We were maybe like fifteen feet from the trail that goes around the lake. People would walked by every now and then. There are tons of ducks. I had the best torta I’ve ever tasted, the bread was perfectly fresh and soft, and every bite was bursting with flavor. It’s hard to find something this authentic back home in Valdosta. I also tried their aguas frescas, and they were incredibly refreshing and flavorful. My 10-year-old daughter ordered tacos and surprised me by eating four! She said they were the best tacos she’s ever had.This place is absolutely worth the drive. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for anyone craving true Mexican flavors!”

I cannot remember our ever being disappointed in any seafood purchased from Mike's. It's been, perhaps 20 years or more. I believe his Mother was also there then. They have always been so organized, professional, flexible, friendly, never having to wait too long, and the market always look neat and clean. You wouldn't believe it was a seafood market when you walk inside (no fishy odor). They clean their fish like no other. Mike is a wonderful person. He works very hard, so his staff does. However she got better. The other hostess allowed someone to break the line in front of us. When the lady at the register had asked the line to move closer to the wall in order to check out other guests. That's when a lady and her son came in after my mom and I and broke the line. Although they were busy, the way time wasn't bad. But upon being seated, our waitress apologized right upfront for yawning which she did a lot as well as digging in her eyes while taking our order. My mom ordered Greens. and they were out of cornbread. I ordered the grandma sampler and I didn't receive one of my meats.
