“This was my first time visiting, and I was pleasantly impressed from the moment I walked up. Although it’s not a dine in it’s very welcoming. You place your order at the window and there is an covered outside eating area. I arrived about an hour before closing, and unlike many restaurants where options become limited near the end of the day, they still had a great selection of sides and entrées available. That immediately made a positive impression on me.
I ordered a veggie plate with black-eyed peas, cornbread dressing, and potato salad, along with an extra side of broccoli casserole. Every single item was delicious. The cornbread dressing was moist and seasoned perfectly. The potato salad was absolutely on point something that many places don’t quite get right, but they definitely did. The broccoli casserole was perfectly baked, flavorful, and a great addition to the meal.
What really put the icing on the cake was the customer service. The owner was personable, friendly, and approachable, which added to the overall experience. As someone who truly appreciates both quality food and excellent customer service, I left very satisfied. I don’t have any photos because I was too busy eating.
Overall, this was a wonderful experience with great food, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to visiting again in the near future.“

“JenChan’s is a friendly neighborhood hangout with an amazing menu, friendly waiters, and a wide selection of games. The food is always fantastic and the drinks are always strong & cold. I would recommend the ginger margarita slushies, the fried mushrooms, and any of the pizzas!!!“

“My husband and I came here for the first time on New Year’s Eve. Parking was easy and from the moment we walked in we were greeted. We were seated immediately at a nice table and were given time to soak in the atmosphere and look over the menu. I ordered the Rockefeller oysters and a Long Island, both were delicious and did not disappoint! My husband had a jack and coke. For our entree I had the salmon sliders( which were recommended by our waitress) they were filling and oh sooo good! My husband had wings and truffle fries which were nice and crispy. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves 10/10 I recommend.“

“I had the incredible pleasure of the Miller Union experience last Saturday. I run a small nonprofit meal ministry program in Gwinnett and I am a colleague of your Executive Pastry Chef's mother. Being from industry, but now serving in a different manner, I must say how satisfying it is to know that considering the major challenges presently in the restaurant industry, you have built a culture of service, professionalism, precision and family that is simply impossible to find. You were flawless on that night. I claimed time out of my busy schedule to treat myself, I didn’t have a reservation but was granted the best seat in the house, at the bar, on the corner, right at the service area next to the ticket stabber and the printer. You might ask, why that seat was so great... well, for the first time in 35 years I had no responsibilities being that close to the start and finish of an order. I knew I was in the right place to do something I'd never done before and that was to take my hands off the wheel and allow the environment to take control. I asked, who I believed to be the Sommelier (sorry can't recall his name)to order for me. Of course he would line me up with the best wines without sacrificing my mortgage payment, lol by my request, but I kept eyeballing those Sailor's Greetings passing by and had to inquire. The Bartender was "straight fire" and gave me the scoop... a reduction of muscadine wine!!!! WHAT!!! Anyway, the Pork Belly, the Field Pea and Peanut Salad, all amazing. When it came to the entree I had to pump the breaks on the house choice... I saw Collard Greens with the Pork Loin... being born and raised in the South, I had to know. The moment of truth, Wow! Okay I had to look this... Unicorn in the eyes. Now it's Saturday night so I didn't expect Chef Steven Satterfield to be present but low and behold, he was there. I couldn't see him because he was doing what he was supposed to be doing... Driving the Bus! So after an awesome experience thus far and a visit from who I believe was the FOH Maestro, Neal MaCarthy, it was on to the reason I was there… to experience the offerings of Chef Claudia Martinez. Her team did not disappoint. Again I left it up to the BOH and BAM!!!...the Doughnuts!!! Just phenomenal. So I wrapped up and called for my car and on my way out I was saluted by GM Vince Landi and informed Chef Satterfield had a moment and he was kind enough to greet me. Needless to say, I was honored and proud of know our industry's best days are ahead of us. Thank you Miller Union and Chef Satterfield for a night to remember and for continuing to carry the torch. “Atlanta is renowned for its southern spice chicken, and this place is no exception. I stumbled upon it on a whim after reading countless positive reviews. The first impression was like stepping into a gas station kitchen. We ordered the half bird all black, which includes thighs and legs, with a medium spice level. To complement the chicken, we also got coleslaw as a side.
The service was prompt, and we received our order in no time. The chicken was simply incredible. The spice blend was perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of heat. The skin was crispy and golden brown, while the meat inside was juicy, fresh, and tender. It was one of the best fried chicken dishes I’ve ever had in recent memory.
Every bite was a delightful combination of the spicy, crispy skin and the juicy, tender meat. The flavor was well-rounded, and I never felt any spice overpowering the taste. The medium spice level was just right for me, not too spicy or too mild.
Overall, this place is a must-try for anyone who loves fried chicken. It’s a hidden gem in Atlanta that you won’t want to miss.“

