“The staff was wonderful! Our wedge salad, beef tips were wonderful. Our shrimp and grits were too salty and very disappointing. We shared that with the waiter and she said she would let them know. If you are a professional chef, little salt is better than too much. Salt can be added but not taken away. We return but will not order the shrimp and grits. Other than that, it was a great evening celebrating 54 years of marriage.”

I had the best torta I’ve ever tasted, the bread was perfectly fresh and soft, and every bite was bursting with flavor. It’s hard to find something this authentic back home in Valdosta. I also tried their aguas frescas, and they were incredibly refreshing and flavorful. My 10-year-old daughter ordered tacos and surprised me by eating four! She said they were the best tacos she’s ever had.This place is absolutely worth the drive. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for anyone craving true Mexican flavors!”

Okay we like some other people miss understood and got a bit of a shock but it was a good experience in the long run. Service and food were really good. Yes they have Spanish food but when they say “Miami”, they mean more of the club scene. The music was a bit loud but just being two adults we got to reminisce about our younger clubbing days and even recognized some of the music being played. The server looked at his ID and gave him a hard time. He finally allowed him to order his drink, after he looked at me and before I could order my drink, he said and your good with water? I was in shock he was assuming my age without asking me what I wanted to drink. Very rude. He was not personable. Later when going to pay I gave my card to my boyfriend (it was his birthday so I wanted to treat him) when the server came back he put the card in front of me (notating that he knew it wasn't my boyfriends) which I think is so rude. Also when ordering he looked at my boyfriend and said ladys first in a rude way. It was just so condescending and I did not appreciate the service. I hate it so much as this was supposed to be a fun time for my boyfriend. Other than that I enjoyed the food, the steak was cooked to perfection!”

“We have purchased seafood from Mike's ever since they were located off Capital Circle behind ABC LIQUORS (No longer there). Yep, long time ago. I cannot remember our ever being disappointed in any seafood purchased from Mike's. It's been, perhaps 20 years or more. I believe his Mother was also there then. They have always been so organized, professional, flexible, friendly, never having to wait too long, and the market always look neat and clean. You wouldn't believe it was a seafood market when you walk inside (no fishy odor). They clean their fish like no other. Mike is a wonderful person. He works very hard, so his staff does. He takes pride in his business, and it shows. Businesses last, because of reputation. When family comes to town we always know where to get fish from. That's a good thing, right. Thanks Mike. However she got better. The other hostess allowed someone to break the line in front of us. When the lady at the register had asked the line to move closer to the wall in order to check out other guests. That's when a lady and her son came in after my mom and I and broke the line. Although they were busy, the way time wasn't bad. But upon being seated, our waitress apologized right upfront for yawning which she did a lot as well as digging in her eyes while taking our order. My mom ordered Greens. and they were out of cornbread. I ordered the grandma sampler and I didn't receive one of my meats. The side of lemons that we requested twice was very soggy thin and simply not fresh. Needless to say out of the many times that we have visited Cracker Barrel over the years.
