“I had heard about this hot restaurant from New York that I must try, but was reticent to do so because Carbone was the name of a character from Goodfellas that Robert Deniro's Jimmy Conway whacked when tying up loose ends after the Lufthansa job! Poor sap was hanging frozen in a meat locker. I'm glad I put that imagery aside because this place was amazing! Platitudes like wonderful ambience, fine service, flavorful food, great family style dining, are all applicable but just don't capture the full spirit of the evening. From the pickled cauliflower, to the signature spicy rigatoni ala vodka (which pairs nicely with their pinot noir offering Presqu'ile), to the Caesar salad (you must have those croutons!), and their delicious Italian petit-fours, everything burst with flavor and was resplendent of the authenticity of old Venice. And since you will be spending more than a few pennies here, one must luxuriate in the mid century environs replete with Murano glass chandeliers while being serenaded with a sound track of Italian crooners like Mel Torme and Frank Sinatra in the full bela canta tradition. If you have a special occasion, Carbones Miami Beach will make for a memorable evening.“

“Very friendly staff and good atmosphere! We had the Cuban sandwich and avacado toast and some cold draft peroni beers! They were very accommodating to our needs and sat us away from a nice family with kids so we could have private adult conversation without disturbing them! ( it can be noisy on the beachfront cafes so you have to talk a bit louder!) overall very nice place!“

Recommend the - “That Watermelon Drink” and the “PB&J Old Fashioned”—both were incredible! We didn’t order food, but the menu looked really good. The space is cozy and perfect for groups or a date night, and the music was on point with a great variety all night long. Overall, such a fun experience—definitely a place I’d come back to!“

The chicken breast was perfectly cooked—juicy, flavorful, and satisfying. But the garden salad? Hands down, the best I’ve ever had. Crisp, fresh, and bursting with flavor, it was a masterpiece in simplicity.

The mussels were a delightful surprise—plump, tender, and swimming in a broth so good I nearly asked for a straw. And the Neapolitan pizza? Next-level. Wood-fired perfection with a crust that dreams are made of.

The atmosphere was disrupted yesterday by the manager who cornered a young employee and literally cursed him in front of guests and other employees. It was so unprofessional and uncomfortable and disrespectful. Otherwise, again, the food is great and the servers staff are really friendly.

My experience of a long wait, at Daytona International Raceway, was partly due to Stephanie pulling the product back as the staff was about to deliver it, as she was not pleased with one of the items they were about to serve, which BTW, to a layman, looked fine.
