“From the moment the hostess smiled as she cheerfully greeted me at the door to the knowledgeable and personable presence of my server Brittany...I knew I was going to have a delightful experience.

The crab cake was perfectly crusted, most and fully.
The Cesar was crisp and fresh with an adequate amount of dressing and generous shavings of fresh Parmesan.
The filet was tender to perfection in the most delicious red wine reduction and topped with flavorful grilled mushrooms satisfying all my senses and leaving nothing to be desired except for dessert... Of which I did also indulge.
The key lime pie was precisely portions not to overload your tummy but add the final touch of sweetness to your dining experience.

Deciding to take my sistie out for her birthday, TSG appeared in my Yelp search results. Exploring the images and the reviews that appeared I decided to checkout the website. After falling in love with the menu it was a green light. I clicked the link to make a reservation and was taken to Open Table. The process itself was simple, easy, and to the point. Once it was booked I was able to send the info to all those in my party as they could add it to their calendars. As we decided to go on a Saturday at 2:15 pm, I called TSG the day before to ensure that when they closed at 3:00 pm we wouldn’t have to leave. As I anticipated, since we would be inside already, we didn’t have to depart while they switched over from brunch to lunch/dinner. The young lady who answered the phone was super pleasant, very vibrant, and understood my question. She provided first call resolution and further enhanced my excitement to experience TSG. Can you tell it was my first time? LoL!!! Finally Saturday was upon us and it was time to go. As TSG sits in the area with all the shops, parking wasn’t the easiest on the street, however, there is a valet option. TSG sits on the upper level so needless to say I was lost for a few minutes. 😂😂😂😂😂 Walking up to the restaurant, the scenery is gorgeous and the ambiance is immediately set. Beautiful clean lines, white drapes, open patio, glass front, I’m talking all of that and more. The space is infectious and truly draws you in. “I had the incredible pleasure of the Miller Union experience last Saturday. I run a small nonprofit meal ministry program in Gwinnett and I am a colleague of your Executive Pastry Chef's mother. Being from industry, but now serving in a different manner, I must say how satisfying it is to know that considering the major challenges presently in the restaurant industry, you have built a culture of service, professionalism, precision and family that is simply impossible to find. You were flawless on that night. I claimed time out of my busy schedule to treat myself, I didn’t have a reservation but was granted the best seat in the house, at the bar, on the corner, right at the service area next to the ticket stabber and the printer. You might ask, why that seat was so great... well, for the first time in 35 years I had no responsibilities being that close to the start and finish of an order. I knew I was in the right place to do something I'd never done before and that was to take my hands off the wheel and allow the environment to take control. I asked, who I believed to be the Sommelier (sorry can't recall his name)to order for me. Of course he would line me up with the best wines without sacrificing my mortgage payment, lol by my request, but I kept eyeballing those Sailor's Greetings passing by and had to inquire. The Bartender was "straight fire" and gave me the scoop... a reduction of muscadine wine!!!! WHAT!!! Anyway, the Pork Belly, the Field Pea and Peanut Salad, all amazing. Okay I had to look this... Unicorn in the eyes. Now it's Saturday night so I didn't expect Chef Steven Satterfield to be present but low and behold, he was there. I couldn't see him because he was doing what he was supposed to be doing... Driving the Bus! So after an awesome experience thus far and a visit from who I believe was the FOH Maestro, Neal MaCarthy, it was on to the reason I was there… to experience the offerings of Chef Claudia Martinez. Her team did not disappoint. Again I left it up to the BOH and BAM!!!...the Doughnuts!!! Just phenomenal. So I wrapped up and called for my car and on my way out I was saluted by GM Vince Landi and informed Chef Satterfield had a moment and he was kind enough to greet me. “I am a naturalized citizen who has gone through multiple long wait, high uncertainty scenarios during my life with visas, immigration etc. Normally these places are full of unfriendly annoyed people who give more stress than comfort. I needed a passport renewal urgently for a flight I had in 2 days and so i scheduled an early appointment and headed there. The people at this agency including the person up front, the security as well as people in the agency were very helpful and the process was very efficient and organized. I still had to come back after 6 hours to pick up but overall this is a good agency and one of my better experiences. If you are stuck with a emergency need make sure you set an appt and head early.“

Jennifer, one of the managers has built an amazing relationship with my spouse and I. Her attention to detail is second to none. She remembers everything that we enjoy, the flavors we love and the food compositions that excite our palate, and she delivers one of a kind specialties. “TOL Midtown was a nice experience for a Saturday Brunch. With a party of 12; TOL had our table ready for us within 30 minutes of arrival. With it being a busy day I understand the logistics of having just enough seats for everyone. So because two of our party were not reserved they could not garner two additional chairs. We were provided options and continued with our dining. The waitress was knowledgeable and non hesitant on any questions or concerns we had. The food came out reasonably quick with awesome presentation. Drinks were dead on with one negative. The did not have any screwball so I substituted with regular Jamie son's which took away from the experience but it still had ample alcohol. I order the beef skillet with scrambled cheese eggs and a side of cheese grits. Overall good experience.
