“I had a wonderful experience here. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a good coffee. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the drinks.

The coffee, the Brown Sugar Latte, and the chai are without a doubt some of the best I’ve ever had. Everything was prepared perfectly, and you can really tell that care goes into every drink. This will definitely become one of my favorite coffee spots.

I especially want to recognize Hary for her outstanding service. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional throughout my visit. Try any of their specials (the Norma) but also the lasagna Bolognese - the owners' regional specialty - or the Vongole, pizzas. And desserts - panna cottas and tiramisu. All made fresh 🙏“

I was staying nearby and accidentally stumbled upon Parlor Doughnuts. Let me just say… this wasn’t a stop. It was a spiritual awakening.

If you’ve never had a cake doughnut, prepare yourself. These aren’t the sad little doughnuts sitting in a gas station display case. These are fluffy, buttery, crispy-on-the-outside, melt-in-your-mouth masterpieces. One bite and I seriously considered extending my vacation just to come back the next morning.

Pro tip: Get there EARLY! They close at 3 PM, and the best flavors disappear faster than free pizza in an office break room. If you show up late, don’t blame the doughnut gods.

“I visit Pura Vida today which I haven’t done in sometime.When I lived at Bay Harbor Island years ago I used to patronize this lovely place—- the original Pura Vida.
Today I had the pleasure of being served by Ale at the Ft. Lauderdale location, another lovely place.
I thought she was exceptional, as she came to check on us, making sure we were having a great experience. Since I was very happy with my sandwich Ale apologized and asked what else could she offer then made a few recommendations, since I had explained just having had some oral surgery earlier in the week. The replacement was much better and took the rest home for later👌 I will certainly go back to that location.

Tuesday morning 10-8-24 at 9:50am This place looked good, so we wanted to try it for breakfast. This was our very first time here. They were busy and most of the front was filled. This place was clean and neat and had a 50's vibe to the interior. Our waitress Shawna came over fast, introduced herself and gave us our coffee. We ordered the 2+2+2 which is 2 Eggs, 2 Sausages or Bacon and 2 French Toast or Pancakes. My wife ordered the same thing but with Bacon. Our friend ordered a 1/2 order of Biscuits and Sausage Gravy. Even though they were busy, our order came out fast. My Eggs were done perfectly, and the Sausage tasted good. The French Toast was hot and very good. My wife’s Eggs were done perfectly, and her Bacon was browned just like she wanted. Her French Toast was very tasty. Our friend's Biscuits and Sausage gravy was very good. Everything was hot and tasted great. I can't wait to get back there for dinner so I can make a more involved review. We went back for dinner around 5pm the same day and got seated immediately. I ordered Chopped Steak with Mashed Potatoes, Coleslaw and Salad. I liked the fact our waitress asked how I wanted my Chopped Steak done. The wife ordered the Salmon with Baked Potato, Coleslaw and Salad, our friend ordered the foot long Hot Dog with Fries. They served our Salads quickly. Everything tasted fresh, one thing I loved was that our Salads were chilled. Our main order came out shortly after our Salads. They looked great and filled up our plates. My Chopped Steak was done perfectly, Mashed Potatoes were good, and of course the Coleslaw was very delicious. My wife’s Salmon was done and tasted great. She did say her Baked Potato tasted a little old. She loved her Coleslaw as well as her Salad. Our friend's foot long Hot Dog was done perfectly, and he loved the Fries, they did have some extra fried onions on the plate along with his dog. All our food was hot and very tasty. Wednesday 10-9-24 we stopped for breakfast. We got seated fast and coffee cups were filled at that time. I got the House Special which consisted of 3 Eggs, 1 Smoked Sausage, Home Fries and Rye Bread. My wife ordered the Belgium Waffle with fresh Strawberries. Our ordered came out fast and it was hot and so good. One of the best breakfasts out that I ever had for sure. We stopped back for dinner same day at 6:30pm. I ordered the Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Filling, Carrots and Peas. I also got a house Salad on the side. My wife ordered the same thing, and our friend ordered the 6 BBQ Wings. When JT brought our food out it was hot, large portions and so tasty. It was the best Turkey platter I ever had at a restaurant. Our friend loved his BBQ wings as they were meaty and very tasty. Thursday 10-10-24 we stopped for our last meal as we were leaving to go back home next morning. I got the Chopped Steak, Mashed Potatoes, and side Salad again. My wife got the Roast Beef sandwich. Our friend got a side Caesar Salad. Service was fast food was hot and all was very good. I do recommend this place and believe you all need to try it. Prices are reasonable, the servings are large, a great value for your money. I gave this place 5 stars, for the great tasting food, large portions, and service all above and beyond. “Authentic Israeli style shawarma is one of the hardest things to find in this country. They absolutely nail it at Friendship Grill. The food can cure antisemitism. Seriously, it is made with love and delicious beyond words. Make sure to ask for the amba sauce. It is a sweet, slightly spicy sauce made from fermented mango and several spices. You will not regret it. To be honest, it is expensive. One shawarma pita with no sides is $36. But you are right in the middle of Las Olas, and it is getting harder and harder for restaurants to survive on what people think prices should be. So do not fault them for that. Your money is also going to a genuinely good cause. Look up Chabad. Their charity is legendary worldwide, and the restaurant is directly affiliated with them. Also, Spencer did a great job taking my order today. If you want something truly unique that you cannot get just anywhere, while also supporting Israel and treating yourself to an incredible meal, go to Friendship Grill. Just do not come Friday evening.“

“I set out to visit On the Run Coffee Bar, but we ended up just ordering some coffee and eating at EMYLY'S GARDEN. The space is nice, and it's a good place to hang out on a Sunday morning or early afternoon. The staff is friendly, and the drinks are incredible. The location is shared, which can cause some confusion—the only drawback.

I would recommend it as a quiet place to hang out with friends and family. There is plenty of seating. There is paid parking nearby for $20.00 or more.“

“I would love to say I’m a matcha connoisseur and this place was super cute. I love the theme of decorating the place with matcha whisks and all the staff wearing green. As for the matcha I ordered the banana bread and Ube ice matcha. I’ve tried matcha from around the world and have tried it at Japan and honestly the matcha here is pretty good. My only critique is that the because the water the put into the matcha powder is very hot it causes the drink to have a bit of an aftertaste. If you don’t like a bit of bitterness then I wouldn’t recommend this place. But, the staff were nice the drinks were good. They have other treats to try that I’m hoping to try next time!“
