We both ordered shrimp and scallops coleslaw hush puppies along with our fried calamari appetizer. Our food was one of the best we've had in and around Bradenton/Sarasota. The atmosphere was perfect and service was the best. I cant wait to go back.“

“Absolutely one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. This small, family-owned restaurant won my heart within seconds of walking through the door. My friends and I were visiting from out of town and happened to stumble upon this place while looking for somewhere to eat. We didn’t even realize until after being seated that we had arrived only about 30 minutes before closing. Not once did they make us feel rushed or like an inconvenience — quite the opposite. Pane e Amore is a truly authentic, family-owned Italian restaurant. The menu is simple yet unique, and every single thing we tried — from drinks to dessert — was incredible. We enjoyed the red blend wine, beer, and the pasta of the day: an Italian sausage spaghetti in a white sauce, made completely from scratch, right down to the noodles. It tasted like real Italian food and genuinely made us feel as though we were sitting in the heart of Italy. While our entrées were being prepared, we were served bruschetta that was crisp, light, and perfectly cooked — not overly hard like it often is elsewhere. We finished with a dessert that was equally light and delicious. The service was unmatched. Every interaction was genuine, heartfelt, and full of care. We were treated like family, and in the short time we were there, it felt like visiting relatives in Italy for the holidays. Five stars simply isn’t enough — this place deserves a ten. “My wife and I came to the Ellenton area on our honeymoon. Her local family reccomended we check out Woodys River Roo. It was our first stop and the only repeat stop during our week down here. We went to "The Roo" on three separate occasions and loved each one. The food was great, the view of the manatee river was very nice, but the friendly hardworking staff was the cherry on top. They all really seemed to love each other and worked together like a well oiled machine. They made us feel right at home and made sure everything was just right. Bar tender Johnny, who I belive said had been employed there for 15 years, reccomended a lot of other great places to drink and dine in the area. They also have a gift shop and live entertainment from, music to trivia 7 days a week! 10 out of 10 would reccomend. My wife and I hope to be back sooner than later!“

“Back Alley is my favorite shop at my favorite beach. Its usually an every day stop while we're staying on the island. The coffee is always fantastic and I find the best souvenirs there. I especially love drinking coffee from my Back Alley Insulated cup at home because it reminds me of my happy place when I cant be there. Today was a fantastic day because I got to visit Back Alley! It was our first time in since all the storm damage and the place looks even more beautiful than it did before!“

They’re currently running a great deal—$20 for 25 coins, and each coin is worth $1. It’s a fun and budget-friendly way to treat the whole family. In addition to snoballs, they also offer other frozen treats and ice cream options, so there’s something for everyone.

“We found this little coffee shop on our way to Myakka State Park. I don’t drink coffee, but my daughter does. The reviews were great so we stopped by. It’s super cute inside and they also have seating outside. There is also a water bowl outside, filled with water, for your furry friends if you brought them with you. We don’t remember what my daughter ordered, but she asked what they recommended for a first time visitor. She said it was really good. If you like coffee, give it a try and don’t forget to get your sticker if you collect them from different coffee shops like my kids do lol. Parking seemed a little challenging, as we found ourselves on the backside of the building in what seemed to be a hotel garage parking lot. But that might just be us, as we were unfamiliar with the area.“

“We booked sun coast cuisine for an intimate dinner for our girls trip. We did a seafood tapas menu and Melissa was pleasure to work with. She helped customized a menu over the phone prior to the trip and created an amazing menu. This was the best meal I had in Anna Maria and in my whole life. She is an amazing chef and genuine hostess! Save yourself the hassle of going out to eat and book her. The Spanish octopus was incredible. We also enjoyed the ceviche, tuna and grouper bites. Every bite was delicious! I can't wait to come back and have another dinner experience with her. She also left the kitchen spotless when she was done. She is a culinary fairy!“
