“I visited Oldays Coffee and had a great experience. Over the course of my meal, I enjoyed two americanos. The coffee was smooth, balanced, and carried a subtle brightness. There was a touch of citrus on the front and a cocoa-like finish that lingered just long enough. It’s the kind of cup that rewards you for paying attention.

For food, I ordered scrambled eggs with gluten-free toast and house potatoes. The eggs were light and satisfying, the toast sturdy enough to do its job, and the potatoes offered a crisp edge with a soft interior. Classic breakfast done well.

Since I was extra hungry (light dinner the night before, more room for wine), I also added the super greens with lemon vinaigrette. The citrus gave it a bright lift, but it was the mint that surprised me—cutting through with a refreshing punch that kept each bite lively. That detail elevated the salad from simple to memorable.

I sat outside on the covered patio, the only guest in that space. It was quiet, calm, and toward the end of my meal, the rain began. I lingered rather than rushing off, and it turned out to be a lovely place to wait out the weather.

The service tied it all together. Ignacio, my server, was attentive without being intrusive. He never made me feel rushed, even though I was dining solo outside.

A hidden gem in a older shopping center. I had the signature panini and my wife had the sunny spinach toast. Both were delicious. The panini was smoky, spicy (not heat, but flavor), and very cheesy. The spinach toast was beautifully proportions and also beautifully seasoned.

The place is spotless, and has a variety of gluten free and vegetarian options.“

We ordered the 2+2+2 which is 2 Eggs, 2 Sausages or Bacon and 2 French Toast or Pancakes. My wife ordered the same thing but with Bacon. Our friend ordered a 1/2 order of Biscuits and Sausage Gravy. Even though they were busy, our order came out fast. My Eggs were done perfectly, and the Sausage tasted good. The French Toast was hot and very good. My wife’s Eggs were done perfectly, and her Bacon was browned just like she wanted. Her French Toast was very tasty. Our friend's Biscuits and Sausage gravy was very good. Everything was hot and tasted great. I can't wait to get back there for dinner so I can make a more involved review. We went back for dinner around 5pm the same day and got seated immediately. I ordered Chopped Steak with Mashed Potatoes, Coleslaw and Salad. I liked the fact our waitress asked how I wanted my Chopped Steak done. The wife ordered the Salmon with Baked Potato, Coleslaw and Salad, our friend ordered the foot long Hot Dog with Fries. They served our Salads quickly. Everything tasted fresh, one thing I loved was that our Salads were chilled. Our main order came out shortly after our Salads. They looked great and filled up our plates. My Chopped Steak was done perfectly, Mashed Potatoes were good, and of course the Coleslaw was very delicious. My wife’s Salmon was done and tasted great. She did say her Baked Potato tasted a little old. She loved her Coleslaw as well as her Salad. Our friend's foot long Hot Dog was done perfectly, and he loved the Fries, they did have some extra fried onions on the plate along with his dog. All our food was hot and very tasty. Wednesday 10-9-24 we stopped for breakfast. We got seated fast and coffee cups were filled at that time. I got the House Special which consisted of 3 Eggs, 1 Smoked Sausage, Home Fries and Rye Bread. My wife ordered the Belgium Waffle with fresh Strawberries. Our ordered came out fast and it was hot and so good. One of the best breakfasts out that I ever had for sure. We stopped back for dinner same day at 6:30pm. I ordered the Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Filling, Carrots and Peas. I also got a house Salad on the side. My wife ordered the same thing, and our friend ordered the 6 BBQ Wings. When JT brought our food out it was hot, large portions and so tasty. It was the best Turkey platter I ever had at a restaurant. Our friend loved his BBQ wings as they were meaty and very tasty. Thursday 10-10-24 we stopped for our last meal as we were leaving to go back home next morning. I got the Chopped Steak, Mashed Potatoes, and side Salad again. My wife got the Roast Beef sandwich. Our friend got a side Caesar Salad. Service was fast food was hot and all was very good. I do recommend this place and believe you all need to try it. Prices are reasonable, the servings are large, a great value for your money. I gave this place 5 stars, for the great tasting food, large portions, and service all above and beyond. “Java & Jam is a local coffeehouse on Las Olas that also serves all day breakfast. Although I don’t drink coffee, the iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha drink featured outside is really what lured me in. The atmosphere was chill with both inside seating and a covered patio area.

I ordered the Tri Color Quinoa salad along with the iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha. When my drink was brought out, I could not wait to take the first sip. However, I found the matcha flavor to be light and the glass was filled with about 1/3 of ice. Also, my drink was not garnished with the chocolate bar as depicted and when I enquired, I was told by Kelly (our server) that they were out of garnish. Also note that there is an upcharge for alternate milks (oat, coconut & soy).

My salad was brought out promptly (15 mins) and it looked great and tasted even better. This mediterranean inspired combination of lettuce, cucumbers, chick peas and feta cheese dressed with a cilantro and tahini combination was truly delightful. It was fresh and refreshing at the same time.

Overall, Java & Jam is a great niche find on Las Olas, especially if you’re craving breakfast foods after the usual breakfast hours.“

“I can't speak highly enough about this company in general, but more specifically, this location (Cypress Creek Rd). The coffee itself is great and they have heavy cream, which is almost impossible to find at any coffee shop, even the very high end ones. However, what makes me come back here again and again, is the staff. The ladies that work at this location are amazing. They are polite, efficient, friendly, and make you feel valued as a customer (which is a rarity after 2020!). Also,the atmosphere at Filomenas is so fun. I don't live near this location, so I haven't been able to partake in the after hours music events, but they look so cool and fun. It's nice to have a place where you can grab a good and quick bite to eat, with quality coffee/drink options, a great rewards program, and fantastic staff. Even though I have a state-of-the-art coffee machine at work, I make a point to drive here a few times a week to enjoy my break and have a great Cafe au lait. I highly recommend this coffee/Cafe to everyone!“

It was absolutely freezing inside, but the do have a door that takes you to a outside patio. With table and chairs. The barista that took my order was so pleasant and so nice. I absolutely love the service and the food and drink tasted great.“
