My husband's chili came as an emptied cup that looked like food was previously stored in and dumped out. Not to mention myself and my grandmother ordered medium steaks and they came BURNT. My grandma actually indicated that she thinks the steak that she ordered SMELLED!!. Mine was supposed to be the chimichuri entree and i dont even know what i received? When my husband returned to the restaurant, the manager was rude and acted as if the situation did no warrant a full refund and indicated "it's only food"!!! As a local business owner, I do everything I can to solve issues so it does not come down to leaving a negative review as I know how negativity impactful it can be to a company. However, we spent $150 on dinner, received completely inexcusable food, and was pretty much told it's not a big deal".”

“Me and my decided to eat at Skillets for breakfast after Blood tests. It is a beautiful looking wraparound restaurant with chairs and tables outside if you want to eat. As you walk in the hostess station is up front about 4 or 5 feet away it has a desk with a register, where after you are done eating you can either go to the register or waitress has a phone with card swiping ability. The interior is unique nicely designed with unique art and decor, the atmosphere is like your at a farm house and you where invited as a guest to have a farm fresh breakfast. Interior there is alot of tables and booth seating. This day it was not busy but it varies depending on the time and day!!! Waitress was very nice we just sat down and waitress an if we wanted coffee and me and mom said “Yes” it took 5 minutes for the coffee made fresh !! I like cream with my coffee, tables do have (salt, pepper shaker, ketchup and hot sauce and jelly with a bunch of cream)!! I ordered their Potato Pancakes with (2) eggs Sunny side up with (2) slices of thick bacon delicious!!! and cinnamon with apple slices and side of sour cream. I poured ketchup and hot sauce and it was very delicious!! I haven’t had potato pancakes in a very long time !! Excellent coffee as well !!! My mom ordered Avocado toast on a multigrain toast with avocado spread with scrambled eggs with tomato cut in cubes with hash browns and with coffee as well !! It took 10-15 minutes for our order to come to the table!!We both enjoyed our breakfast and we did like the menu!! I would try it !! It does get busy on Sundays have to wait 2-3 hrs and large lines!!!”

“We have lived here for 7 years and never heard of Ichiban. The decor is nice and the restaurant is clean.
They seated us at a table and didnt come back for 6 minutes to get our drinks order. The chef did a nice job fixing the food. It was good.
It is hibachi so it is expensive.
Someone who works there or owns it had her two young boys there and they were a bit disruptive.
She kept trying to quiet them but they are young boys.
I felt sorry for the couple that was seated next to them.
It was our first experience so we do plan to give it a second try.”

The waitresses worked together and kept food and drinks moving. The management team was meeting at the big table beside me. It was exciting to hear them planning positive customer experiences for the coming holidays. The company has made notable improvements with a return to high food quality and large portions. We ordered our donuts and talked about the variety of food and coffee options. I brought the box home & my older children devoured the treats. The donuts were fresh and the flavors were amazing. “I have been dissatisfied with every single pizza I've had in Florida until going to Gina's. The crust is amazing! Crispy, flakey with flavor not flimsy or hard, burnt on the edges. Service by Diane was top notch! After 6 years full time in Punta Gorda we have finally found our go to pizza place. We did order bruschetta, zucchini fries and focaccia as our appetizers, again wonderful. All our food was hot and fresh. We will be back often and getting take out for the rest of football season. Very clean restaurant and a full bar.”

“My recommendation is the Smooth 7. It was sooooo good. It’s a hot Irish Breve with white Mocha!!!! It’s addictive. I drove a long while to get here and have no regrets. Service is quick. There are two drive thrus. Of course they have a variety of hot, cold, blended coffee and other drinks, but on a cold Florida day I desperately needed a hot drink. This place is buzzing. The only issue I encountered was leaving the drive thru and trying to line up at the traffic lights to get back unto 41 in Port Charlotte.”

