“I lived in Lake Wales for over twenty years and I love Al’s Place the friendliest bar in town, remind me of the old tv show “Cheers “ when everyone knows your name. The beer is cold, the food delicious and they give you plenty. On your first trip there you will get initiated with the yardstick and become a member of the family group. My son and daughter got me back in Pennsylvania as I age to see that I have proper care, but promise me every so often the would bring me back to Lake Wales to visit all my old friend. Looking forward to February at when they celebrate the the holiday Mardi Gras and have a great time with all my old friends…..It’s a pleasure…Thank You.“

He helped me over the phone when the awful AI system failed when placing my order (please reconsider that as an option because I almost hung up because of it). Not only that, he made me smile while placing my order and offered suggestions to tasty dishes since this was my first time trying this place. “I preordered food through Door Dash for a pickup and arrived at the restaurant when it was convenient for me. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, they greeted me, helped with a quick pickup and helped me with the food on the way out. The food itself tasted fresh and was extremely flavorful. We will definitely come back to try their milkshake selection.“

“Why I enjoy eating at this IHOP being close distance to Legoland after work from a late shift. Every so often especially on cooler nights I choose the IHOP because I like the coffee that is comes served in a carafe. The Servers here will help out other servers if needed to and they are so polite and courteous. It never takes to long waiting to get a refill on drinks. I also like there sweet tea.
The Ihop is always the best diner because every month they have Special Menus. They are also the only restaurant that has 4 different flavors of syrup.
The average price is for a meal with drinks is $20.00
There were a couple of times on the cold days of Spring it was just a cold inside as it was outside. Nothing like eating inside only to have to wear Winter clothing. At least the Summer nights the atmosphere has improved more comfortable AC.
My only disappointment is if you want a Salad the best dressing flavors are gone.

“Tantrums food truck was at Front Page Brewery in Bartow and we weren’t going to get anything we brought pizza but I kept smelling the food so we got the shrimp and grits. Best decision of my life! I love shrimp and grits but this is a different take on it. It was absolutely delicious! Like how did this come off a food truck! The crispy grits cakes the bacon peppers and onions the shrimp cooked perfectly! Can’t wait for them to come back!“

“I loved this place. Overlooking Lake Hamilton with plenty of outdoor seating 💺 and Tiki Bar. The brewery is small and quaint with two levels to enjoy your surroundings. They had one of the World Cup matching inside and outside on a large screen. A thunderstorm rolled in which was to me a pleasant experience. The civiche was really good, some of the best I've ever had. The California rolls were not as good as we've had.“
