This place offered an elevated dining experience. It wasn’t your typical local food joint. We only had appetizers and drinks, but that was enough to know it was exactly what our foodie hearts were craving.
We tried two craft cocktails—the Double Vision and the Lavender Haze. Whoever came up with the idea of mixing carrot, ginger, whiskey, and fennel was pure genius. It was such an exciting drink, perfectly made—we could’ve easily had a few more. The lavender drink was equally refreshing and intoxicating.
Small menu - which we love. We like when restaurants perfect everything, instead of a large menu where everything is mediocre.
We enjoyed the fish and sausage egg roll.
I’m a Minorcan chowder girl, and I could’ve easily swum in a bathtub of that tasty conch soup. It was that good.

This amazing 70's music was playing inside and I was dancing waiting for my take out. It was so cool inside! They asked for my name and I told them. Little did I know when I came back in a few days later where we ate inside that time, that the man who waited on me 2 days before would remember me and call me by name! Holy cow! That was so cool! He said it was because I was dancing. I'm a dancer with 5 trophies so yeah, I was dancing to that good music but to remember me like that! If you love grilled Mac and Cheese or just grilled cheese in general and you love tomato soup, you have to eat here! I promise you will not be disappointed at all! Especially when my whole order was over 75 dollars.”

The atmosphere may seem simple, but understand you're sitting in a restaurant that began as a house in 1764. The floors are older than most of our ancestries in this country. On this hallowed grounds they serve amazing wines, mashed potatoes to write home about, and a filet that is done to such perfection and personal preference, that I know they're cooked sous vide, not held too long at temp, and seared to perfection by a very deft hand. I cannot wait to return to the charm of St Augustine and, when I do, it will be this very same experience that I rush to first.”

“I called Denny's on Ponce De Leon in Historic St. Augustine, from out of state, to see if I could purchase a gift card for a guest who is staying at the Days Inn next door. Unfortunately they could not take a credit card over the phone. However after explaining to Brooke my situation, she was so gracious to offer my guest a free breakfast. I will forever be greatful to her and her genuine thoughtfulness and hospitality. I sure hope I can visit St. Augustine soon to personally meet with this great lady!”

“My wife and I moved to St Augustine a few months ago. We tried a few BBQ places in the area. They were just ok. But we kept hearing about Brisky’s from almost everyone we encountered. Well, we finally stopped in and our mouths were blown away. This is REAL BBQ. The ribs, brisket, baked beans and homemade potato salad were of the hook !!! We met the owners, very friendly couple, and had a chance to chat with them. They make every attempt to check in (touch the table) with every customer. Very impressive. I’ve owned two restaurants in the past and I’ll say that they have what it takes. We will definitely be back. Oh and the bread pudding was the BEST I’ve ever had.”

She was incredibly pleasant and knowledgeable, making our time there enjoyable. Despite my son running late, she remained patient as I held the table for an extended period. While waiting, I couldn't help but notice Nay, one of the servers, who stood out from the rest. She was not only efficient and diligent but also showed compassion and care. I watched in awe as she communicated with an elderly couple using sign language, engaging them in full conversations. The couple looked so happy and appreciative of Nay's genuine personality, and I was equally impressed. I made sure to inform Nay's manager, Chase, of my observations. The staff's genuine desire to make the dining experience enjoyable is what will bring me back in the near future.”

“My wife and I came here for our 31st anniversary. A highly rated restaurant. My meal, steak bowl, was very tasty. The steak was tuff. Over cooked I think. My wife had a fish meal. I forget which. She was very disappointed in the taste and quality of her meal. I have NEVER see my wife complain about a meal before. When our waitress (she was great!) Asked how the meal was my wife told her. Later a woman, not a lady, came to our table concerning our dissatisfaction. She seemed to be insulted and left in a huff. Normally a dissatisfied customer is given a discount or a free dessert. Something. Nothing was offered. What should have been an enjoyable dining experience for Saint Augustine residents celebrating their anniversary was left lacking. 🤢”

The breakfast sammie was perfect. The staff was wonderful and friendly. Literally the best breakfast I have had in 59 years. We will back tomorrow, before heading home. Update. We HAD to come back the next day. It did not disappoint. I had the biscuits and gravy. OMG. It might be better than mine. The biscuits are light and fluffy. Amazing”

“A group of us went to Sonnys on the Fourth of July for lunch. The ribs were very good some said the best they’ve ever had. I had the big meal deal with the beef sandwich and the beef was very tender. Service was great. Only thing we miss is the salad bar🥲”

I had the best time because of her attention to detail. She was just great. Took our plates away after every “meal,” she kept our table clean and friendly with her energy and enthusiasm. She recommended the Brussels and they were on point! She made this a great time for us. She sets the bar high for all other establishments! Well done.”

“Our favorite spot to end the day when visiting St. Augustine! The drinks are great and fairly priced. When you go, make sure to ask to sit in Will’s area. Will has always been our server when there over the past couple of years and actually remembered us a year later after our 1st week there. Maybe we spent a little too many evenings here… Nah!”

“I was on vacation when I saw this restaurant in St. Augustine FL. I saw the menu and said I have to go in and get something! I am a grilled cheese connoisseur and I make some good ones myself but oh my gosh, the grilled Mac and Cheese I had with I can't remember what kind of meat was AMAZING! So was the tomato soup! This amazing 70's music was playing inside and I was dancing waiting for my take out. It was so cool inside! They asked for my name and I told them. Little did I know when I came back in a few days later where we ate inside that time, that the man who waited on me 2 days before would remember me and call me by name! Holy cow! That was so cool! He said it was because I was dancing. I'm a dancer with 5 trophies so yeah, I was dancing to that good music but to remember me like that! If you love grilled Mac and Cheese or just grilled cheese in general and you love tomato soup, you have to eat here! I promise you will not be disappointed at all!
