Chicken tenders *crunchy, juicy, filling. For an appetizer it was enough to fill me for lunch. Mary was our server and she did a fantastic job. Mom and I had Doc's for lunch and have leftovers to enjoy for later and will be back again!“

My dad really enjoyed his ahi tuna entree, and my brother said it may now be one of his favorite restaurants in Fort Myers. We will definitely be back, and will be bringing friends!“

We loved the breeze, boats going by, superb clam chowder, pizza and music. Great service by our waitress. Glad to be back on Matlache. Parking is tricky. We got there early. “They offer a very varied selection of typical Cuban dishes, cakes, sweets and food. I have visited this place since it opened its doors and it was only half the size it is now... and it is understood that with time and inflation the prices have had to increase but it is already somewhat exaggerated... some things have increased 200% in price. price. Currently I rarely go for this reason and I know many people who agree with me and are no longer regular customers.“

Their authentic gumbo and creole jambalaya will warm your heart. If you happen to want an even warmer heart, you can up the heat with the ghost pepper version. You will encounter some great cooks and some attentive servers who will make your visits habit-forming!“

“Well for starters the escargot, raw oysters, and oysters Rockefeller were out of this world. Both the red and white clam chowder were like perfection in a bowl. My entrée was the baked stuffed shrimp and hands down AMAZING. Our waitress was YO and she knew everything about the history of the restaurant to the menu. I was very interested in the collection of oyster shells on the walls and she explained that as well. TEN STARS !!! I recommend to anyone who loves fresh seafood and visits Sanibel Island.“

“A nice location that I visited while visiting the gulf coast. Food was decent, drinks were cold, and overall a pleasurable experience. Visited by boat and had plenty of dock space. Walked up to bar area where we ordered drinks and started tab and walked up to a table to sit for lunch. While we got out food, ended up walking up to bar for another drink. While this part falls on me, did not pay close attention to the bill and realized they tagged on a service fee, which was essentially the tip. I generously tipped on the total balance, not realizing tip was included. Once back at home, attempted to contact the location and never heard back. While it clearly falls on me, think it is crappy when locations tag on service fees for small groups. Mix in a few cocktails, and pretty sure I'm not the only person who fell for this. Don't mind paying island pricing, however the added service charge is annoying especially when you are pretty much expected to walk up to bar and order your drinks. guess the servers had a good tip day. would probably go back, but would be more attentive to the tip surcharge.“

Although on a much larger scale, it reminded me of the old Outrigger Tiki Bar before Hurricane Ian tore it down.“

“I was disappointed that the hostess and server where unaware and did not care about the information provided through open table when I made my reservation. I was offered the choice of inside or outside. I selected outside and when I arrived she tried to sit us inside. She then acted like it was a chore to set us up outside. There is also an option to select a special occasion. I selected birthday. There was not a mention of my birthday. Just sad and disappointing when you are asked and there is no acknowledgement. I also don't understand why the server packed up the appetizer and then just set boxes in the table for entrees. It was uncomfortable. My mother is 80. I'm not telling her she can't take her leftovers. So I boxed them up. We love Tween and have been celebrating my birthday there for 7 years (- the hurricane interruptions). The people and service has always been great. I just feel there is a disconnect with this app. Or something“

“Parking was terrible, it's a small lot and no marked spaces so cars were spread out just enough so others couldn't fit. Found parking our 2nd time trying to go. The food was good and so was the service. The live music was very good.“

The Mullett 3 ways appetizer was incredible. The coconut encrusted mahi with pina colada rice (and don’t even get me started on the crispy scallions!) was DEVINE. To finish off with the PERFECT key lime pie was just…well, perfect! We love Blue Dog, can’t recommend enough and can’t wait to go back and truly ask for Kelci; so on it, so sweet, no rushing, helpful etc. everything positive!“

“We were greeted by Diva in the gift shop, then our hostess who gave us a beautiful water view. Our server was Erica, and her name tag said she was originally from Port Huron, MI which immediately set the positive mood since three of our party of four had Michigan ties. One of our party just casually mentioned we were celebrating when asked what brought us to Rumrunners. \n\nErica did an awesome job of explaining the special catch of the day as well as describing other dishes which she had sampled during her three months of working at Rumrunners. All were as she described and all were delicious. Some of us ordered dessert and then were pleasantly surprised when Erica also brought a wonderful piece of chocolate cake (complimentary of course) to celebrate our special occasions which she had remembered hearing about. All in all she made it a wonderful evening. \n\nThen as we headed out, my husband wanted to look at the Rumrunners logo shirts and we were re-greeted by Diva at the gift shop. What a fun spirit with her British accent, her perseverance in finding just the right shirt, and sealing the deal with a free coozie AND a couple hilarious jokes 😄. We smiled all the way to our car and these two employees made our evening very special. Thank you both.“

“Our beach wedding was torrential downpour rained out 😭. Robin to the rescue! She pulled it all together and we were able to gather everyone and do our vows in the loft where our reception was scheduled to be!!! It was perfect and the food and service was amazing! “This the Classic French restaurant you’re going to share with good friends! We were a group of 10 foodies from various and distinct backgrounds. We did the prefix dinner with wine pairings. Our expectations were high based on what we read about this jem and none was disappointed. The escargot and onion soup were spot on, the trout almondine and Beef Bourguignon were exceptional, but by far the star of the meal was the steak frites. A sublime surprise accompanied by a bordelaise sauce, a side of béarnaise and a small crock of blue cheese sauce shared by the chef! The wine pairings were all from Bordeaux, decanted and beyond excellent. Do not forget to order dessert! I can’t wait for our next rendezvous“
