50 Best Seafood Restaurants near Wilton Manors

“One thing I am most grateful for about living in SOFLO is, naturally, the tropical weather; secondly, the abundance of excellent restaurants conveniently located everywhere around me—from simple mom-and-pop venues, to diners, to trendy chains, to upscale restaurants.

Sometimes, if one dares to try a small, seemingly insignificant restaurant tucked away in an obscure strip plaza off the major highways, one may discover a true diamond in the rough. Last Friday, I found that diamond.

The restaurant is named Bravo, located at the entrance of Wilton Manors on 6th Avenue (2926 7th Ave., Wilton Manors—just about 1,500 feet south of Oakland Park Blvd.). Driving by, one might think it is a sleazy strip plaza. Anyway, a friend suggested that our group of foodies go there because he had been before and loved it. I am usually skeptical when someone recommends a place and simply says, “It’s nice. You’ll like it.” Still, being a good sport, I followed the gang.

The restaurant features a spacious, pleasant, and comfortable bistro-style L-shaped dining area with a full liquor bar in the middle. Our friend made reservations for six at six, we were promptly seated, and each was handed a menu. Within a few minutes, our server came over, took our drink order, and recited a couple of specials. He quickly returned with our drinks and water, then gave us about ten minutes to study the menu and enjoy our cocktails.

No one in our group was particularly fluent in Peruvian cuisine, and an avalanche of questions followed: “Does anyone know what this or that is?” Our server finally came to the rescue, answering all our questions by not only explaining the ingredients but also vividly describing the flavors, as if he were tasting each dish right in front of us. It was remarkable.

Needless to say, both our appetizers and entrées were outstanding, but the entire dining experience was truly memorable. I not only applaud the restaurant and its staff—I also exclaim a loud BRAVO!“

“Review for Salvo's Oysterteria Romano ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Last night, my husband, my friend and music partner Chris Autore, and I had the pleasure of dining at Salvo’s Oysterteria in Wilton Manors. It came highly recommended by Chris, and it did not disappoint! As someone who is quite picky about Italian food, we were all thoroughly impressed with both the food and the service. From the moment we walked in, Salvo and his partner made us feel like part of their family. Their hospitality was incredibly welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for the evening. Where else can you go where the owner sits down at your table and, within minutes, you’re all singing “That’s Amore”? Salvo got a gleam in his eye and asked me if I wanted to sing! I was happy to accommodate—it truly added to the vibrant and enjoyable experience. Now, let's talk about the food! Each dish we ordered was exceptional—authentic flavors, perfect seasoning, and beautifully presented. It’s clear that the chefs take great pride in their craft, and it shows in every bite. Whether you’re craving classic pasta dishes, delectable sauces, or generous portions, this restaurant has it all! If you're looking for a memorable dining experience where you'll be treated like family, I cannot recommend Salvo's Oysterteria Romano highly enough. It’s a gem that truly embodies the essence of traditional Italian cuisine. My husband, Chris, and I can't wait to return!“

“I hosted my baby shower at Oceanic and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The Southern Room upstairs was the ideal size for our 40 guests. Spacious yet intimate, with such a beautiful atmosphere and access to a private balcony overlooking the beach. Our event coordinators, Casey and Maria, were incredible to work with throughout the planning process. They were both organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in making everything seamless.

The buffet options were fantastic, our guests are still raving about the chicken and waffles, and the donut hole bar was such a fun and delicious hit. On the day of the event, Bobby and Amanda went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. They were attentive, helpful, and truly made us feel taken care of.

We’ve received so many compliments from our guests about the food, service, and overall experience. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special day. Highly recommend!“

“Whoa! I want to start by praising my server, Clarissa, for providing the greatest service. It was incredibly tasty in every bite and sip. A true reproduction of Peruvian cuisine, really. Everything was perfect, including the food, service, and menu. I had a typical pisco sour and cebiche a la brasa; if you enjoy cebiche, I heartily recommend it! I'm going to return and tell everyone I know about Manta. Fish tanks, beautiful design, and good music. Bravo to the wonderful personnel and chef!“

“My husband and I went here for our anniversary and it was a great choice. We were treated very well with a decorated table, a free dessert, and a nice card from the restaurant.

