Everything was delicious! The big eye tuna roll, was definitely a favorite, along with the shishito peppers and the short rib bao. When a restaurant offers great pricing along with a robust menu and a variety of options, it's definitely worth checking out.“

“We had an absolutely amazing dinner here. Unassuming, intimate restaurant that easily accommodated our party of five. I asked for the vegan box listed on the menu, but was told they did not have all the ingredients to make the usual dishes, so the chef Kevin created a menu just for me. He was so creative, inventive, and excited about every dish he brought out of the kitchen, and each one was more delicious than the last. I am technically pescatarian, so a few of the dishes had fish sauce, but he would have easily accommodated me with a vegan or vegetarian menu as well. It was honestly one of the most incredible dining experiences I have ever had. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Miami/ Coral Gables area.“

I got to the Homestead store and of course my order was not there. Well I called back and explained and asked what coul I do . IO was like let me speak to my Manager. “Absolutely incredible—I don’t even know where to start! I came in Friday for lunch with two colleagues, and we were all blown away. The service, the food, and even the prices are unmatched—almost too good to be true.
I ordered the Black Tonkatsu, which was marvelous. The egg was perfectly soft and yolky, just how I love it. I also tried the gyoza (good, though nothing special), but the spicy mayo onigiri was remarkable. One bite and I felt transported back to a chilly Friday night in a little alleyway in Japan—pure nostalgia. This food is authentic, and it shows.
They even offer shaved ice! Sadly, I didn’t have the space (or time) to try it this visit, but there will definitely be a next time, and I’ll be saving room.
The vibe and aesthetic of the restaurant are small, cozy, and authentically Japanese. Service was just as outstanding—Marco was fantastic and made the experience even better.

“Had an amazing casual dinner here. Ordered the seafood suviche + aji Amarillo ceviche, the bang bang shrimp and the Miami Sushi Roll. All were 5/5. Fresh, full of flavour, quality ingredients, right size and right price.
Service was perfect. Tina was a real advocate for their food, knew what to recommend, checked on us and made us feel welcomed.
Next time visiting Miami will come back to one of their locations for sure.“

“I've been meaning to try Sushi Corner after reading many reviews about how tasty and affordable this restaurant is, finding all these reviews to be completely true! This hole in the wall gem of West Kendall is well worth your time to try! I came in with my boyfriend last night to their small no frills location and was immediately greeted by our server who was very attentive throughout our whole meal. It's true that they do serve everything using plastic ware which to me doesn't matter at all. I care about the quality of food and the food is definitely top notch! My boyfriend and I decided to order various menu items to share. I started with a hot bowl of Miso Soup $2 which was good; loved the portion which I felt was more than most places. Next we had the Rainbow Roll $10 (California roll topped w/various fish) which was glaringly fresh and came out beautifully. The Sexy Roll $10 (fish tempura, avocado, cilantro, jalapeño, rolled w/soy paper, tempura flakes, eel sauce, spicy mayo) was by far my favorite just because of all the incredible flavors in it. The Florida Roll $9 (spicy conch, cucumber, masago) definitely surprised me with its spice level and amount of conch within it. Lastly, we ordered the Sushi Corner Fried Rice $8 (chicken, shrimp, vegetables, and masago) which ultimately surprised me in portion and tastiness. The fried rice isn't over done with soy sauce so it remains tasting light though its also savory because of a smoky flavor. So tasty! Can't wait to try your other roles and highly recommend to anyone in the area as I think they also deliver!“

“I had such a wonderful experience at Sushi Maki thanks to our server, Mateo! From the moment we sat down, she made us feel welcome with her friendly personality and genuine attentiveness. She was knowledgeable about the menu, gave great recommendations (the sushi rolls she suggested were absolutely delicious), and made sure everything came out perfectly timed.

What stood out most was how attentive she was without being overbearing—always checking in at the right moments and making sure our drinks were never empty. Mateo’s professionalism and warm attitude really elevated the dining experience and made the night feel special.

“This has not been my first time dining at sushi Maki in Dadeland. I actually go quite often and take my parents with me. Today is my parents 58th wedding anniversary and they both wanted to go to sushi maki to celebrate for lunch. As always we were greeted with friendly hand waves. Leo was our waiter and gave us the incredible service that we are used to. We told him we were there to celebrate my parents anniversary and at the end of our meal he brought out an assortment of dessert treats on the house. I will say it again this is the best sushi maki with the best employees and the best service! Thank you Leo for making it so special.“

“Hidden gem in the Crossings area of Kendall Lakes. We came here from Colombian food but saw this nice restaurant and had Peruvian/Japanese cuisine.

The seafood was delicious. We have had lots of Lomos but this lomo a caballo was one of the best we have had in south Florida. Price and service was very nice as well.“
