“You walk in and it almost doesn't feel like a restaurant. It feels like you're walking into your buddies house. It has such a cozy atmosphere. The food was fresh, made to order, and was made with care. You can feel the owners passion in each sandwich. 10/10 experience both times I have been in. PS The chocolate chip cookies are mind blowing.“
“La Cocina in Saint Augustine, FL, is indeed a hidden gem that captivates with its Colombian culinary delights. The menu boasts a symphony of flavors that tantalize the taste buds with each dish. One standout recommendation is the shrimp Crepes, a harmonious blend of mushroom, spinach, and artichoke hearts, creating a savory sensation that delights the senses. For lunch, the blackened shrimp paired with yucca Al mojo and black beans is a symphony of flavors that ignites a warm, happy feeling with every bite. The chicken empanadas, accompanied by chimichurri, are another highlight, showcasing the chef’s skillful mastery of traditional Colombian cuisine. To culminate the culinary journey, indulging in the banana bread and Dulce de leche pastelito is an absolute must. These exquisite Colombian desserts are a testament to the restaurant’s dedication to providing a truly authentic dining experience. The ambiance of La Cocina is reminiscent of a comforting home kitchen, welcoming guests with open arms and filling the air with the aroma of homemade goodness. “We were so happy with our first time at this bakery! We got coffee cake, Easter cookie, chocolate cookie, fudge brownie, Twix bites, and a mango peach banana smoothie. Everything was DELICIOUS! We will absolutely be back.Dietary restrictions: Dairy free, gluten free, vegan accommodating!“
“The place to go for a true French experience ?? I was raised in France and the pastries are the best I have ever had! Don't go through St Augustine without stopping by Les Petits Pleasures??? You won't be disappointed! My favorites: le croissant aux amendes ( you will not find a better one, not even in France!) , sandwiches: le turkey brie croissant ( salty and sweet heavenly combination of flavors), pasty side: la Charlotte ( a bite in heaven)...“

“This is THE best cheesecake I have ever eaten. Better than Juniors, or any other NY cheesecake, baked or otherwise; even better than my grandma's Italian ricotta cheesecake. So having said that -- obviously there are different types! We all have our favorites. I much prefer my own homemade over my bff's - whose cheesecake tastes like a refrigerator cheesecake, but she claims she makes the best. Don't tell her I said hers is so-so. And when it comes to turn-off-the-oven-and-leave-it for two more hours Italian ricotta six eggs grandma Dearie's, well mine is now the best - my Dad agreed. Grated lemon, ricotta, cream cheese and mascarpone, and dash of almond extract- Zwieback for the hint of a crust- a 4 generation recipe from Naples, adapted by my dad, perfected by moi. But for a creamy, dreamy taste of - well, heaven on earth, nobody does cheesecake like Heavenly!!! I will never bake another! My friend Flossy and I could easily sit down with 2 forks and polish one off in a single sitting. The cakes are pricey, but those who bake using prime ingredients will understand. We tried the raspberry but both of us prefer plain- nothing but cheesecake. They do sell other flavors if you prefer. So good, so dreamy, so creamy, so Heavenly!!! PS they also sell cookies, scones, breads, frozen cheesecakes on a stick coated in chocolate & now individual sizes! It's a tiny shop tucked into a corner of the produce shop on US1 near Fort Mose in the same lot as Kyle's Seafood, so a great shopping stop! Great guys with a great sense of humor.“
“I met the owner upon my first visit last week and he is so passionate about his cafe. The Veggie Samosa was delicious and the coffee was strong and flavorful. There is a wide variety of hand crafted gifts to look at, and a small plant-trade on the outdoor patio. Such a wonderful way to start my day!!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian Samosas!“
“I was on my way to another cafe in the area but decided to try this establishment instead, so glad I did! Their flourless chocolate torte exceeded my expectations and the coffee is sourced from a local roaster. I would definitely return to this cafe during my next visit to the area.Dietary restrictions: They have flourless and vegan options available.“
“I absolutely love this Bakery . Can't wait to try all these delicious treats. The ham and cheese was scrumptious! The Crème Brule was perfection, and my other half had a cinnamon bun with a Devine topping that was dancing on my taste buds . Love the atmosphere and helpful staff as well . They have sweet and savory items. Something for everyone. Can't wait to come back .❤️ Thank you chef ? “
“It was a nice visit, I enjoyed. Only 2 of the 4 buildings were open though. Looks like the place used to be a lot more happening than it is now (perhaps due to covid?), but I am glad I went. They had some cool items that would make nice gifts.“
“I can not recommend this bakery highly enough! We purchased a birthday cake. The cakes decoration was breathtaking! The first question of us who enjoyed it and everyone to whom we showed pictures of it was “does it taste as good as it looks?” The answer: even better!!! Thanks for making an important birthday celebration extra special!“
“We stopped here on our journey through Saint Augustine historic district. I did not have a big appetite, so I tried the number 1 Cuban Sandwich. It was fresh and had a good amount of meat on it. My husband thinks the sandwich was "slimy" or very saturated. I would stop here again to try other menu items.“
“Their food is amazing!!!!!The staff was personable and very helpful!!!Our first visit we had desserts even though it was breakfast. Husband loved the Elcair's and I had a Brioche with lime (slight) cream filling with confectionary sugar on top....out of this world. On our second visit my husband had their Belafonte *Belgian waffle with fresh strawberries, nutella, chocolate and whipped cream....I asked for a croissant with ham and swiss cheese and they served it warm....need I say more! Our friends had the french toast special with syrup, fresh strawberries and cream. You need to stop and enjoy this place and then take some home!“
“My wife and i got our wedding cake from here and that thing was UNREAL.All our guests were talking about this for days after the event. We got to do an awesome mix of chocolate, the Floridian, coconut, and Chantilly cake. This stuff is great quality and I can’t say thank you enough!“
