“Disco fish is worth the money, but it has been the same for years now. I went with my family and if my wife liked it you know it is good because she can be somewhat picky...since she said she would go back...then it deserves 5 stars. Soup was good and fried fish was good as was the minute. Our server was Yuyu...very kind and can make recommendations“

“This is a hidden gem of Miami. One of the greatest restaurants I’ve been to. It has a very unique Vietnamese menu and every dish is different, unique and sooo flavorful. The service is great, a lot of young people working there and the place runs smoothly although is always very busy. I recommend going with a reservation. “Miami Airport is, to put it kindly, not my favorite airport. The pre-security areas are chaotic, there are people sitting all over the floor with their luggage, and there’s surprisingly little to do during a long layover when they kick you out of the secure area.

Chef Creole was the redeeming part of the experience. I got the stew chicken with rice and it was fantastic — tender, extremely flavorful, and genuinely one of the best airport meals I’ve had. The pikliz on the side had this really interesting sharp, vinegary kick that went perfectly with the chicken and rice. Portions are huge.

If you’re stuck outside security at MIA with time to kill, do yourself a favor and eat here. Five stars for Chef Creole. The airport… considerably fewer.“

We tried the tasting menu recently, which has almost everything on the menu, and were blown away by the sauces in all the dishes. I went with two of my best friends on a Wednesday night, and we somehow got lucky enough to be the only guests there. It basically turned into a private omakase experience, which made an already special meal even more memorable.

The chef was fantastic—interesting, engaging, and incredibly thoughtful about every dish. You could tell how much intention went into each course, and everything was beautifully executed. The sake selection was also incredible and complemented the meal perfectly. We even added a few extra pieces at the end because we weren’t quite ready for it to be over.

Obviously, Ogawa is not an inexpensive night out, but this is one of those meals where you walk away feeling like it was absolutely worth it. For a special occasion or if you simply love great sushi, I could not recommend Ogawa more. One of Miami’s very best.“
