“Foxtail coffee is so delicious!! I've been obsessed with their iced matcha with lavender bitters. I recently had surgery and was craving some after and since I couldn't drive I had it delivered. I apologized in my notes for having a single drink delivered (it felt to myself a little silly to have a single drink delivered) but I wasn't clear to drive yet. “I discovered this place by chance yesterday (August 9, in the afternoon) after eating at another restaurant in the same plaza. I saw they sold beverages and decided to give it a try — the menu options looked amazing! I ended up ordering food too, and it was so delicious that I came back again this morning (August 10) for breakfast.

The ladies who attended me both days were incredibly kind and welcoming. On both visits, one of them even tried to make a heart in my cappuccino, which was such a sweet touch. The food is fresh and full of flavor, and the atmosphere makes you feel right at home.

“Cafe Quiquirqui (Cock-a-doodle-do...for English speakers) is a great spot to grab coffee or quick snack. The name is homage to the ubiquitous roosters of Ybor City. It's the only non-chain coffee place I know of in Tampa that's open past 2pm and as such I've become a semi-regular. It's located right on 7th in Ybor, inside Hotel Haya...however it has its own entrance. The cafe con leches are very solid and available both hot and iced. Their guava bars are tasty too, and they offer other sweet and savory prepared pastries as well as small sandwiches, chia cups, oats, fruit, etc. They change out their specialty drinks seasonally and the ones I've tried have been very good. The space is bright and pretty, with comfortable chairs and live plants hanging from the ceiling. There's paid street parking and a free 15-minute spot right across the street. There's also a lot about a block away. Vegan milk options are available.“

“Quickly’s is definitely an acceptable choice if you’re in the area and need a quick bite or drink. Their creative and visually appealing drinks taste pretty good, although the boba pearls themselves are just average (a bit hard in the middle, texture not as chewy, and tasteless). Unfortunately, their popcorn chicken is a letdown—I’ve tried it a handful of times, and each time I’ve been disappointed enough that I’ve stopped ordering it altogether.

That said, their croffles are dangerously good. I’ve only tried the biscoff flavor so far, but if that’s any indication, the other flavors must be just as amazing.

The staff here are always super friendly and helpful, which makes for a consistently pleasant experience.

This review would have landed at a fair 3 stars, but the croffle, delicious drink creations, and top-notch customer service definitely bump it up to a 4.“

“The coffee was decent here. I had the caramel latte. It wasn't overly sweet, a very mild smooth taste. I also had the blueberry muffin. It was OK,... could be a little more moist. I was a little disappointed that I couldn't have it warmed. However, the atmosphere here was awesome calm and quiet, the way I like it to be in the morning. The have an outside porch with lots of shade which lit makes it cool spot. Great for a quick coffee stop.“

“I like the refreshers here. I do remember my daughter was drinking Frappuccino with her friend while we were living in Edinburgh, UK. It was gaining popularity in new drinks. Unlike in US, in the Europe and UK the restaurant have big competitors, moreover, Italian and French coffee shops would compete as well. There are other big names in the US as well, but starbucks is the obvious one and it is easier to find a location of the restaurant and you can expect the test you would receive. All in all, I like the location and the restaurant as well.“
