It is a must-have on your plate. If you are going to have two side items, you better include the Collier Greens with the Mac and Cheese. Those tender, mouth-watering, perfectly seasoned green with the aroma that is reminiscent of holidays and Sunday dinner being cooked in the kitchen. I told the owner and Chief Bryant “Chef Baul” Williams that his Mac and Cheese and Greens made me want to go home and question my grandmother's Mac and cheese and Greens. He looked into my eyes and said, "No... Franco don't do that. " He knew that was grounds for Grandma to disown me with one backhand slap. I can't put in words how good the crispy batter of the fish that falls apart on your plate once your folks cut into it. I have to emphasize the seasoning, the flavor, the touch is so delightful and tasty that I refuse to dilute the dish by putting any type of condiments on it. I couldn't tell the difference between this fish and any fish from some of the best seafood restaurants in Savannah, GA that I have had. Whatever you get is going to be an excellent buy. I have been running through the menu like a mailman running from a pit bull thinking, "What's next!" If you buy lobster, fish, wings, or turkey, of anything it is date night restaurant food. The food is a reflection of Chelf Baul global and culinary experience that should have a location on Chicago's "Magnificent Mile" and Los Angeles Rodeo Drive. All too often, many people come to Atlanta and stand on the shoulders of Atlanta's spirit to support businesses when the individuals are not from Atlanta nor identify with their customers. Whatever you do, don't miss out on the wonderful experience food experience. There are so many options on the menu. A true Ginuwine Atlanta native who speaks your language and knows your heart, soul, palate, and stomach that has perfected Georgia, southern cuisine, national, and international dishes. “Dorothy Mae's is top tier ! I am from NC, so I KNOW good soul food. When I tell you they know what they are doing back in that kitchen, THEY DO ‼️ The customer service was amazing as well. The staff brought a container of fresh outta the grease catfish for us to sample as we waited for our food. It was delicious ! We ordered some of everything on the menu and it was all amazing, cooked to order, and so flavorful. I brought a piece of sweet potato pie back to the hotel for dessert and can't wait to try it. On their web page, it appears they are moving from Boxete to their own spot in Tucker, GA in a few weeks. This gem is terrific and they offer a catering menu as well. The prices are great, too.“

“Nah. This might be the BEST Soul Food I had in ATL. The Mac and Cheese was what it was supposed to be! Amaze! And the Collards, I don’t know what they put in it but baby! When I tell you I always add hot sauce to my greens no matter what and almost went back in to ask for some… then I tasted it and it was so full of flavor (not spice) that I didn’t even need the hot or want to mess up what it was already givin’!

I only had three sides but I’m coming back to try a full on meal! Inshallah

“I tried this place for lunch and I am glad I made the trip. Their service was friendly and answered my questions about possible options to get. I went with the jerk ribs rice & peas cabbage and a side of plantains. The only thing that was left were the bones. Sure enough some of that sauce was on my shirt. If you pick up the ribs with your hands just be ready to catch them with your plate. They fall off the bone type of ribs. There was some bbq sauce but blended well with the season. The cabbage was seasoned and tasted freshly cooked. Let's talk about the plantains. Perfectly cut and cooked. I can't even get that can of plantain quality in a Spanish restaurant. Best I have had. They do have a lunch special and plenty of side options. My only regret is not trying their juice. Next time I am trying the jerk chicken and stew.“

I’ve never ordered a lasagna that was that tiny so yea consider offering at least two slices and surround those slices with marinara to make an appropriate serving size. The lemon cake was pretty good it was moist and the lemon flavor was not overpowering.“

“I visited this restaurant on a Thursday evening and the restaurant had a brisk clientele. The waitress came to our table immediately and asked for our drink orders and brought them back very quickly. I ordered the above items and in less than 15minutes i had my order and it was hot and seasoned to perfection. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants a quick wholesome meal, with all taste you remember from growing up.“
