“This was my 2nd visit to this restaurant when I worked in the area. The food is delicious! Service is outstanding! Decor is cute. Reminds me of Cracker Barrel with stuff all over the walls. I had fried scallops, cheese grits and fried okra. It was a lot of food! I took home leftovers. I will definitely be back.”

“Absolutely NO COMPLAINTS! Arrived near closing time but still welcomed with a smile. Had raw oysters that were amazing (from Galveston Bay) and grouper basket. Both the best since being in Apalachicola. Only wish we hadn’t waited till our last night to eat here. Won’t make that mistake again!”

“A buddy and I have been coming here for red snapper season each summer for about five years.
Pros:
1. Good fishing.
2. Friendly staff.
3. Old Florida laid back vibe.
4. The site is lovely.
5. Has an on-site boat ramp.
6. Has an on-site bait and tackle store.
7. Have watched bald eagles nestled among the tree tops while sitting on the porch of our cabin.
8. Boat dockage is free if you rent lodging.

Cons:
1. Spiders living inside of the rental cabin.
2. Furniture
3. Biting insects
4. No screen porch on cabin”

“Always quaint with interesting souvenirs. The chocolate/peanut butter shakes are always scrumptious! Have them make it with REAL peanut butter... Not the syrup”

“We had an absolute blast!! Food was amazing! Atmosphere nice! Management even came and spoke to us personally!! And held a convo didn’t jsut ask if it was good! AND we didn’t have to wait 2 hours at 7pm w a party of 14 (we were staying on St. George everything was 2 hours or about to close) oysters were amazing!! My mom and my son shared a plate of the Rockefeller ones SOOOO GOOD!!! And the grouper 😍😭 & my fiancés steak was amazing!!! (He’s allergic to shellfish! ) 🤣🤣🤣”

“Despite the rude/low performer lady at cash register this morning, I’d still come back for the coffee… One person with us had questions, obviously never being here was a little different, and the cashier was completely unhelpful and seemed to be aggravated by our guest. On the other hand, the coffee was absolutely amazing!! So if you can get past a rude cashier, you will not be disappointed by the coffee.”

Went in right after opening @ about 11 AM, self seated, picked our orders out, ordered at the counter - food came out within 15 minutes: hot, fresh, and DELICIOUS! My wife and I recommend the onion rings, salmon (grilled) & flounder po boy sandwich. It is MORE than you can eat, for sure!”
