“Been in Jax for a year and finally made it to Vito's. We'll be back soonly.
Had a reservation and seated quickly. Loved the atmosphere. Dim lighting, white table clothes. Nothing off the scale too fancy. It was all very comfortable. Tables all taken, servers all over. The first thing I noticed were the servers ... the were all busy and taking care of tables. None were idle.
Started w/ house Chianti and fried ravioli. Both great ... raviolis were huge. Red sauce served with it was the house marinara. It was perfect ... and I'm a big red sauce guy. We followed with a Vito salad and a Caesar. Both the right size and the Vito dressing was good.
For entrees I had Chicken Picata. My wife had chicken saltimbocca. This was the highlight of my meal. Two lightly browned cutlets over a bed of spaghetti. Not too many capers and not overly salty which is always a risk. It was perfect! One of the best I've had. My wife had enough to take home for lunch today.
We held our ground on the bread and dessert as we are trying to watch carbs pending a wedding.
Major kudos to Anthony our server. A genuinely nice guy. Answered our questions, super attentive, always there at the right moment. The place has a new number one fan! I'll be back!

“First time there a week ago food and service was perfect! I brought another friend 5 days later but this time the food was barely lukewarm. Service was good but my friend did not want to complain that her chimichanga was cold. Sometimes you just don’t feel like it. I didn’t care for my dish which I wouldn’t order again which was quesadilla with chicken and pineapple. I couldn’t taste the pineapple. I’ll go back but order something different.“

“As always, their food, vibe, professionalism, and service were top notch. Our first night out in a while, and as usual, JCF exceeded in delivering an amazing atmosphere. The cooks, servers, and staff were, as always, quick, thorough, and the food was delish. Ibelieve I've had nearly everything on their menu now and it never is less than excellent! Quite likely our top 3-5 favorite nationwide! Easily could be number 1 with great competition. If you want amazing local food, this place is the spot. Thanks as always, y'all!“

“Gabby our server and bartender was very welcoming and personable. She was attentive is just the right amount. We came on a great night 2 for 1 drink special so we tried some holiday drinks ks the Rudolph old fashione with maple syrup and the Mistletoe margarita with cranberry and pomegranate. The old fashion was good and strong with cherries and orange segments. The margarita was refreshing a bit tart in a great way very good. We ordered the Mahi blacked platter with baked potato and creamed corn along with shrimp cocktail and fried green tomatoes. The shrimp was prepared very well and the cocktail sauce chilled and flavorful. The Mahi was fresh and delicious. All the apps and sides were good but wow that creamed corn was specially delicious with a hint of bacon. The atmosphere was lovely clean with holiday music. Nice salad bar and seating areas as well as a nice bar to sit and watch a game. After dinner we sat at the bar and chatted with the owner and other patrons. Overall a really lovely place highly recommend for the charm and sweet service. Everyone was very welcoming.“

“We both agreed this was our best food during our trip to Florida, and possibly the best seafood we’ve ever had. We got fried oysters, fried shrimp, blackened shrimp, fried gator tail, and crab legs between the two of us. Absolutely delicious and the drinks were great too! Everything was priced well, and the view if you eat outside is amazing. We saw a mama duck with 10 ducklings! And a beautiful sunset over the lake in the back. The inside had a singer who sounded great! Overall a wonderful experience.“

“This is one of the very best Sushi restaurants that i have ever eaten at. The service was spectacular and the selection of sushi and sashimi was stupendous. I have eaten in many Sushi restaurants and I have to say this is by far my favorite . Whenever we are in St. Augustine I know we will eat there again. My husband, who does not like sushi, also loved the food he was able to get.“

“This place is great! I've ordered 2 days in a row. The guy who picks up the phone is super personable and the driver to! Food was delivered quickly hot and delicious! My new favorite Chinese place. Got the honey chicken combo,he explained the sauce was on the side and made sure I was ok with that(I was), and the large shrimp fried rice with extra shrimp. We wanted extra shrimp and he politely explained the price which was very reasonable! Thank u for the food keep it up“

“Our Angel Moms group had our Mother’s Day brunch today! Today also happened to be International Bereaved Mother’s Day! We had an amazing time. Brian was an outstanding server and even happened to know some of the kids who had passed. The food, drinks and service were excellent!! Highly recommend!“
