I had the Club and the bread was buttery and toasty and the onion rings were on point, but the sauce they come with is next level. Most importantly there were some special instructions on the order, sub this, remove that, add please and they did not miss a single note!! Impressive on that alone. Portions are generous. “A little recommendation….while attending the concert last night (8/10/23) at Mid-Florida Amphitheater we stayed at the Embassy Suites in Brandon. We are Hilton people so staying at their family of hotels is always our first choice. But I have to tell you, this Embassy Suites takes customer service to the next level. From Matthew who checked us in, to Gina the bartender, to Mike and Millie who made our breakfast, to Chad the General Manager, they did not miss one opportunity to make sure we were completely satisfied. A bonus was that the hotel was a $12 Uber ride to the Amphitheater. If you can swing it, stay here when your attend your next concert.“

“Tonight was so fun! I have been to GenX a few times before but tonight was very busy! The staff was killing it. We had so much fun with the DJ. We had a party of 15 and we came in at 515 and spoke to Megan and Dean and even though there were many other reservations they made our party a priority. They made sure to take care of us even though they were bartending and running around with a bus tub cleaning tables. This place was so fun and so many other customers were in wigs or outfits of the GenX era. We loved the atmosphere and are so glad we had our birthday party at GenX. Please tell Megan and Dean thank you for taking such good care of us all night and the DJ was giving us life! Thanks GenX! Here's to another year around the sun. 🌞“

“I personally witnessed the situation: the individual who wrote it displayed inappropriate behavior, was asked to leave, returned upset about not being served, and then came back again to take video footage of the bartender while making unreasonable threats such as “you will be canceled”. This behavior was disruptive and unacceptable.

The bartender in question is one of the most professional people I have ever encountered. He consistently provides service with grace, respect, and acceptance toward everyone. Any claims of racism are simply not true and do not reflect reality. From my personal experience over nearly a decade as a customer, I can say with confidence that this bartender is not only professional but also genuinely caring. I genuinely never leave reviews but felt absolutely compelled to do so this time! The anchor bar is great!“

“This may not be in any tourist guide, but it should be. The place is iconic and a great place to watch the game, meet up at the end of the day, or just escape from a house full of guests that won't leave. The food is excellent, especially the Garlic Parmesan wings and there are plenty of beers on tap.“

“I was so impressed by Todd, your front desk associate. He was always very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He addressed each and every issue/question I had immediately and was always receptive, attentive, and very courteous. He even remembered my name after just one time talking to him. I usually don't write reviews, but I was so impressed by his customer service skills that I had to make a review. No days exceptional customer service is hard to find if not non-existent. “We started off our meal with an amazing appetizer. I've got 4 words for you. Deep Fried Deviled Eggs. Our taste buds enjoyed the crisp of the fried egg white and the creamy contrast of the deviled mixture. They topped each bite off with bacon and jalapeño.

Not only was our app delicious, but our main course was fresh, flavorful, and priced just right.

If you want outstanding service, taste bud satisfying food, and great casual atmosphere, BH is the place to go.“

“I came in for a quick lunch since I was in the area. I had the BBQ wings and garlic wings. Sooo good! I had a couple drinks and the bartender Rosie I believe was her name was so sweet and funny! I told her to surprise me with a drink since I didn’t know what I wanted and man was it good!!! I’ll be back even if I’m not on that side of town!“

“We had two meals here, a proper dine-in dinner and breakfast to go. The food was adequate and tasty enough for a Hyatt restaurant near the airport. This is quite a large Hyatt with two towers so the place was pretty busy but not overwhelmed. There were no long waits. The service crew was friendly and appropriate but nothing over the top in terms of warmth and affability... if that's a word even.. they kept my debit card too which I didn't discover until we were long gone; only mildly inconvenient with today's technology.“

“Great service! Great food! I loved the customer service, the waitress was so nice and she was very helpful answering my questions. I thought the food was amazing! I liked the view of the water too. There was a crowd that came in and was a little loud but its understanding since sports were playing on TV. The only thing that was bothersome was that the parking was so confusing. They had a sign for "free" parking. I got the first spot near the building. The sign said that it was "pay". I asked the valet (he was very nice) but I didn't want to pay for valet parking (call me thrifty) There was indeed free parking in another lot. The pay sign was right in front of my parking space. The valet said the first lot was free parking and to ignore the sign. I think the signs should be taken down as to not confuse more patrons.“
