“We already love Shin Jung, but, sadly, we aren’t there as often as I’d like. The food is fantastic, atmosphere is casual but comfortable and the service is friendly and efficient. I had the Dolsot Bibimbab served in a steaming, sizzling hot pot—beef, mushrooms, sprouts, cucumbers and shredded g carrots and radish. It was delicious on its own but adding the table sauces made it sing. Along with entrees comes a variety of Korean sides as is typical for this cuisine. It included, fish cakes, potato salad, paper thin sliced pickled radish and three Kimchi preparations—classic cabbage, as well as cubes of cucumber and radish. If the food wasn’t enough, our server, Julianna, made our lunch all the more pleasurable with her sweet demeanor and friendly nature. And it wasn’t just us. We watched how she served other diners with the same affable, yet professional treatment. Remember when I said we don’t get there very often? Well, when we walked in, Julianna (without knowing us at all) greeted us like we were regulars coming in for the hundredth time. “My family was visiting from Ohio and found this place. We were very impressed with the service and food. We tried the ribs and pulled pork, with sides of Mac n cheese, baked beans, and fries. Little one got grilled cheese. We have zero complaints. The free donut, cinnamon and sugar, included with your meal was also delicious. Donut was fresh and made in front of you. We also got to meet the owner, who personally came to ask us how the BBQ food we ordered was and provided the orgin of how the idea become reality. Highly recommend a visit!“

“Such an amazing place. We were starving after a long day at universal, and very quickly found something close to our hotel with not much thought into what we were wanting. We walked in and immediately loved the decor, music, and menu. With 3 teenage boys and a picky husband, finding a place we all love is tough. Mission BBQ was definitely a hit for our entire crew. We plan on stopping by again before heading back to Oklahoma.“

“Had a delicious lunch today for my birthday at Smokemade Meats and Eats. You will find this restaurant right off of Crystal Lake in an old Pizza Hut building. When you walk in, simple tables and chairs, a menu written on brown paper taped to the glass blocking the food, a corner area with paper plates, plastic cutlery, igloo with water and take out containers. There are also some picnic benches outside. The table ordered one brisket sandwich, one pulled pork sandwich, half pound brisket, medium mac and cheese, medium potato salad and banana pudding. There were two types of barbecue sauce on the table. One was a spicier vinegar and the other was a sweeter mustard. My husband would have really liked the vinegar base but it had no thickness like traditional sauce. We ended up using the sweeter mustard. It was good. The sliced brisket needed no sauce. It had an amazing bark, it was moist and tasty. The pulled pork and brisket sandwiches were equally good. A huge stand out was the amazing macaroni and cheese. I took a bite and said "oh, this is delicious". I really liked the potato salad as well but it is more of a sour cream base with dill versus a mustard or mayonnaise based salad. Both of the side items were made fresh in-house. I could literally come just for the sides. I really wanted to try the zucchini and tomato salad but we didn't get it this time. Oh, the sliced bread that comes when you buy a half pound was really soft and good. It was not that traditional Wonder bread that some places throw on the tray. The banana pudding ended the meal. I did not try it but heard it was good. We were greeted enthusiastically and everyone was friendly. Enjoy!“

“Just called Rivers Lakeland to place a pick up order. Man answered the phone. Stated they don't take orders by phone have to do online. Told him I tried that wouldn't work. Said that's how they do take out. I've been going to 4 Rivers for years. Was ordering for six people over $100. Told him I'll find some place else to order from. Won't be back.“

“Once you navigate through the various rules associated with the all-you-can-eat menu (explained by the server), be prepared for some awesome Korean/Sushi cuisine! Come hungry to get the most bang for the $50 per person. Our group tried a combination of meats and sushi. I gorged myself on tuna nigiri, which was very good. The meats were also excellent. I particularly liked the marinated sirloin. Salad bar and bread selections were good. Our waiter was attentive, which always makes a big difference.“

Jessica not only knew enough product information to know exactly what I was talking about, but called two different restaurants to check if they could make it for me. Simple.It can look intimidating to some people, but I'm into that sort of thing. Feels authentic. Sometimes you have to take risks to get the best reward.Best cha siu I've had.“

“This Volcano Hot Pot and BBQ was the best our family has been too. The service today was impeccable. The food was fresh. The selection was large and they did not rush us or freeze us out. Even when there were some rude patrons, the team worked together to make sure everyone had what they needed. The sweet tea was not diabetic. The food was flavorful. They did not let our paper burn or our soup burn. This is by far was the best hot pot experience we have had yet!“

There were 4 just standing around talking and laughing. Becky seemed to be the one directing this area. My interaction with her left me feeling as though she didnt have time for us and not any kind of priority whatsoever. I could see x5 empty booths, AND the 4 of them were in no hurry to seat people. Our waitress was courteous. We ordered drink and food. Now I will say, the food literally came out the fastest I have ever seen! The downside you ask....well I ordered Blackened mahi...and it was literally room temperature..which says only 1 thing, its premade and sitting waiting for an order. It also didnt appear as if it was acrually mahi, instead of a white appearance it had a light brown tone. The wife ordered pulled pork, and was very dry, also leading me to believe it had been sitting for quite a while. Overall the lukewarm food and cold customer interaction left this place with a solid F in my book. I will say the atmosphere is the only thing good about this establishment. “An unusual location for a restaurant inside an almost abandoned strip mall, but going inside it looks like a Korean bar with the round metal tables. Their menu has some dishes that aren't commonly found. The best dish we tried was the LA galbi. The bibimbap and spicy naengmyeon were just ok. The service was great, prices were very reasonable for generous portions, and the nice ahjumma gave us barley tea. I'd come back to try more dishes.“
