“What a great new addition to the already crowded KBBQ scene in Central Florida. What sets this place apart is the food itself and the service. First, the food… extremely well marinated and everything was on point from the kimchi pancake to the side dishes and of course, the meats themselves. Second, the service stood out the most. Jason our server was extremely personable, helpful and just overall a good guy. He led us the entire meal providing recommendations and even made sure our meats were never overcooked. This is rare in other KBBQ places these days. The rest of the staff was also great, clearing off dishes immediately and filling our cups as soon as they see it getting low.I think I found my new go-to KBBQ in Orlando! The food was bold in its flavoring. I ordered a berry sangria and it was huge. The loaded potato soup was excellent!! I got the 7 pepper sirloin salad, and it was next level good. “Decided to drive here after visiting Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive this past Saturday. We were in the mood for locally owned bbq. Found this place in Monteverde, and I'm glad we drove 30 minutes to eat lunch here. The owner and his family are very nice and the bbq is good. We did the family meal for 4 and ordered another large side to go with it. The order was for pulled pork sandwiches, mac and cheese, baked beans, and coleslaw. My wife and I are picky about coleslaw; even more so the kids. It was sweet and was slightly different from what I would describe as a typical coleslaw. But whatever it is that sets it apart from other ones, it works because it was really good. The kids really liked it. We did try some of their ribs as well. Our 8 year old daughter was impressed and wanted to let them know how good the ribs were. If you get a chance, stop by there for lunch and see why they have such good reviews.“

“10/10!!!!!!!!! Highly recommend the Ribs, Mac and Cheese and baked beans. The ribs were perfection, smoked perfectly. I got the sweet spicy sauce with the yellow sauce. The baked beans definitely have such a sweet taste so good and the Mac and cheese was the perfect texture, right amount cheese. The collard greens were good also. I spent $16 for the Rib dinner.“

The food is delicious and high quality compared to other grill-your-own-meat places (you pay for the premium) and that alone can carry the restaurant.I have to mention one issue during our visit. We were a larger group and it seemed that larger parties were somewhat deprioritized. While the staff was friendly, it took a bit longer for our orders to be taken, and we noticed that smaller tables around us received their cooking food before us. Either plan accordingly or make sure the staff get you your food items in a timely manner. We had already pretty much eaten all of the sides that accompanied the meat by the time the meat arrived and we were not particularly pleased at how long we ended up at the restaurant and were so hungry we forgot to take pictures of the main courses.While I may pick other places to host larger parties from now on, I would still highly recommend Gyu-Kaku for anyone looking for a unique and delicious dining experience. “Great meat. Smokey with a nice crispy bark on the brisket. The KC sauce was great with brisket and the Carolina Gold works well with the pork. Settlers Beans were the best beans I've ever had. Pieces of bbq meat in with the beans! Coating on the green tomatoes was a bit underwhelming and not too crispy. Greens were smokey and savory. Mac and cheese very creamy. The nachos were solid. Going to visit again just for the beans! Cornbread muffins are a nice touch. Great, friendly staff with awesome t-shirts.“

“I stopped at the gas station to get some gas & all I smelled was that good smelling food coming from that grill. OMG I got the half of BBQ chicken with Mac & cheese & greens. It was so delicious & the chicken was so tender. Black gave us a sample of the rib & damn it the meat was so tender & falling off the bone. The sweet potato casserole was also delicious. My daughter & nice shared the baked Mac & cheese & didn’t even use to taste any. We went back about an hour later & got a slab of ribs & Lord have mercy it was so delicious. I promise when I come back to visit we will definitely be back. “This is exactly what you want from a BBQ truck. It's only open Saturday from 12-5 but is absolutely worth planning around. All the meat choices were well done. The ribs, pulled pork and brisket were all very good. I am from KC so it doesn't quite match a place like Joe's, but it really close. The brisket is a bit fatty, but that adds to the flavor.Prices are fair, so for BBQ, it is value for quality. It was busy and the grass area parking off of Avalon is a little limited, but manageable. It's informal and easy to navigate.They have 4 different sauces and they are all great. It was a great experience, food was great, expect a little wait...it's popular for a reason.Edit: I failed to give them credit for serving their meats "dry" as all good BBQ should be. If you have to cover the taste with sauce, there's something wrong. With that being noted, their sauces are ridiculously great. I expected them to coast on the sauces given the size and nature of the operation, but I was dead wrong. I wouldn't waste covering their very good BBQ with sauce, but sauces are essential to enjoying your fries and sides. All four choices were simply outstanding. These are as good as you'll find in KC, Memphis, St Louis or the Texas places that are known in the BBQ world. I am not over stating this, they are great.“

Came back to Orlando Dec 2023 and made a special trip to find those ribs. Was not disappointed! Same great Smokey flavor falling off the bone! And the Collard Greens are an Awesome taste sensation! “Cianna was a wonderful bartender. To be honest, this was a highly equipped bar for a vacation destination. They were out of cocoa butters and the bartender quickly recommended a replacement and an additional suggestion. We appreciate the tequila and bourbon variety!“

“I love this quick service restaurant inside animal kingdom! I ordered two of the Baked Macaroni & Cheese with Pulled Pork, one French Fries with Pulled Pork and Cheese, and one regular French fries. It cost a total of $40.95 after tax. I was able to feed 2 adults, 3 kids, and one infant from these large portions. Take your food down to the quiet sitting areas to the left of the restaurant. These spots are somewhat private and tranquil with the wildlife. It makes for a great stop to rest your feet after a long day of park walking. I got the Chocolate Stampede cake and ate it the next day, so yummy. “We love going to Longhorns. I don’t usually eat steak here because I cook a great steak at home but we love the Wild West shrimp and the chicken tenders with the honey mustard dipping sauce. I think they have one of the best honey mustard sauce around. My last visit someone in my party ordered the sirloin steak and it was cooked to medium rare as requested, but there were something funny like a sour taste towards the center of the meat. The staff was wonderful in the situation and removed the dish from our check and gave us a free appetizer for our next visit. This will not stop up from returning. “We were driving by and the smell of smoked perfection made us stop in our tracks. Without exaggeration, Basil’s barbecue ribs are the best ribs I’ve ever eaten in my life. They came with sauce and bread, but I didn’t need either one. I don’t even think they were dry-rub. I think they just smoke the ribs so well, using the best cuts of non-fatty pork, that any extras are just unnecessary. I’m mad we only got one slab! ??✊?“

“Kenny's is real good BBQ ran by great people. I ordered 2 full slabs, beef sausages, mac n cheese, and seafood rice. Everything was tasty and cooked perfectly. The ribs were smothered in sauce (hot sauce was hot! Yum) as I asked and fall off the bone tender. The seafood rice had big pieces of seafood and wasn't mushy or dry. The young lady who took my order was very patient with me and gentleman that packed up my order made sure everything was to my liking before sending me off. I will definitely be back.
