The service was friendly and with an ok speed for pickup considerin there were many orders from 3Ps. Atmosphere is fine for a non-commercial area so could be an option to consider when looking for something more low key.“

“We had an excellent experience at Sushi by Scratch! The quality of fish was premium and we enjoyed the sake pairings immensely curated by the sommelier. 17 courses of deliciousness with a variety of flavors. We left with full tummies and a smile on our faces.
We loved the darker, intimate vibe, and music. We really felt as if we were dining in secret! The experience is what you make of it, so I’d recommend interacting with the other diners and the lovely chefs and sommelier. We learned interesting facts about their crafts simply by asking the team who seemed happy to share. The welcome hostess was also incredibly inviting.

I asked for the vegan box listed on the menu, but was told they did not have all the ingredients to make the usual dishes, so the chef Kevin created a menu just for me. He was so creative, inventive, and excited about every dish he brought out of the kitchen, and each one was more delicious than the last. I am technically pescatarian, so a few of the dishes had fish sauce, but he would have easily accommodated me with a vegan or vegetarian menu as well. I got to the Homestead store and of course my order was not there. Well I called back and explained and asked what coul I do . IO was like let me speak to my Manager. “I've been meaning to try Sushi Corner after reading many reviews about how tasty and affordable this restaurant is, finding all these reviews to be completely true! This hole in the wall gem of West Kendall is well worth your time to try! I came in with my boyfriend last night to their small no frills location and was immediately greeted by our server who was very attentive throughout our whole meal. It's true that they do serve everything using plastic ware which to me doesn't matter at all. I care about the quality of food and the food is definitely top notch! My boyfriend and I decided to order various menu items to share. I started with a hot bowl of Miso Soup $2 which was good; loved the portion which I felt was more than most places. Next we had the Rainbow Roll $10 (California roll topped w/various fish) which was glaringly fresh and came out beautifully. The Sexy Roll $10 (fish tempura, avocado, cilantro, jalapeño, rolled w/soy paper, tempura flakes, eel sauce, spicy mayo) was by far my favorite just because of all the incredible flavors in it. The Florida Roll $9 (spicy conch, cucumber, masago) definitely surprised me with its spice level and amount of conch within it. Lastly, we ordered the Sushi Corner Fried Rice $8 (chicken, shrimp, vegetables, and masago) which ultimately surprised me in portion and tastiness. The fried rice isn't over done with soy sauce so it remains tasting light though its also savory because of a smoky flavor. So tasty! Can't wait to try your other roles and highly recommend to anyone in the area as I think they also deliver!“

“This has not been my first time dining at sushi Maki in Dadeland. I actually go quite often and take my parents with me. Today is my parents 58th wedding anniversary and they both wanted to go to sushi maki to celebrate for lunch. As always we were greeted with friendly hand waves. Leo was our waiter and gave us the incredible service that we are used to. We told him we were there to celebrate my parents anniversary and at the end of our meal he brought out an assortment of dessert treats on the house. “There are not enough words to express how delicious this restaurant tastes, the food is exquisite and the most important thing is how they pamper you. Their dishes come presented in a certain way, but they prepare it the way you want. I ordered some tostones with shrimp in sauce. The macho thing was that I ordered the shrimp separately and so they brought them to the attention of Margarita, my waitress was excellent, very attentive, pleasant, smiling and made me feel at home thanks to the chef, she is very special, I recommend them to the ?“
