“What can I say, I’ve been here quite a few times. Today was my favorite time ever being here actually. I decided to let whatever server I got, choose everything I ate. And Aurora did not disappoint. I asked her about seafood and she told me why the lobster tacos might be the way to go. She talked about flavor balancing between different menu items and tried to explain to me all the showcasing of the different seafood and how it worked for flavor profiles. I asked her about side dishes to go with it. She told me all the standard side dishes and she saw that I was not over excited by any of the offerings and she suggested maybe the premium truffle ranch potatoes might be what I’m looking for. She was not wrong on any of it. Lobster was cooked to perfection and all of the items placed on that taco belong there. She was right the balance was there. I was surprised when I got the fries. I thought it was going to be drenched and something, but it wasn’t. But I tasted the truffle and the ranch and the sauce and the side was perfect next to those crispy fries. I did not want to jinx myself so I had her decide my dessert unknown to her what I was doing. She chose the pistachio bread pudding. Not something I would ever get. It was delicious. I’m not going to lie. My only complaint is it needs more ice cream because it is so decadent and rich. Just get an extra side dish of more ice cream, you’ll thank me. Aurora you are a great server and I hope RusTeak knows it. Thank you for making tonight epic for me. I am stuffed and happy.“

“Seasons 52 never disappoints us and that is why we go back over and over. We tried the new Alaskan Butterfish on the fall menu. It melted in my mouth. Ponzu broth was good but personally, I prefer the butterfish to be cooked miso glazed and the rice under the fish to be dry. The wilted spinach in between the tower of fish and the rice was a very generous portion and the shiitake mushroom topping was just right. I will ask the broth to be on the side when I go back for this dish again!“

“I adore Fresh Kitchen - the best restaurant I've found in the area to eat a gluten/dairy/meat free dinner that is also low in salt! That's because two of the managers know my restrictions and automatically put together a delicious bowl that I can safely eat (rice, chickpeas, kale, red pepper, almond slices, etc) - and it's delicious! Yesterday, I took my bowl home, added fresh sliced peaches and avocado, enough then to split into two meals. It was awesome.“

“We’ve tried this Yard House on I-Drive three times over the past 12 months while on vacation because the location is great, but the food has let us down every visit over the past year. The staff is excellent—attentive and friendly—but the quality from the kitchen just isn’t there. Last night, our salad came out swimming in dressing, the sandwich with truffle fries had cold fries, and the pizza was also served cold. The manager did comp the salad since it was inedible, which we appreciated, but overall we left disappointed and still hungry.
We go to the Yard House near home regularly and the food is always great, so it’s frustrating that this location has been consistently below expectations. Sadly, we’ve learned this one just isn’t for us, even though we love the spot and the service.“

“As always, another phenomenal dinner at Sixty Vines. Popped in for a late night dinner with my best friend, our server was attentive and great to talk with. I sadly do not remember his name. We sat right behind the lounge on 12/13 if this helps to recognize him. We came in for a bottle and shared apps, which were all greatly presented and full of flavor per usual, kudos to the kitchen team.“

“My husband, Al, and I dined at the Chef's Table on Feb 19 2024 and celebrated my birthday. We ordered from the chef's tasting menu and could not have been more pleased. It was one of the best restaurant meals we have had in a very long time. You see I am a classically trained and award-winning chef in my own right so my standards are quite high and I am, more often than not, disappointed in restaurants, even fine dining establishments. Al started with the "Heartbreaker" Cocktail, which was excellent then he had the mushroom and chive crepe torte for an appetizer, exceptional and enough for 2 to share actually so we brought part of it back to the hotel and had it for lunch the next day. He then chose the Duck confit, also outstanding. For dessert he had the chocolate torte with the toasted marshmallow ice cream and caramel sauce, again, beyond delicious and the ice cream was the best thing i've had in my mouth in a long time. Al also did the wine pairing with his courses. I sampled each pairing and they were perfectly matched. I tried the Mr. Pink as an aperitif and loved every drop but the pink peppercorn's stole the show. Then I started with the foie gras. Every bite just brings you to your knees. This was the main reason we selected The Chef's Table to begin with because I had to have foie gras. I chose the filet for my entree and I must say it may have been one of the best filet's i've ever eaten. Cooked perfectly medium rare with a char that was to die for. I brought part of my filet back to the hotel to go with the torte for lunch the next day. Even warmed up it was delicious. For dessert I had the mission fig bread pudding, which had a fantastic texture and was the perfect level of sweetness. I paired the pecan pie martini with it and it was decadent and complimented the dessert perfectly. I did not opt for the wine pairing as a sip of two from Al's were enough for me. Our server, JJ, was attentive, funny, and generous with her time. The manager came by twice to chat with us. The atmosphere was romantic but not stuffy and we had a great view of the kitchen, which as a chef is simply theatre for me. Lastly, the prices were not stupid. This kind of tasting menu can easily run well over $100 pp without the wine pairing. I appreciate the fact that, while affordable, it was elegant and indulgent. “What a great surprise! Amazing food in a clean space with a genuine smile. We weren't even hungry, but we stopped for a bite anyway. I had the yummy, hand-dipped corndog and my husband had the polish sausage with onions & peppers. That crisp bun makes all the difference! You have to try this place. I'll stop here even when I'm not shopping at Bass Pro. Kudos to the owner for going the extra mile on every level.“

