“This is one of those hidden gems that's absolutely worth finding. The BBQ is packed with flavor, the portions are generous, and everything tastes fresh and homemade. The jerk ribs and smoked meats are especially delicious and definitely stand out.
The owner is friendly, welcoming, and clearly takes pride in serving great food. If you're looking for authentic BBQ with excellent value in Tallahassee, this spot is well worth the visit. I'll definitely be coming back.“

“Everything was very good. The only reason I gave a 4 for atmosphere is because it was so cold that it was actually uncomfortable. As I was walking in from getting a sweater out of my car there was another woman walking out to do the same. I said something to the manager when we were being seated, but she said she had to keep it this cold so the cooks could be a little cool as they only have one ac unit for the whole building.“

“If you need a catered event, don’t hesitate to call Ralph or Kristin. They are an amazing team and the food was delicious. They took care of every detail. So impressed with WJ’s. We have always loved their BBQ, and they really impressed us and our 40 guests! Thank you Kristin and Ralph!“

“Great, good food, great price. Ordered sausage and ribs today 8/16 got to the room and they forgot my sausage😭 .....got the 2 meat meal. Will enjoy the ribs but gonna miss my sausage. EJ"S is still my go to place when I'm in Tallahassee 👍👍👍“

“The food was delicious, good customer service & nice atmosphere. The restaurant has a lot of items to choose from: shrimp, scallops, crab, fish, squid, octopus, steak, pork, chicken, beef ribs, pork belly, broccoli, bok choy, cauliflower, shiitake mushrooms, cabbage, noodles, desserts, variety of teas and much more.“

“We visited Tallahassee and stopped in here. The barbecue is best I have had in long time. Real barbecue not chain restaurants barbecue!Will go there every time we are in Tallahassee!And side dishes were just as good as rib, pork and chicken!“
