They provided a fantastic spread for our cocktail hour, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. For the reception, the highlight was definitely the suckling pig. It was tender, perfectly seasoned, and such a memorable centerpiece for the meal. The rest of the menu was just as impressive—generous portions, amazing quality, and consistently delicious.
Dessert was another huge hit. The mini pastries and cake were the perfect sweet ending to the night. Guests loved having a variety of bite-sized treats, and the cake was moist, gorgeous, and full of flavor.

“My family was visiting from Ohio and found this place. We were very impressed with the service and food. We tried the ribs and pulled pork, with sides of Mac n cheese, baked beans, and fries. Little one got grilled cheese. We have zero complaints. The free donut, cinnamon and sugar, included with your meal was also delicious. Donut was fresh and made in front of you. We also got to meet the owner, who personally came to ask us how the BBQ food we ordered was and provided the orgin of how the idea become reality. Highly recommend a visit!“

“This place is hidden inside a little gas station. The portions are generous! The ribs are fall off the bone with some of the best bbq sauce evah! Finger licking for sure! “Yum, Yum, Yum! I was invited to lunch at Papa Diesel's Restaurant on my visit to Apopka, FL. From the moment I entered the restaurant, the entire experience was a treat. A friendly family atmosphere greeted me at the door, with the added touch of care that was immaculately given to every detail. The aroma from the kitchen activated my taste buds, as I stared mesmerized by the extensive menu. Finally, I decided to go for the “Diesel Sampler”. The brisket was so succulent that it melted in my mouth. The ribs fell from the bone with such flavor that no sauce was necessary—the pulled pork I used to sample the homemade sauces. As I was told, the sauces will soon be available in the local supermarkets (as I can attest to becoming a family staple). Needless to say, the sausage, chicken, and sides all met with the same flavorful standards. Ending my meal with a dessert, I enjoyed the peach cobbler and shared a nibble of key lime cake with my date. It was an enjoyable afternoon, sharing special time with loved ones in a loving environment, dining on food prepared by Papa Diesel, who loves to cook for folks, and making them feel at home!“

“Once you navigate through the various rules associated with the all-you-can-eat menu (explained by the server), be prepared for some awesome Korean/Sushi cuisine! Come hungry to get the most bang for the $50 per person. Our group tried a combination of meats and sushi. I gorged myself on tuna nigiri, which was very good. The meats were also excellent. I particularly liked the marinated sirloin. Salad bar and bread selections were good. Our waiter was attentive, which always makes a big difference.“