“Who-hash was very good, very hot (including the can which we were warned about), but it is very pricy for what it is. We wished there was a way we could save the can, especially for the price to keep as a memento, but it was unfortunately way too gooey to save and haul around.

“We eat here all the time and are always happy with the meal and the atmosphere. But we tried catering for the first time and were completely blown away. The variety of options available was awesome, and the quality of the food was incredible. The service was fantastic, every question I had was answered, and the catering for 75 people was phenomenal. “I have no idea what the people who rated this establishment lower are talking about. The service, food, atmosphere and general ambiance were exceptional. After dining in some of the higher end resort hotels in Disney this Universal treat beats them hands down. Even with the construction maze one has to navigate that may detract a bit one must remember it is not the fault of the restaurant and they more than make up for this slight inconvenience by their service.“

“Backwater Bar is co-located with Confisco restraunt. This is a great place to walk in and get you H2O water or you favorite adult beverage. It is a full service walk up bar with lots of beer, wine, and they can make the liquor drink of your choice. There is no seating inside, but they have shaded seating just outside the door. The staff is friendly and want you to have a nice experience.“

“Bula Bar seemed like a good place to enjoy the pool, watch sports and take a cold drink. On the other hand, the food is not recommended, at high prices and not so good in taste. Regarding service, my waitress was nice but she completely forgot my pizza order and when I ordered something different the food didn't take long but it wasn't what I ordered. The passion fruit smoothie was good and the Piña Colada was one of the best I've ever had.

“Beer was ICE COLD!!! Lots of TVs, place was quiet. Only down fall for me is that it is a smokers bar. Not advertised as one, but can imagine that would slow business. Only 10 customers in the place on a Sunday. 4 of us were not smokers. Otherwise, good place.“

“I've been coming here for years. Servers always try to do their best, though occasionally there aren't enough of them staffed on busy nights. The atmosphere can be a little loud at times and parking can be tough. Food is always good. The great service and strong drinks are what keep me coming back.“

The only gripe I have ever had applies to many restaurants: just because the order was made online, don’t universally assume it should be packaged for carry out. Especially if I walk into the store before my order is fulfilled and explicitly inform a worker that I will be dining in.“

“The newly remodeled restaurant (October 2025) looks and feels very different than its previous incarnation, for the better. It now feels and is higher quality in every way, from the food, to the service received. I would recommend eating here for anyone staying in the resort or in the area.“

“We had a wonderful experience at Confisco Grille. The Ahi Tuna Taco was absolutely delicious and truly unique—the tuna was perfectly seared, well-seasoned, and had just the right kick of heat from the jalapeño. It was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully balanced.

For drinks, we tried the Blackberry Margarita and the Confisco Margarita, and both were excellent. They were very flavorful without being overly sweet, which we really appreciated. Overall, great food and well-crafted drinks—we would definitely come back again.“

“This was really fun and probably some of the best food that you can get inside Universal. Everything is ordered through the app although they do have a counter for anyone who needs assistance. We love the pork belly sandwich as well as the banana dessert. Deep fried cauliflower is also phenomenal. I prefer the tater tots to the chips because the tater tots are well seasoned and not like your typical tot. It's fun, it's clean, it's a little overpriced but that's pretty standard for theme parks... Overall this is something I would recommend especially if you're in Universal studios for the day.“