“Gatorz Bar & Grill Port Charlotte Stopped by here on a Sunday afternoon around 4 ish. We sat on the outside patio area. They had some good live music playing which we enjoyed. They also have a bar and plenty of tables out there. One thing to note they do allow smoking in this area. I have to mention I was pleasantly surprised at how good their food was. Our waitress Hannah was on the ball with taking our drink and food orders. I ordered a Beer and the Mushroom Bacon Swiss Burger with Coleslaw. My wife ordered the Grilled Blackened Fish, Fries and Coleslaw. My Beer was cold, and my Bacon Swiss Burger was the best Burger I had in this area in a long while. My wife’s Fish area amazing. It was done to perfection and the Blackened Seasoning took it to the next level. The Seasoned Fries were very good as was the Coleslaw. The only problem we had was Hannah forgot my coleslaw. “We went to McAllister’s Deli for dinner and a guy was complaining about his food. The General Manager was at his table being very nice but nothing he said was good enough for this guy. A woman sitting at another table told him to take his stuff and leave if he’s that unhappy. He said I’m not talking to you, why don’t you mind your own business. She said why don’t you shut up. Then another guy walking out says you need to get your things and get out of here! I started applauding and others joined in. It was a great show of support for the manager and employees. The complainer then became the victim and told the manager “you don’t know what I’ve been through” and the poor manager was still nice as could be. I found out the guy had gotten his sandwich for free because he used rewards points from the app and he brought it back up three different times before complaining to the GM. After all of that, he ate his entire sandwich and left. My husband and I had different sandwiches and they were awesome! The service was great too! I definitely recommend the good and the service at this location. We’ve been a few times and everything has been great every single time.”

“I had such a great experience at Sunseekers Spa! I was gifted an 80-minute massage from my husband, Scott and son, Owen and it was amazing, super relaxing but also exactly what I needed to work out the tension. My massage therapist was so kind and really paid attention to what I asked for, which made the whole session feel personalized.

Afterwards I hung out by the pool, which was the perfect way to keep the relaxation going. The whole vibe was calm and peaceful, and it honestly felt like a mini getaway.

Was sad when the menu got limited because if "supply chain issues" because they made the best chicken Philly in PC. Still, the steak Philly is incredible and I have yet to eat anything off the menu I wouldn't have again. The bartenders are great, the regulars keep it fun.”

“I have never been treated to such great customer service in my life. To start there was this lady yelling at this manager in a black shirt. I later found out his name was Chris. She was beyond a Karen and the way he handeled her astonished me. She threw something at him and everything and he never said a cross word to her. He made she all the customers including her were happy. I wanted to hire this guy for my business because you don’t find good customer service these days. “This is the best Mexican food that I have had in Florida, rivaling top places in Houston and Southern California, Mexico City, and Merida. We started with the tableside-made guac; it was perfect. \n\nI had fish tacos. The fish was perfectly cooked with a little char and was topped with lettuce, tomato, and sauce. It was one of the best fish tacos that I have ever eaten. My date had a beef burrito; she said that it was very good.\n\nPortions were generous. The cost was reasonable for the quality of the food. Service was prompt and friendly. I highly recommend.”

“I came to the restaurant about 9pm tonight I ordered chicken strips. Got up to the window was greeted promptly and told my food would be out in a minute. Then a young lady came over and said I’m so sorry unfortunately we are out of the strips would nuggets be ok. I said absolutely that’s fine got home had so many nuggets and a chocolate chip cookie in my bag as a sorry gift. Absolutely delicious and amazing customer service. So many nuggets left over. “Me and my mom visit here we both got Italian subs on wheat bread was delicious hot and fresh combo with brownies flaky, chewy, and moist and soft drinks was strong cold and good my favorite part you can pick any flavor on the machine and also used the bathroom before we left very clean atmosphere oh my goodness customer service was A1 top tier It was the same way my Mom used to take me years ago when I was a little girl in Palm beach but I love the port charlotte location it’s local for me family friendly you can either take out dine in take out or delivery”

“Stopped by for a quick meal while traveling, the chili cheese dogs were delicious, and the pretzel sticks were too. Food was good, hot and the staff very friendly. I would have rather had a burger but they don't sell them there. They have a 2 for 5.00 menu too. Restroom was pretty clean and it's next to a gas station which worked good for a quick pit stop.”

If you review my profile you will see I'm a local reviewer, not paid but consistent & honest. I've been eating off and on at this location for five years. The first year was terrible but I had actually made a call to corporate and they cleaned up the third shift (they kept burning the chicken black) which was when I had been going.

Since then I've not had a single bad experience or messed up order. Typically I go through the drive thru using their app.

At this location Ive found that the burgers are better than Wendy's & Culvers. Which is a surprise because to beat Wendy's is a hard one for me.

Do not believe the poor reviews you've seen from others, give this location a chance for yourself and see. Ive also always had friendly service.

As far as wait times I've never had to wait. I place my order in the app when I arrive in their parking lot and than immediately go thru the line.
