“Clicked rice under additions and paid extra because I thought they would add a scoop of rice to the beans that was supposed to come with my order. Instead I just got rice and no beans.

Most places rice and beans is a standard side for orders. That options would be a suggested option for the menu.“

“I came to Metro Diner this morning off the humbug. I was starving & was craving some chicken & waffles from somewhere close in the area. Surprisingly the chicken was very seasoned and crispy. The waffles were also very tasty and soft. The strawberry butter mixed with their signature hot sauce was also pretty good. Alicia was my server. She was such a doll :) Her knowledge of the menu is impeccable and she took very good care of me. “First time ordering from here tonight and we WILL BE BACK… like a lot. We live in pike creek and will make the drive. We got the red beans and rice, gumbo and tomato soup and we need to try the rest of the menu! My husband and I just got back from New Orleans and my husband was sad because he loved the food so I googled and found this place! The gumbo was literally better than we had down there 😍 SO GOOD. And everyone working when I picked up (one was the owners daughter) were so passionate about how they make everything from scratch and kept giving me samples of everything and telling me their story. It’s a WONDERFUL locally owned place that should be protected at all costs. Cannot recommend enough!“

While the menu may appear to be limited, they all the homestyle favorites. There are vegetarian options. My favorite appetizer is on the menu, Fried Burssel Sprouts.

The portions are family style. Don't expect to finish what you order.

“Stopped into PF Chang’s in Glen Mills for a quick snack and grabbed a seat at the bar… best decision! I was so glad to see that some of my favorite appetizers are now available in half sizes. Even though the portions are smaller, the quality and presentation are absolutely not compromised.

Brett, the bartender, was kind, personable, and incredibly attentive. He helped me decide what to order, had me try different sauces with appetizers they aren’t usually paired with, and truly went above and beyond, even with my very minimal order.

“Very nice little place, cozy atmosphere, but most importantly, great and friendly service and some unique and delicious pizza! Ingredients are super fresh and you can tell they have this down to a science because the flavors come together so well and the pizzas cook quick. Also, pizza pies may look small, but they are just right for 1-2 people each, perfectly cooked, not too thin or thick. It is BYOB. My only qualm is that it is a little tight and busy at times it seems (people waiting to sit for their reservation, which can make you feel a little rushed), but it does give it a nice family feel. Small business, really friendly staff, and fantastic pizza, a mist try.“

“Our go-to place for 16 years. Great staff and consistent quality of food. House salad is great and so are their burgers but the Dallas Filet is my favorite. Manager is very attentive to any issues and will always go above and beyond to make sure you are satisified.“

“Had a lovely dinner with the family, early on a Sunday evening.
Our first time at Kid Shelleen's. It was much bigger than it appears at first. We had our two granddaughters with us, one is very vocal and not great at getting food into her mouth. We were conveniently tucked into the back corner where we didn't bother any other patrons, thanks to the wonderful staff. So thankful for their kindness and attention.“

Of all the times I’ve been I’ve only had 2 incidents where I was not happy with the cut of meat. When I brought the issue to the servers attention, they went above and beyond to make things right. I suggest making reservations because they are pretty busy from those that have also fallen in love with this amazing restaurant.
