“We ate here 2 nights while staying on the beach this week. The hummus and flatbread along with their house salad for a starter was sooo good. The coconut shrimp was good and the coconut curry snapper was the best fish I have ever tasted and I grew up in Florida. The dish is not sweet and the flavor is amazing along with fish cooked perfect. Don’t hesitate to eat here it was our best meal when in St Pete Beach. Thanks Snappers we will be back!“

“I have this a one star review on google a few months ago. However Jeff has really outdone himself with this place. Turned into a great place especially for sports and food. The food wasn’t all that when I was there a few months ago but Jeff has really turned it around to a successful place. Love the new menu. “We were in SPB this past week. Rick’s was a couple blocks away. Went there for breakfast and supper and every time, the food was awesome! Service was top notch. Such a fun little place to go. We’ll definitely hit them up next time we’re up there.“

“Candidly, this place will not get enough traction being off the beach and off the beaten path. Plus, there are just better locations and views at South Beach and Rockaway.

Having said that, this was my LAST stop on the Cocktail Challenge, and I enjoyed my drink on a humid day and, if I’m being honest, lived my Dockside Lemonade the best of all the drinks on the challenge. I had the Banana Hammock and, of course, the Rum Runner, which was outstanding, but this Dockside Lemonade was cool and refreshing and welcomed. A little sweet as a heads up, but really a nice summer drink!

At the end of the day, this was a great way to finish my challenge and had a pleasant experience! For the record, if you are interested in the challenge. Go South Beach, Rockaway, Saltwater (for the views and true on-the-beach dining). End with a grouper sandwich (the best I had) at the Original and then cash in your passport at the next block at Off the Hook!“

“I love the Wharf, but I am frustrated that they stopped serving tater tots, because the fries they have now are horrible. They have no flavor and are soggy or over crunchy. Please bring back the tater tots or get some different fries to serve with the meals! I’m getting tired of eating slaw or paying an extra $8 for onion rings!!“

We had the garlic snow crab platter and had them spice it up a bit, so buttery and flaky. We also tried the garlic shrimp platter which had plenty of large shrimp and both had delicious butter soaked potatoes and corn on the cob too. Then we had the fried catfish with seasoned fries. This is a take out only location and all the better for it. When we picked up our order we got to meet "Little Pompey" who was rang us up and thanked us for our business. Any platter you choose Snow Crab, Blue Crab, Shrimp will be worth it just ask for a little heat if you like it!“

“The Opal sol is beautiful and clean. It is a pleasure to stay here. The rooms are gorgeous and the view from your room cannot be beat. We just got back from 5 nights here and we were sad to leave. “4 of 5 Star review Came to Florida for my bachelorette trip and chose this place as the place I wanted to have a “nice dinner.” We had a reservation at 8pm. The bar messed up 2 of our 5 drinks, which the waitress had remade and apologized saying the got a rush. All the food (conch platter, seafood pasta, crab legs, 4oz filet, and fresh vegetable pasta) was yummy and came old hot and well seasoned, though the steak was overcooked (ordered medium) Would have been 5 stars, but our waitress took 40 minutes to simply get us our checks and run our cards😅“
