“My friend and I went on Saturday night. We both had a drink and ordered appetizer while looking at the menu. Our waiter was right there with our hot appetizer within minutes. We both ordered shrimp and scallops coleslaw hush puppies along with our fried calamari appetizer. Our food was one of the best we've had in and around Bradenton/Sarasota. The atmosphere was perfect and service was the best. I cant wait to go back.“

“We went to the 11th annual Bradenton Area River Regatta, on the Manatee River, featuring Formula 1 powerboat racing, Formula Lights, and Tri-Hulls. The free event includes racing action from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with championship finals starting at 2:15 p.m. Afterwards we had dinner at one of our favorite spots for delicious food & drinks. We had their Regatta rum punch to celebrate the event. We both had fish & chips too. Delicious.

My friends and I were visiting from out of town and happened to stumble upon this place while looking for somewhere to eat. We didn’t even realize until after being seated that we had arrived only about 30 minutes before closing. Not once did they make us feel rushed or like an inconvenience — quite the opposite. Pane e Amore is a truly authentic, family-owned Italian restaurant. The menu is simple yet unique, and every single thing we tried — from drinks to dessert — was incredible. We enjoyed the red blend wine, beer, and the pasta of the day: an Italian sausage spaghetti in a white sauce, made completely from scratch, right down to the noodles. “I had a health concern happen while I was entertaining myself and the locals with some guitar music, good conversation and lots of pool games. I got dehydrated and the paranoia set in hard. Luckily these folks are good people and all my belongings were kept, safely. When I got well and was able to retrieve them. I was well cared for and never made to feel unwelcome though I’m afraid I might have made a fool of myself. Maybe again some day without the dehydration? I hope so!“
