In my opinion this is the best offering for quick service in Volcano Bay it’s also easy to bring the items to your Cabana or other Waturi Beach seating if you don’t use a delivery option. Big downside is the staff is not the best at customer service when compared to the other “magic” within the Universal staffing.“

“We already love Shin Jung, but, sadly, we aren’t there as often as I’d like. The food is fantastic, atmosphere is casual but comfortable and the service is friendly and efficient. I had the Dolsot Bibimbab served in a steaming, sizzling hot pot—beef, mushrooms, sprouts, cucumbers and shredded g carrots and radish. It was delicious on its own but adding the table sauces made it sing. Along with entrees comes a variety of Korean sides as is typical for this cuisine. It included, fish cakes, potato salad, paper thin sliced pickled radish and three Kimchi preparations—classic cabbage, as well as cubes of cucumber and radish. If the food wasn’t enough, our server, Julianna, made our lunch all the more pleasurable with her sweet demeanor and friendly nature. And it wasn’t just us. We watched how she served other diners with the same affable, yet professional treatment. Remember when I said we don’t get there very often? Well, when we walked in, Julianna (without knowing us at all) greeted us like we were regulars coming in for the hundredth time. “My family was visiting from Ohio and found this place. We were very impressed with the service and food. We tried the ribs and pulled pork, with sides of Mac n cheese, baked beans, and fries. Little one got grilled cheese. We have zero complaints. The free donut, cinnamon and sugar, included with your meal was also delicious. Donut was fresh and made in front of you. We also got to meet the owner, who personally came to ask us how the BBQ food we ordered was and provided the orgin of how the idea become reality. Highly recommend a visit!“

“What a wonderful experience! They really know how to make you feel at home. The j*** chicken was superb. I especially enjoyed how tasty the sides were. My favorite was Tomatoes and Okra. “We had lunch at Typhoon Tilly’s today and the food was pretty good with some reasonably nutritious offerings. The service was fairly quick, even with a long line. The atmosphere is sort of like a shack on the beach but in a great way and fun. Good for a quick bite to eat.

“Once you navigate through the various rules associated with the all-you-can-eat menu (explained by the server), be prepared for some awesome Korean/Sushi cuisine! Come hungry to get the most bang for the $50 per person. Our group tried a combination of meats and sushi. I gorged myself on tuna nigiri, which was very good. The meats were also excellent. I particularly liked the marinated sirloin. Salad bar and bread selections were good. Our waiter was attentive, which always makes a big difference.“

“My friend and I have made this spot our new regular KBBQ spot! There are some days where the quality of the meat is not as great as others but 8 times out of 10 it is not an issue. I like that there is a huge variety of side dishes you can order and the portions of meat are not that overwhelming or small. The past few times we've gone, we had Jesse as our server and he's been quick with helping us and super friendly. I also like that the place is usually never crowded and the music/atmosphere is not overwhelming. We'll be back!“

“This Volcano Hot Pot and BBQ was the best our family has been too. The service today was impeccable. The food was fresh. The selection was large and they did not rush us or freeze us out. Even when there were some rude patrons, the team worked together to make sure everyone had what they needed. The sweet tea was not diabetic. The food was flavorful. They did not let our paper burn or our soup burn. This is by far was the best hot pot experience we have had yet!“

“My husband and I decided to get dinner here and it was absolutely delicious. We decided to share the Oak and Star Platter and picked the Smoked Brisket and Roasted Citrus Herb Chicken. We also ordered a side of the fries with pulled pork
and cheese on top. The meal came with a loaf of the mango bread, but we got an extra order [My fault, I didn't
see that it was included!].

Everything tasted so good! The chicken was definitely the star of the dish. It was moist and so flavorful. The mango bread was sweet, but not too sweet. I also really liked the fries
with the pulled pork.

The table has 4 different sauces that you can try with your food and I recommend you try them all. I know that in the future, when I come back to Epic, I will be sure to stop and get a bite from here because the food was excellent. The atmosphere was also nice and while we were there they had a duo up on stage playing some fun little tunes.“

“The food was really good, but a little under-salted. We ordered a lot of skewers at once, and they all came out at the same time, which was our table's mistake. It's probably better to order in small batches, or your skewers will get cold. The servers were nice and able to reheat the skewers for us.“
