My husband's chili came as an emptied cup that looked like food was previously stored in and dumped out. Not to mention myself and my grandmother ordered medium steaks and they came BURNT. My grandma actually indicated that she thinks the steak that she ordered SMELLED!!. Mine was supposed to be the chimichuri entree and i dont even know what i received? When my husband returned to the restaurant, the manager was rude and acted as if the situation did no warrant a full refund and indicated "it's only food"!!! As a local business owner, I do everything I can to solve issues so it does not come down to leaving a negative review as I know how negativity impactful it can be to a company. However, we spent $150 on dinner, received completely inexcusable food, and was pretty much told it's not a big deal".”

“Tokyo has very good and fresh food. My second visit there was today at lunchtime. I ordered sushi because sashimi was not available on the lunch menu. Why, I don't understand. So I ate the fish and left the rice. I was reprimanded by the server that I couldn't do that!! Really!!! I still would have liked to order more sushi but did not because I did not want to eat all the rice. I don't like rice that much, that is why I just order sashimi. I still can't believe that I was reprimanded for not eating my rice. I felt like I was being treated like a little kid! I'm 67 years old! I don't have to eat my rice if I don't want to!😋”

“As much as I'd like to keep this place a secret, the owner and staff deserve big business. Was sad when the menu got limited because if "supply chain issues" because they made the best chicken Philly in PC. Still, the steak Philly is incredible and I have yet to eat anything off the menu I wouldn't have again. The bartenders are great, the regulars keep it fun.”

Not only is the ice cream incredible, but this time we tried the brownie sundae and the brownie is amazing 🤤 BUT the best part about this place is how incredibly friendly their staff are. Both times we visited were late at night, just before closing, because we had that late night craving for something sweet, and both times we were met with nothing but friendly smiles and willingness to give us samples and time to choose our flavors. We did not feel rushed in any way, and they made us feel as though they appreciated us being there just as much as we appreciated them still being open for us. We will definitely be returning.”

“Gatorz Bar & Grill Port Charlotte Stopped by here on a Sunday afternoon around 4 ish. We sat on the outside patio area. They had some good live music playing which we enjoyed. They also have a bar and plenty of tables out there. One thing to note they do allow smoking in this area. I have to mention I was pleasantly surprised at how good their food was. Our waitress Hannah was on the ball with taking our drink and food orders. I ordered a Beer and the Mushroom Bacon Swiss Burger with Coleslaw. My wife ordered the Grilled Blackened Fish, Fries and Coleslaw. My Beer was cold, and my Bacon Swiss Burger was the best Burger I had in this area in a long while. My wife’s Fish area amazing. It was done to perfection and the Blackened Seasoning took it to the next level. The Seasoned Fries were very good as was the Coleslaw. The only problem we had was Hannah forgot my coleslaw. “We went to McAllister’s Deli for dinner and a guy was complaining about his food. The General Manager was at his table being very nice but nothing he said was good enough for this guy. A woman sitting at another table told him to take his stuff and leave if he’s that unhappy. He said I’m not talking to you, why don’t you mind your own business. She said why don’t you shut up. Then another guy walking out says you need to get your things and get out of here! I started applauding and others joined in. It was a great show of support for the manager and employees. The complainer then became the victim and told the manager “you don’t know what I’ve been through” and the poor manager was still nice as could be. I found out the guy had gotten his sandwich for free because he used rewards points from the app and he brought it back up three different times before complaining to the GM. After all of that, he ate his entire sandwich and left. My husband and I had different sandwiches and they were awesome! The service was great too! I definitely recommend the good and the service at this location. We’ve been a few times and everything has been great every single time.”

(It wasn’t a big deal to us as it was later in the night… it happens). He came up to our table to verify which tea and then he made a fresh batch. We watched him check on tables and refill drinks. “Cody’s Original Roadhouse Port Charlotte This place is in Port Charlotte Town Center Mall. It looks cool from the outside and even cooler on the inside. We got there on a Thursday night about 5ish. This place was hopping with a lot of people. It was neat and clean, and I loved the interior decorations. Our waitress Brenda was on the ball with our drink, our food orders, and any questions we had because of our first time there. I got a beer, and my wife got a Pina Colada, both were cold and very good. I ordered the 1lb Prime Rib med well with a side of Mashed Potatoes. My wife ordered the Filet Mignon wrapped in Bacon with a side of Baked Sweet Potato in Cinnamon Butter. For an appetizer I ordered the half stick of Jumbo Onion Rings on a stick. Brenda stated she would bring out warm Rolls with Cinnamon Butter and a bowl of Salad that she would mix for the both of us right at the table. Our Onion Rings were very good and very large. The Salad she mixed and served on cold plates it was so good. When our Steaks came out, they looked amazing. Both are steaks were done perfect and they were so good. We could practically cut them with a butter knife they were that tender. Our side of Mashed Potatoes and the Sweet Potato was also very good. All our food was hot and flavorful. Brenda kept checking on us to make sure everything was perfect even a manager stopped by and asked us how the food was. Our food was some of the best we had in this area in fact the entire experience was one of the best yet. Special thanks out to Brenda for such excellent service and the good vibe of this place. They do run Specials everyday on food and drinks you just have to check. I must give this place 5 out of 5 stars because of the great experience we had there. “I came to the restaurant about 9pm tonight I ordered chicken strips. Got up to the window was greeted promptly and told my food would be out in a minute. Then a young lady came over and said I’m so sorry unfortunately we are out of the strips would nuggets be ok. I said absolutely that’s fine got home had so many nuggets and a chocolate chip cookie in my bag as a sorry gift. Absolutely delicious and amazing customer service. So many nuggets left over. “I don’t know how people can complain about the food. Especially this place. Always yummy and cooked well. There was one time we went and they served the wrong dish. Once. But I’ve been here many many times. Decided to finally leave a good review. I always get the sweet and sour chicken and rice, general chicken and rice, wonton soup, egg rolls, and/or other things randomly sometimes. Always good food. And I’ve never been sick eating from here. The food is served hot, so hot when I get home I gotta blow on it for a short bit, So never cold. The food is always filled to the brim of the take out dish. Well worth the price in my opinion since I usually stuff myself and still need to put left overs in the fridge. Cashiers are always nice and never wrong with the spare change. This is the only and best Chinese food in the area in my opinion. Highly recommend ordering out from here. 10/10”
