Chipotle Mexican Grill in Washington

“It was a busy Saturday, so the normal chaos was present! There aren't a lot of tables inside, but there is seating outside the restaurant, too. The staff was professional, fast and friendly and the food was delicious! Prices were also extremely reasonable for a city establishment!“

“This has to be one of the worse Chipotle locations in the area. They make it hard to order for delivery. Paying the price you pay for double meat and getting a bowl that is so light you wonder if you got a regular portion is unacceptable. And the times I have gone in the store is no better. This location is bad for the Chipotle brand which already is struggling due to portion control. Do better!!“

“From what I saw, it was pretty clean in there and I got through with no wait in line on a Saturday afternoon (July 4th weekend). Skimpy on the portions, I feel like I get more doing mobile orders back home in Atlanta. It may also be a location wise thing, but I need bigger portions for the price, regardless of location.“

“Just finished my burrito and damn was it good. This is by far the best chipotle in the city. Way better than Navy yard and Howard’s chipotle. Every time I come here it’s clean the food is prepared well and it just tastes way better. We are in southeast you’d think this chipotle would be the one nobody wants to go to but nope this is the best one. Don’t let it go down the tubes.“

“One the better chipotles I’ve been to. Came on the later side of the lunch hour and they still had everything. Also I get why they lock the bathrooms, lots of non-customers coming in to use them. Lots of kids trying to just hang out here as well (not customers). Staff was very friendly!“

“It's always a pleasure to go to Chipotle. The place is clean, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff is super friendly and quick when preparing your order. The line moves fast, and I always leave satisfied. Excellent experience every time I go.“

“I order the same thing at every chipotle. Carnitas burritos (white rice, black beans, fajita veggies and everything else but queso and guac)

I like to watch the employees struggle to wrap my massive burrito. Very good and they hooked me up so much that I had to eat a lil with a fork to keep my burrito from unraveling (not complaining :) )“

“This is one of the best chipotle restaurants in Washington DC the employees are very friendly and nice the food it’s good the flavors everything was great I really enjoyed I was with my family and they enjoyed the food I recommend this place.“

“Be glad you are the customer and not the owner because with the massive amount of ingredients they put on your burrtio or in your bowl, I dont see how they turn a profit ?. Fresh and delicious. They all seem like they are mad at each other. I was entertained. Not room to sit inside so plan on carrying it out.

“I’ve had many chipotle bowls in my life but none like this one. It was PERFECT. The ratios, the pico de gallo was so impeccably red, the rice was perfect not too soft not too hard, the guacamole and queso blanco and the chips with a hint of citrus also delicious. Everything was perfectly put together, best bowl I have ever had. Here’s a photo of it mixed“

“It's funny when you go to Chipotle. To be frank with you, a lot of times the meals are a hit or mess. You go to some places and the food's not cooked right.
The portions are off. Everything is not ideal. The people behind the counter are not very friendly.

But at this one, the very moment this way saw me walk through the door, Josue the manager, made me felt important like it was my first time walking into Chipotle.

The food here was nothing short of phenomenal and truthfully, this should be one of their flagship locations on how to do things correctly.

“visit this location often; on 4/29/23 at apprx. 6 pm, I was in line. Several store employees were too playful and vulgar. This happened while a lady old enough to be their grand-mother stood in line. 2 females (young in age) and a male (same).The employees at this location are great, but they must understand that they are at work, and must project some level of professionalism. One of the females work pants was sagging in the back.Hopefully a manager sees this post and addresses the staff that were involved“

“It has been years since I last went to Chipotle. I had the carne asada bowl. It was surprisingly delicious. I expected tough meat and super salty. It was neither. The portion was very large. I couldn't finish it. That is a rarity. The staff all had smiles and looked like they genuinely liked their job. The atmosphere was, let's call it a fast food restaurant. Nothing special.

“the food and service were good but it was hard to find the place because google maps does not take you directly there. additionally, the seating area was rather small and a bit messy alongside it being quite loud. the staff were very kind though!“

“This is one of my favorite places to eat after work, even though the line are sometimes ridiculously long at times the workers are great the night manager he is amazing he is very polite and friendly his customer service is out of this world the young ladies in the evening are quick, friendly and engaging. I have never been in the morning do to my work schedule but I hope the team in the morning is as great as the evening team“

“The team is young but very polite. They were helpful and fun. Will for sure be coming back. They were so tactful and nice to a huge group of kids that came in 5 minutes before close. I work food service and was highly impressed with their hospitality and going above and beyond even though they could have turned away the big group.Shame on those people for not calling ahead or placing the order. This is how problems happen. The team made it easy (even though I knew it would make them stay later to clean up such a late night rush).“

“Jerson (hope I spelled that correctly) and his associates went out of their way to correct an issue that was not their fault, I showed up with one minute to close. I did not expect to be served. Chipotle should recognize the professionalism of Jerson & his associates (wish I had asked for their names) at 10pm 1/14/25. Thank you again!“

“I think they might be under new management but the staff was great! They took their time with everyone’s order and were very personable. I’ve never left a review for chipotle cause it’s usually a disappointment 💀 but they were so great i had to!“

“Friendly staff, tasty food, easy in-and-out ordering or pickup, if the burrito is too big the line staff outsource it to the experienced Hispanic staff member who looks at you and their coworker with great discontent over the size of said burrito and wonders how I am even going to eat this in one sitting, clean bathrooms, the soda machine works…
