I recommend downloading the Basel app, making a schedule, and fitting time in for black art activations all around the city from TONE at NADA to PRIZM. Miami was originally founded by a wise woman, a railroad man, and a real-estate man Dana Albert Dorsey who was black and black stars are making people flock to the city still to this day. Magic ✧“

“We walked there in the evening and had a reservation which we booked about an hour before we arrived. The food and service were excellent, our waiter was very helpful and our drinks arrived quickly. It had a real feel of a french establishment and we started with a couple glasses of Sancerre. The flavor of the french onion soup was extremely well balanced and I highly recommend their pepper steak (au poivre) which is done with filet mignon. The cook on the steak was exactly what I asked for and you can tell the chef is precise and confident with all of the dishes. The atmosphere was pleasantly subdued, dim and had its own flair, you can tell the reason this place has been around so long is because they have a reputation for success. I think either the manager or the owner stopped by our table to check in on us as well, which we appreciated. We ordered their prawn special and my wife was thrilled with how it came out. I want to go back for some escargot and try their other dishes sometime.

“Nice place nested in a very walk-able area in Coral Gables. The croissants were GREAT! The manager let us try some of there fruit cake for the holidays and it was the best fruit cake I think I've ever had. Little pricey, worth the experience.“

I had the croque madame with smoked salmon, along with their coffee and café au lait, and everything was absolutely delicious. As someone who is French—and very picky—I can honestly say this place feels like my little corner of France. I live an hour away, but it’s worth every mile, and I’ll definitely be back often. “La Parisienne Bakery is a nice little spot. It’s not fancy, and the chairs aren’t the most comfortable, but if you’re looking for a simple, satisfying breakfast, it’s definitely worth a visit. The food is fresh, tasty, making it a place to start your day.
Only thing , sadly the coffee is terrible !

“I just had what is probably the best burger Miami has to offer.

The bun was incredible, the meat was cooked to perfection, the caramelized onions had the perfect smoky flavor, and somehow the burger stayed together from the first bite to the last.

And the sauce? Out of this world.

They won Miami’s Best Burger, and honestly… end of story.“

“I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place truly deserves one. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and very welcoming from the moment you walk in.

One thing that really stood out to me was the fresh orange juice, which is made right in front of you. The homemade lemonades are also fantastic. Nowadays, it’s becoming harder and harder to find places that actually make their own products instead of using premade ingredients, so I really appreciated the effort and quality behind everything they serve.

The team was wonderful—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It was refreshing to see employees who seem happy to be there and take pride in what they do.

And if you visit, do yourself a favor and order the French Toast. It is an absolute must-try and one of the best I’ve had in a long time. I’ll definitely be back!“
