The matcha ice cream paired with sweet purple potato paste was absolutely incredible. It was a unique combination that worked so well together.

The presentation was elegant, and the flavors felt authentic and thoughtfully crafted. It’s very interesting to watch the ice cream being made right in front of you. The preparation is a little performance in itself, adding to the overall experience.“

I feel after the pandemic, it's really changed the service force. It was such a fresh breath of air to have such an amazing time and service! I had a party of 11 of us for my birthday, and we were treated with smiles, and taken care of like kings. The food was phenomenal! Some of the most beautiful, fresh seafood I have ever had in my entire life. I've been traveling seven years full-time, and I will definitely be coming back just to eat here! “This place ranks number 1 for me at the moment. I’m a huge fan of Tuna Tataki - I’ve tried two versions that Arigatai offers; Sesame Tuna Delight and Tuna Explosion- both are fantastic.“

“We ate at the chefs counter and had the “off the menu” omakase which included an appetizer, a selection of nigiri, miso soup and a dessert. There’s no official sake pairing but the chef does give a recommendation. We love omakase and have it regularly. Chef Tomo is a delight and truly passionate about his menu. The nigiri was very fresh and was not served “plain”, but was topped with various ingredients or flame broiled. This gave some new flavors we had not been exposed to, some may say this is less traditional. However, it was delicious. The appetizer was so good, topped with uni, need I say more. The food and chef counter vibe were 5 stars no doubt. The front of house leaves a lot to be desired. They were on their phones most of the time, had no clue what sake was on the menu or what to recommend, unable to name the fish, weren’t working in a way that seems “high end” or with superior service, in fact they don’t seem to care about this job or restaurant at all which is sad since they are essentially the face of the place. There’s so much potential here.“

“Faux-makase! (Fake omakase) is exactly what it is. Self proclaimed “non traditional omakase.” Also know as slow-makase. Nossa deserves a noose-a. I was recommended this restaurant by my hotel concierge. Had a horrible experience here. Should have known since they require pre-payment online via tock which actually codes as professional services and not a restaurant so they avoid the credit card fees. By the way, they will ask you to pay a ridiculous and mandatory 20% service charge plus tax after your “meal.” After payment, you will receive an email which says “The day of your reservation you will receive an email with instructions to access to the speakeasy bar.” However, I never received any email. I put nossa into google and it took me to the filthy, run down Hyatt centric hotel. I went inside and asked where the restaurant was and they took me through a stinky alley next to the hotel trash room said to knock the door. This made me extremely uncomfortable and almost decided to just leave. Little did I know the horror I was about to experience. I knocked the door and a lady asked for the password so I gave my last name on the reservation. She didn’t open and kept asking for a password. I demanded she open the door and gave my last name on the reservation. She said I should have received instructions on a paper from another restaurant on the other side of the street which I was not informed of. She said I was late and that they already started so she showed me to my seat. The room felt like a sewer with too many people crammed around a dirty scratched up bar. I was in group 11 which means there were at least 20 guests there. The music was horrendous and unbearable. The ambiance was very creepy. The staff smelled really bad. I was offered a welcome drink which I opted for a sparking water which was not sparking at all as it was flat without bubbles so they brought me a bottle instead. They didn’t ask about any allergies and handed me the first course which I had to spit out because it contained alcohol which I don’t drink. The chef kept inaudibly shouting out the descriptions of the dishes for each course towards different corners of the room in an attempt for everyone to hear but you only hear and understand the words which were said in your direction. All the ingredients were old and not fresh. The food did not taste good. The portions were tiny so don’t think you’ll be full when you leave here by any means. The place is extremely unsanitary. The chef even wipes your plates using the same towel as the previous groups one after another. I was absolutely disgusted. Finally the last course came and again I was served alcohol without being told what it was. Luckily the chef caught it before I could drink it and replaced it with iced tea. I asked if we’re were finished and she said yes. The experience was a complete waste of time so we were happy to walk out and leave. The lady chased us on our way out and said there was an additional payment to be made for gratuity and tax. I asked if this was mandatory and she answered yes. Mind you this was never communicated before. She also said she didn’t have a wireless credit card machine so I gave her my physical card to go swipe and come back. The chef came out, handed me my receipt and credit card then asked: “Is there a reason why you’re unhappy.” I answered: Yes, I didn’t enjoy the experience. He shrugged his shoulders and replied: “I’m sorry but unfortunately not everybody does, I guess” I was shocked and just stormed out. Exit left next to the trash room, literally.“

I'd recommend the Combo 2. It's a large amount of sushi for a reasonable price. If you are hosting a date for 2 at home and want a lot that you can make 2 large plates from its exactly what I'd recommend.

“Well to start off, my experience was amazing. right off the bat with a lot of great options such as drinks and appetizers our server which i believe was Tara. (pardon me if I'm wrong) had lots of great options such as recommending us with their blueberry cheesecake their recommendations and menu guidance was professional. this is my new favorite restaurant in miami with flavor popping in every corner of your mouth. we ordered the BT experience and we were surprised with the pricing with all of the unique toppings to the food. but the one complaint that i have is that their nigiri's offer a slight bit too much wasabi but the flavor made up for it. i recommend asking them to torch them since it gives it a nice smoky flavor this has got to be a nice option after a important event and is a nice secret spot i would love if this place could expand and let more people know about it this place has a extreme amount of potential ahead i would like to thank everyone involved with my meal thank you.“

“The service here is really great and all of the sushi is delicious. However, I find the pricing of single pieces of nigiri and sashimi to be way over priced for the quality. For example, one piece of salmon nigiri is $7 and one piece of o toro tuna is $15. No where else in Miami are prices that high except for fine dining. Down the road at katana you can get two pieces of better quality sashimi for less than the price of one piece here. So if coming I recommend sticking to their rolls instead of ordering their sashimi or nigiri.“
