“Family-owned and operated, which is ALWAYS a bonus, because you know they care about the food they make. A couple unique options for vegetarians as well, which we really appreciate. Salsa for chips felt very fresh, and I even think the corn tortillas are homemade, too, not sure, but they were good.“

“This is the absolute best Mexican food in the area! The service is exceptional, food is hot and fresh and they have the best raspberry margaritas around by far!!! If you happen to get lucky and grab a seat by the bar you will not regret it. The bartender, Carissa has a great personality, knows her stuff and has great recommendations. The brisket is delicious and the shredded chicken chimichanga with the house queso is to die to! I recommend this restaurant to all of my friends and to you as well.“

“I’ve been looking for a go to place for Mexican food because it is so hard to find a good one here. Authentic Mexican food which I have missed so much. Flavor is good and service is good. Only got the carnitas and al pastor tacos, but can’t wait to come back to try more! We did take out. They have a couple tables to sit down at.“

“The decorations for Halloween were fantastic. The food and drinks were also very good and our only slight complaint was our waitress asked us 4 times about desserts and made it feel like we were rushed out afterwards. Will go back again though.“

“visited Torchy's St Pete today, loved it and looking forward to the next visit. We sat at the bar and Will & Tom took great care of us. we have, queso, guacamole and salsa to start. Chips were fresh and tasty as were all three dips. Torchy's has a good variety of Tacos that are flavorful and different from other restaurants. I highly recommend it.“

“First time eating there today for taco Tuesday, at $1.70 per taco! We are from Colorado and so we know about great authentic Mexican food. Very clean and organized building. Great service coupled with excellent Mexican food. Israel was our waiter and he was very pleasant. Everything was done super-fast and with very friendly genuine people. Voted best Mexican restaurant in Pinellas Park in 2026 and 2025; stop in and you will NOT be disappointed. Enjoy! Oh happy hour starts at 3pm daily! You will love it.“

“Closest I can get to Mexican food from back home (west coast). Amazing food, always made right there and they’re quick! You go in and order go to the coolers and grab a drink if you didn’t get horchata or jamica etc.. you pay after you finish eating at the counter. Prices are good. The owner is normal in there helping too, which is alway awesome.“

“SOOOO authentically delicious!!! Amazing service we had from the moment we walked in and the food was excellent and nice sized meals for the price. Family owned restaurant with amazing flavors even the aguas frescas are delicious, we will definitely be returning and you should definitely give them a try you won’t be disappointed!“

“Just left Grand Hacienda at Tyrone Mall in St Petersburg and was introduced to one of the best meals that is on their special menu introduced today. It is the birria ramen!! absolutely delicious. The flavor is amazing and it has pieces of tender birria beef found in their special tacos. It’s being prepared for a short period of time. Go try it…..you will love it!!“

“Authentic local Mexican food, cozy hole in the wall restaurant with GREAT food and even better service, were very attentive and friendly! Ordered a Carne Asada Chimichanga & Chorizo Quesadilla, both delicious and filling , very reasonably priced! Quac was fresh and delicious! And the fried ice cheesecake for dessert was too! Will definitely be back! 10/10“

I gave you 5 stars for food and 5 stars for service. No I didn’t follow suit on atmosphere, but you’re right- 2-Stars overall was not reflective of food/service- sorry. I don’t come for your pure margaritas or the $1.75 beer, but I’m sure the 39+hrs of happy hour makes many happy. I do spend ample $ on food/booze though. I did changed the overall star rating. I must be the only one that doesn’t like to hear myself chew. It was SO quiet in the restaurant …. ? Still love your food and bartenders…

“After some help from Dave on how to find the location and where to park we had a great experience. Tacos were exceptional and Excellent service by Jordan. Salsa and Guac were fresh and flavorful. Better than the usual margaritas. Great value for the money.“

“This is probably the only Mexican place in St. Pete/Tampa I've found in two years that's acceptable. Being from southern Cali, definitely have high standards, but we have scoured St. Pete and Tampa for AGES trying to find a Mexican restaurant where the food is actually flavored well and correctly, and literally this wk went here and it was actually good. I wish the birria had been spicy, but ah well-the flavor was definitely there. We also got the flautas. The side green sauce was unimpressive and sort of watery :/ but the side orange sauce was awesome and flavorful. I would actually come back to eat here. The pricing of some items such as carne asada seemed high(so we didn't get that), but the birria and flautas were fair enough for the area.“

“Went to this restaurant for the first time for lunch. The prices are a bit high, but the food is high quality and taste excellent. You get a lot of food for the money. Our server was Laura and she was great! Very helpful with the menu and pleasant. Will definitely go back!“

“I went to the Tijuana Flats at 944 4th St N in St. Petersburg, FL. The food was great and the service was excellent! Three times while I was eating, staff asked if I needed anything or refills. Keep up the great work!“

“Went by for the first time yesterday--amazing service, but more than that, they make you feel cared for. It's like visiting your mom (but she's kind and doesn't pressure you to get married and have kids). I was very touched by the experience. And the Cuban sandwich was absolutely amazing!“

“75th Trip-Around-the-Sun for my husband. Party of 7 seated to celebrate. Our locals enjoyed the house margaritas and the menu selections, and our out-of-town family was impressed the location, food and service.“