“My friend girl brought me to this restaurant for my birthday. I had the turkey ribs, collards, yams and Mac and cheese and the bread pudding, we even tried the fried green tomato,she had the turkey wings. OH ! My gosh the food was sooo, ( never heard of nor had a turkey ribs) it was so tender and the sauce was point on. I don't mind paying a good piece if the service and food is great. When I left this restaurant I took a picture and posted on Facebook, telling everybody I know about this fabulous time at this place and they got to try it out. The service, and my waiter was a 10 .plus“

“Super yummy. Food to rave about. So so good. I got the bottomless coffee. I was in the mood for pancakes with fruit and the photos looked good on google. I got the pancakes with bananas and pecans. The syrup was hot and everything just melted in my mouth. I also ordered the shrimp and grits as it is a southern specialty. I wasn't super impressed with the dish in the past at other restaurants, but the photos looked promising. Bluebird's shrimp and grits with cheese was savory, with slightly sweet shrimp, great texture, and I loved the dish. I knew I wouldn't be able to eat it all but still wanted the experience and to try it and took the extra to go. The decor was eclectic and whimsical. I loved the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend supporting this business or bring friends here. You can't get food made like this in a chain. Glad I chose to stop here today. There is a 20% tip added to the bill so expect that when you go. I normally tip at least 20% anyway and tipped more this time.“

“My husband and I had an incredible dining experience at Georgia Boy. Every course was amazing and the creativity of each dish blew us away. “I visited this restaurant on a Thursday evening and the restaurant had a brisk clientele. The waitress came to our table immediately and asked for our drink orders and brought them back very quickly. I ordered the above items and in less than 15minutes i had my order and it was hot and seasoned to perfection. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants a quick wholesome meal, with all taste you remember from growing up.“

“I ordered Flying Biscuit catering for an event I had for my interns and when I tell you blown away! The communication and timeliness of the staff. The lady (I'm mad I didn't get her name) she was so sweet. I told her I could set up and she said nope she's got it. They came prepared with everything! I ordered stuff and I didn't even need it because the came with plates, utensils, water, etc they were truly amazing! Will continue to use Flying Biscuit!“

“Where to start? What a delightful evening and meal. The waiter, to start with, was amazingly attentive and kept up with us the entire evening. Also the owner came over and filled us in on the recent history. Liquor license is in now but I don't drink so that was not important. Let me segue to the food. OMG, the mushroom and goat cheese fondue with tomato jam was to die for. It was served in a cast iron skillet with plenty of toast. The sauce was so rich and creamy. To keep this under an hour and a half reading let me say my bride's steak was perfect along with the brussel sprouts and kale. Let me tell you about the pork chop. I like my pork chops to be medium rare if possible and it was perfectly pink inside. I try my best to get that look and I always overcome them. The sweet potato puree asking with the brussel sprouts was outstanding. The portions were very generous and couldn't ask anything better for a Monday night meal. OK, then there was the bread pudding. Oh, Lord, when I tasted the whiskey I almost fell in the floor. So, let me say to the people who has a bad time at the restaurant that they are hitting on all cylinders. I can understand a Karen or two that have nothing better to do than be haters, especially after the opening of the restaurants after COVID. I get it. Why not try to come back and give it another chance. They deserve it and you could use a good meal to chill out.“