The appetizers were the star of the show! We got the crab cake, beef tartar, and we each got the lobster bisque. These were our favorite items of our entire vacation!! Very fresh and delightful. We also got the sea bass and scallops which were also quite delicious- although I will say the sweet potato puree was a touch too sweet for my liking with rich scallops. Nonetheless, very tasty. Great cocktails as well and fantastic service!“

“I can't get enough of this place; everything is fresh and tasty and the prices are good. I'm there at least once a week and drive a half hour for their mahi mahi. The lobster rolls are big and meaty and the shrimp is always prepared perfectly.“

“I’ve been going to this restaurant since it first opened. I have not had a better experience with Seafood Boils than here. If anyone else says otherwise, they don’t know what they’re talking about! Kiki is usually my waitress, and she has shown me NOTHING but kindness, generosity, and I really appreciate her work ethic. “Tonight my wife and I had two guests , one from out of town , and we spent a few hrs on the boat. We stopped here for dinner and it was packed. A server named Allie came over and checked to make sure we were on the list.When we were seated Allie took great care of us and the meal was great !!! Our server, Nina, was wonderful—warm, attentive, and professional. Even the managers stopped by to check on us and make sure everything was perfect. “GOOOOOOOOO!! NOW gooooo..I promise you will not regret it. The octopus is delicious, the yuca fries are out of this world the way they do them (different luxurious), the whole fried fish is outrageous 😋..
The alcohol based drinks are good, simple enough but clean good yummy.
The dips, chimichurri, the red onion slaw (thats the nane i just made up) was craaaazy good omg I could eat that slaw on anything lol..cereal cool, cake why not, lol ...ok joking! But you have to get that red onion slaw..

“We loved our food with great service! The mussels in a garlic marinara sauce were the best but more bread to dip would have been appreciated. I had Broiled Scrod with garlic roasted green beans topped with roasted red peppers. Others had broiled scallops, shrimp scampi, fish and chips. The fish dishes were delicious and being from Eastern Canada on the seashore, we were more than delighted to have had such great seafood in South Florida! Kudos to the Chefs and Kitchen Staff!! This time I tasted the Maine Lobster Chitarra, a half Maine lobster with squid ink pasta and calamari. It was excellent.

“Hooks Catch Seafood in Coral Springs delivered one of the best casual seafood meals we’ve had in a long time. Everything arrived hot and seasoned just right—flavorful without being salty. The team working there is genuinely kind, and we even had the chance to meet the owner’s son, who was just as friendly and welcoming.

The blackened catfish was absolutely perfect, cooked with care and great flavor. The French fries deserve their own mention: crisp, clean, and cooked in their own dedicated oil, which means no contamination and no heavy salt. The chicken was just as impressive—hot, juicy, and full of flavor.

The restaurant is kept clean, including the bathroom, and they offer drink refills, which is always appreciated. Hooks is the kind of place where the food is great and the people make it even better.“

“These guys are THE BEST. Not only is the food just as amazing as it’s always been (I’ve been a semi-regular for nearly 25 years), but the staff and management are top notch. Recently my best friend passed and his brother knew he loved Catfish Dewey’s, so he wanted to have a dinner there with local friends, neighbors, and colleagues. I went in and spoke to Joe, the manager. He assured they’d make it happen and they did so, flawlessly and with great attention to detail. They managed a party of nearly 48 people in addition to their regular clientele, even bringing in extra staff to help with the event. These folks went out of their way to make sure this special event went flawlessly and it did. The waitresses, whose names I cannot remember (I told you I wouldn’t…sorry! Ha!) were amazing. Food runners, on point. Bartenders, outstanding. Management, excellent. There’s a lot of love and care in this establishment and it should be celebrated. There’s not enough of that these days. Support local businesses who care, especially those with GREAT food AND great people like Catfish Deweys.“

“This company is located at the Yellow Green Farmers Market in Hollywood FL on Sheridan St. booth #640….don't get Ceviche from any other Ceviche places there. I ordered the Classic Ceviche, and was not disappointed! It was fresh, and delicious! The owner and his wife were very friendly and provided very good customer service. They make the ceviche fresh to order. I will return, and recommend this restaurant if you happen to go to this Farmers Market. It’s not right at the entrance but worth the walk thru!! 👍“
