“Incredible food, drinks and service at Veronica's Fish and Oyster Bar last night for our Anniversary 💍🍾🥂 Highly recommend! We shared the octopus appetizer. My hubby had the skirt steak. I had the whole branzino (not pictured BC the photo was too blurry) it came with the Greek salad. We shared the wild mushrooms and the roasted Brussel sprouts. They also have a fabulous selfie mirror in the ladies room 😍 Our waitress Alexandra was amazing and even brought us a free dessert to celebrate 🥳“

We ordered fried oysters, French fries, and cheese grits, and everything was absolutely delicious. The oysters were fried to perfection, crispy on the outside yet tender and flavorful inside. The cheese grits were just the way I like them—nice and thick—and the fries were a great complement to the meal. Even better, our food arrived quickly and fresh. Our waitress, Lilly, was fantastic, providing friendly and attentive service. We also appreciated how the rest of the staff greeted us warmly as we walked through the restaurant. It’s little details like that that make a place feel extra welcoming. The restaurant itself was clean and well-kept, including the bathrooms, which is always a big plus. Anna Maria Oyster Bar now has four locations, and after this experience, I’d definitely visit again. “I come here every Friday and Tuesday. Best beer in town and PigFish has best pub food I’ve found here, they should expand the menu slightly. Side note I only eat meat if I know it’s not sourced Sysco, US Foods, etc, Pigfish has a good vibe“

“We just happened upon El Ceviche and with knowledge that ceviche was invented in Peru and I hadn't had it in a long time, we ventured in with no recommendation from anyone. What a find! Best shrimp ceviche ever! My husband ordered a beef dish, Lomo Saltado and said it was delicious. Peruvian corn was a real treat. This is on my Best Of list! Go. Eat. Enjoy.“

“Our favorite place! We go a few times a month for NE steamers, and occasionally a few other items! Today we both had NE steamers, I had a bowl of Manhattan clam chowder and my boyfriend had whole belly fried clam plate. The chowder was delicious. I have had Manhattan chowder a few other places but this was chuck full of clams and ingredients! Our server told me they make all chowder and soups homemade. Next time I’ll try NE chowder, only reason I didn’t was because I can’t have flour and most have that in it My boyfriend also loved his clams and we both always love the steamers. They have a fish market also so you can get something to take home and cook for the next evening! We always sit at the bar. All servers are friendly and polite. We have been there tons of times and always had excellent service and fabulous food! Prices are very reasonable and we highly recommend Captain Brian’s! They are closed on Sundays . Love love this gem of a place!!“

We sat outside on patio and it was not that nice out there, buckets and cleaning supplies laying around etc. Other than that a great casual place for seafood boils, go for the food and ignore the atmosphere!“

“I just tried their lobster salad roll last weekend while we were staying at the beach for a couple nights. I was going back to our room from the beach and it was over 100 degrees out, the kids were grumpy and I just wanted a lobster roll. It was delicious! The staff was so friendly, and even gave me a sample of their slushy drink (mix the lemonade and strawberry açaí 😉) and it was SO refreshing. I’ll definitely have to visit every time we are in town.“

Mind you, our expectations are high because we've become accustomed to over the top Indian flavors and varieties. Since here we've tried 3 places. One was terrible the other 2 were ok. Today, we found our new go to spot for Indian on Fruitville and Honoree called Royal Peacock. Food fresh, great taste and aroma, impeccable service, not over the top pricing and a clean pleasant atmosphere. We had Palak Panere mild and chicken Vindaloo spicy, both white and saffron rice, along with butter nane. Don't waste your time at the others this is the real stuff. JK“

Service was prompt, he was attentive without hovering, and when we had a little mishap by way of a spilled glass of Sangria he took care of us immediately. Alex was our bartender and he’s got mad skills with a dirty martini. If you’re at this restaurant ask for these young men… You will not be disappointed!“
