On our last visit, I ordered one of the special meals that came with spring rolls. We completely forgot about them when we received our food and sat down. About ten minutes later, one of the gentlemen working there came over to our table in the food court and brought them to us. That level of honesty and customer service is hard to find these days, and it truly meant a lot.

Perfect cuts, zero ragged edges, fish that tastes alive, and knife work that shows restraint instead of ego. Wagyu lands exactly where it should — decadent, but not a blunt instrument. And the handmade pieces (the ones you eat by hand, as they should be) are absurdly good: tight rice, clean seasoning, and toppings that don't bully the fish. The little mats set the vibe — intimate, focused, quietly playful — and the service is all signal, no noise. Just a two-person team slinging it all with calm precision, timing everything, watching the room, and never dropping the thread. If you want safe, boring sushi, go elsewhere. If you want skill, nerve, and genuinely great eating, Norigami is it. What I loved most is the judgement. Every “brave” choice still feels disciplined — no stunt toppings, no sloppy heat, no sweet sauces drowning things. It's umami, texture, temperature: warm rice against cool fish, crisp where you want it, soft fat where it matters. And because it's only two of them, you're not getting conveyor-belt energy. I especially want to shout out the hostesses, Jas and Genesis, who were both incredibly helpful and welcoming from the moment we walked in. They made check-in smooth, answered our questions patiently, and just had really kind, positive energy that set a great tone for the night.

The only downside was an interaction with the manager, Josh, who came across as a bit passive aggressive when we asked about a menu item. It wasn’t anything dramatic, but his tone felt slightly dismissive and it stood out compared to how warm the rest of the staff was.

Stefan was our server and he was excellent!! We ordered new things every time he came to the table and we had our food run out by him and multiple runners so everything was extremely quick!“

“The atmosphere was gorgeous. They also have an outdoor patio area. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, explaining the setup and how it works to order what is right for you. And the food... was not what I imagined at all. It was AMAZING! And beautifully arranged. Every veggie and seafood item was very fresh! I give 5 of 5 stars. I had tempura shrimp, crab salad, extra tempura shrimp, red cabbage, carrots, scallions, and eel sauce. The bowls are $16 a piece, but good size portions. Will definitely go back 100%. I wish I had taken photos before I devoured it. Lol Thank you guys!“

“Absolutely amazing experience at Xsushi. The service from Felipe was exceptional from start to finish. He was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. His recommendations were spot on.

The food was outstanding. The croc tuna was fresh and flavorful, perfectly balanced. The crispy rice had the ideal crunch and richness. Every roll we tried was beautifully presented and incredibly tasty. You can truly tell the quality of the ingredients.

And the matcha tres leches dessert… absolutely delicious. The perfect sweet ending to an already fantastic meal.

“Hands down the best sushi in the area. Particularly if you splurge for some of the pricier shashimi, it is quite the treat! One of the few places I've seen serve uni too, though I think it's not always on the menu. Beautiful interior though the space is a bit cramped. The few times I've done dine-in the service was excellent (I go 2-3 times a month for takeout) and the food quality is always very consistent. I haven't been able to pry myself from the sushi yet to try, but they also have a full habachi menu if that's more your thing.“
