“We ordered 2 lobster rolls and 2 hanger steak skewers. They were delicious and accommodating of my gluten allergy on my order. Justin was knowledgeable and working hard! My husband said the pickle was the best he's ever had. Voodoo Shrimp makes their own. We are ready to return and try another item off the menu. I remembered to take pictures after we started eating (we couldn't wait!) so please know you get more than what is pictured here. Check them out!“

“We had our rehearsal dinner last night at Cafe Karibou and it was a great experience! Tim (GM) was so helpful during the full process and very responsive via email & in person. The food was really good-some of my favorites were the pasta primavera & beef medallions. The bar staff was so helpful and even during dinner, she was able to walk around to refill drinks. Definitely recommend!“

“We visit the Salty Pelican every time we come to the island, sometimes more than once. Everything is good. Seriously, I have yet to taste anything on the menu that wasn't delicious. The service is always friendly and attentive. There is a wait during their busy times but it is 100% worth it.“

“After a noon meal, we decided to cap it off with a slice of blueberry and a slice of strawberry cheesecake at the Riverside Cafe. The pies were scrumptious, and packed with the most blueberries that I’ve ever seen on a slice of cheesecake. The service was great and the view was even greater. My experience started with the phone call to see if they had any openings last minute for a table for three and the gentleman couldn't have been more accommodating and welcoming. “We were travelling through and looking for a restaurant in St Marys to take some good friend to. There was a short wait to get a table for four. The restaurant was busy but service was great and the food was excellent. Certainly would go there again next time we're travelling to Florida.“

“All You Can Eat Crab Legs and Fried Shrimp?!?!!! What!?! Wednesday nights in a small town restaurant, just slightly off the beaten path, behind a Circle K, you will find this Hidden gem (Crab). You will be greeted by one of the locally sourced staff who will invite you to sit where you like. Lauren is amazing! They do have a full bar and the menu is great, ranging from Fried Chicken to a host of seafood options. The AUCE Crab and Fried Shrimp was perfectly prepared and delicious, accompanied with fries and coleslaw (very good and I'm generally not a fan) with choice of cocktail and tarter sauces, obviously clarified butter. They also have a 30 Fried Shrimp option daily, at a great price! This place is fantastic if you're looking for one of VERY FEW restaurants offering AUCE Crab Legs!“

“This is the most comfortable establishment headed towards Amelia Island. The drinks are top shelf and the food is wonderful.Get a group together and enjoy the outdoor deck or stay indoors, either way there's plenty of space for everyone.“

“Here's another restaurant added to my favorite restaurant to go back to in downtown Amelia Island. Amazing view of water topped it off with a nice lunch and friendly crews. My husband had the shrimp po boy and I had the Buffalo shrimp salad, both are exquisitely tasty. I also tried the crab hush puppies- I tasted a touch of crab in it but I was expecting more of crabs. But overall, I liked what ww ordered. The nice view and tasty food made it very easy for me to rate it 5 star. With an appetizer (crab grit au gratin) and 2 meals plus 3 drinks totalled $97 without tip.“

“We ordered the seafood platter. The seafood was nice and hot, and you can tell it's fresh! We enjoyed the Maui, local shrimp, fried oysters, and the house made seasoned chips dunked into blue cheese as advised by our lovely server. It's a local favorite, a hidden gem! It's located at the underside of the bridge with some amazing views.“

“Very good. Almost excellent.Went with wife for a special occasion to a very crowded restaurant on a Saturday night. Sat at the bar, bc there were no tables. I was prepared to be disappointed.The atmosphere is very nice except for the bar lights, which seem out of place for a turn of the century building. I also think the bar back should be more traditional with more mirrored surface. It would widen the room and provide a view of the teriffic 2 piece combo playing live (Think Sinatra etc), nice touch.We started with the mussels. Really good, tender, perfect sauce. Needs 2 pieces of bread, bc everyone shares mussels and the sauce is that good. An 8.5. Both fish courses were very good, almost excellent. Crab stuffed flounder piccata and jerked snapper. Both a 7 or 8 and a large piece of fish. Not a portion size off a sysco truck, it seems. The bartender was attentive and knowledgeable. He was very busy, but made our time enjoyable.Well done to FB's Crab Trap!“
