“Amazing Wine Tasting dinner this evening at Luna Food & Wine in Cocoa Beach. The wine pairings were fabulous and spot on. Never would have thought of pairing a Chardonnay with a spicy crevette creole but it was perfect. Outstanding menu, perfect sized portions and wonderful pairings with wines from Midnight Cellars. Waiting for the next wine pairing dinner there. Chef Luca and LeeAnn are such wonderful hosts and make their guest feel like family.”

Great service and a very friendly bartender. Our dinners at Waves were great. The rock shrimp flatbread was fantastic, and the scallops were presented quite artistically and the were superb.”

“Whenever we visit the beach on vacation, we stop here, and I will say that the customer service, vibe, and food is always 10/10. We hadn't been in 3 years until a few days ago, and it was still the same. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for good seafood, appetizers, and sides that are made from scratch and not processed 🤣. I would highly recommend it. The staff make it even more pleasant to eat there. They always smile and constantly check on you to make sure that your family is great.”

“First time here last Saturday and it was AMAZING. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in. The staff were attentive, polite and knew every detail on the menu. Our waiter, Austin was fabulous and so pleasant (and extremely cute). I even chatted with Chef Ricardo who, even though he was super busy, spent a few minutes talking with me. My now wife and I started going there a couple of years ago and fell in love with it to the point it is a must do every trip we take to Cocoa Beach and it ended up being where we held our wedding reception. There are numerous reviews that complain about the service but our server Rafael, from Switzerland was great and managed the whole dining room himself. The food is always well prepared and reasonably priced. The decor could use a freshening up but times are tough for small businesses and profits keep getting thinner. “Neat little mom and pop type establishment. We stopped there on our beach day in the middle of our Walt Disney World trip. There aren't many good seafood restaurants here in Minnesota besides the big names. So it was a bit of a different atmosphere than we are used to. The experience was quite refreshing. The fish tacos were big but didn't contain a lot of fish. I would definitely come through here again but if you have a large family it may be a little pricey for beach/bar food.”

“Siam Orchid Cocoa Beach is a Thai, Japanese & sushi restaurant inside the La Quinta Inn that offers a casual space with Asian flair. We discovered this restaurant on our way back to the hotel and decided to check it out. After seeing the reviews on Yelp, we decided to make this our choice for dinner. Walking in, the location was clean and presented a dim ambiance. We headed to the hostess stand, requested a table for two and were immediately taken to our table. As it was my first time, I took a moment to take in all of the options. The menu was very robust and had pages of great options. Once I had taken it all in, I decided on the Crab Rangoon for my appetizer and the Pad Thai with Chicken as my entreé. Crab Rangoon: Very Meaty. Not the cluster of Cream Cheese inner back home. These were filled with crab meat and the right amount of cream cheese. They were very flavorful and fried to perfection. The sweet chili sauce provided was amazing as well and really put the flavor profile on 1000. Pad Thai: The Pad Thai was off the chain good. Great portion. Multi-Flavor profile dish which was done to perfection. All of the flavors paired well and allowed each one to shine. The level of sweetness was exactly as you would expect from a Pad Thai dish done right. Also, the noodles were done perfectly which really complimented the tenderness of the chicken. I’m talking Purrrrrrrrrrfection. Siam Orchid Cocoa Beach was a great decision for dinner. Compliments to the chef.”

That’s when we stumbled upon Tropics Cocktail Bar, and what a delightful discovery it turned out to be! As we stepped inside, the vibrant atmosphere immediately enveloped us, setting the perfect tone for an evening of relaxation and indulgence.

Our server, Nicole, was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we were seated, she greeted us with a warm smile and engaging conversation that made us feel right at home. Her recommendations were spot-on, showcasing her extensive knowledge of the menu. She suggested we try their signature Filipino chesestic, and I can honestly say it was one of the best culinary decisions we've ever made. Each bite was a heavenly experience, the cheese delightfully melting in our mouths, creating a rich and savory sensation that left us wanting more.

But the culinary adventure didn’t stop there! Next up were the chili lime fries, which were a glorious blend of zesty, salty, and spicy flavors. The seasoning was just perfect, the tang of lime paired wonderfully with the heat from the chili, elevating these fries to a whole new level of deliciousness. We couldn’t get enough, and we found ourselves reminiscing about our beach day while indulging in these delightful snacks.

To make the evening even more special, we decided to sample the Baller whiskey. It may not be a traditional Japanese whiskey, it is beautifully Japanese-inspired and aged in authentic Japanese casks. This unique finishing process imparted a smoothness and complexity that was simply divine. Each sip felt like a mini celebration, and we enjoyed the playful garnish of eyes added by the staff, whimsically scattered around the bar, adding a touch of fun to the experience.

As the night wore on, we found ourselves completely immersed in the atmosphere of the bar, the laughter, the music, and the exquisite drinks all combined to create an unforgettable experience. We left Tropics Cocktail Bar with big smiles on our faces and memories etched in our minds, feeling grateful for the wonderful staff, especially Nicole, who made our evening so memorable. If you're looking for a place to unwind and enjoy fantastic food and drink, I cannot recommend this bar enough!”

The only tricky part was figuring out their hours, online it said they were open until 7, but when we showed up around 4 one day, they were already closed. Luckily, we came back the next day around lunchtime and got to enjoy some shaved ice. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!”

“Restaurant is inside the Resort on Cocoa Beach. Food was great! Service was amazing. Today they have a “Cuban Night” serving Oxtail Cuban style. We are definitely going tonight to enjoy some Cuban food.

Like I said, came to try the Oxtail and it was delicious, it is served with black beans, white rice, yucca and fried plantains. I definitely recommend it.
Every Thursday they have Cuban food. There is also Happy Hour from 4:00 to 6:00 seven days a week.”

“Needed some food while in town spending most of my time at Cape Canaveral Hospital. There were a few Chinese options equal distance away. This was exactly what I expected… except for the fact the Generals and Sesame chicken meals were really nice portions of white meat. I could barely finish mine. Two lunch plates with fried rice and a soda…~$20.50 (special served until 3pm). I would have no issue paying the higher (slightly) menu price for what you get.
And when I got back to the hospital, parked, and went to 4th floor to eat…food was still very hot. Thanks Kim Bo!”
