“The first time I went to Ogawa, it was on a fluke at the suggestion of a friend of mine who had been there before. I had no idea what to expect. I walked into a very petite intimate restaurant with only. 11 seats. The experience from start to finish was extraordinary. As a New Yorker, who is also in the hospitality business, I have high standards especially around sushi and Japanese cuisine. The food, wine and sake pairings and attention to detail were outstanding. Each course was better than the next. We met the sushi chef, the culinary chef and the owner. They were so lovely and made our experience so special. I look forward to my next visit.“

“I rarely write reviews but last night I had the most extraordinary dinner at Aoko. It is a beautiful little gem of a restaurant with a great vibe, and kind attentive service - for sure. But what compels me to write is the food ... Simply amazing. We had the omokase and each serving was more incredible. My friend was visiting from SF and he said it was the best sushi he's ever had! It truly a special dinner. I can't say enough good things about this wonderful restaurant!“

I feel after the pandemic, it's really changed the service force. It was such a fresh breath of air to have such an amazing time and service! I had a party of 11 of us for my birthday, and we were treated with smiles, and taken care of like kings. The food was phenomenal! Some of the most beautiful, fresh seafood I have ever had in my entire life. I've been traveling seven years full-time, and I will definitely be coming back just to eat here! The patio is absolutely gorgeous! It will soon be right on the ocean once they are finishing some construction! “Food was amazing! I had no issues except when it came to dessert. We got the Almond Delirious. Before we ordered we asked the server to explain what it was. She stated it was an ice cream base with chocolate and almonds on top with a chocolate crust. However when we got the dessert it was not an ice cream base but chocolate mousse. In fact two layers of mousse and no ice cream whatsoever. That was very disappointing as I do not like mousse. So this kind of ruined the dessert portion for our first time there.“

The Suviche Lager was a great starting beer and paired really well with the Ceviche. We ordered the HH Ceviche and it was a perfect portion for the two of us. The fried fish bites were airy and light, not greasy or overly breaded. We split the Saltado with the Tenderloin - it was the star of the show. Perfectly medium rare and soooo tender. Rice was perfectly done too.

“Great place! We came on a Tuesday night. It was nearly empty and that gave us pause - no need to worry. It was just a slow night, which was kind of great because we had really excellent service and very fresh sushi.

Loved the red curry, the rolls were gigantic, the edamame was piping hot, and the shrimp shumai were flavorful. We had a great time all in all.“

“We had an absolutely amazing dinner here. Unassuming, intimate restaurant that easily accommodated our party of five. I asked for the vegan box listed on the menu, but was told they did not have all the ingredients to make the usual dishes, so the chef Kevin created a menu just for me. He was so creative, inventive, and excited about every dish he brought out of the kitchen, and each one was more delicious than the last. I am technically pescatarian, so a few of the dishes had fish sauce, but he would have easily accommodated me with a vegan or vegetarian menu as well. It was honestly one of the most incredible dining experiences I have ever had. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Miami/ Coral Gables area.“

“Our experience at Pubbelly Sushi restaurant was a 5 Star review. We are from Indiana and found there were many items on the menu which were unique. Our server Lauren was magnificent with description and delicious suggestions. We had Mojitos, two appetizers my husband had sushi and I tried the grill. Our life cream dessert was out of this world with layers of flavor. Lauren showed heroic server measures by giving us her opinion in a kind way when we asked for different choices on food.
