When my husband's steak came out medium well instead of med rare, it was quickly whisked away, and it's replacement was brought by who we assume was the manager on duty with an apology. Other than that, the food was lovely, the drinks were tasty, and the ambience was exactly what we wanted: a bit refined without being stuffy. Would definitely choose again.“

Well just to let everyone know if you like trying new stuff or like to experience different food this is the place to go. I’ve never gave a restaurant a 5 thumbs up 👍🏼, but I was so impressed and my 12 year old granddaughter was also as much as my cousin and her 17 year old daughter. The vibe was awesome the waitress and manager made us feel so welcome even the hostess was really friendly. We sat outside and it was so relaxing and cozy. I can’t even brag enough on the food, workers, and the atmosphere there. We are already planning birthday trips and having family join us for the experience. “Our second trip to GSG was not as pleasant as the first. Our table was plagued with several flies that harassed us our entire meal, I actually dispatched an ant crawling on the table too. Our smoked fish dip appetizer was extremely “fishy” like it was made with mullet or something. It was not good. We each tried one taste and left it alone. The crab stew was great. My triple tail special was great. My daughter’s bacon poached salmon was supposed to be prepared medium, but it was rare…very. So, I wound up trading her a portion of my dinner so she would not have to eat almost raw fish. Overall, I expected much more consistent greatness given the difficulty we have had obtaining a reservation. Disappointed“

“On the trip home we stopped in Brunswick GA area off I-95 for Breakfast at Waffle House! We do not have one of these in Ripley and the kids LOVE LOVE LOVE Some waffles! Deacon went with Chocolate Chip Waffles *very surprised Saige didn't she's a chocolateholic! But she went with regular Waffles and both had Bacon as their sides with Deacon choosing Sprite and Saige Apple Juice!
Kayla had a scrambled cheesy egg with sausage, toast and hash browns with cheese and water! I went with Fried Egg, Bacon and Toast!

“Was excited to try after reading reviews. Seated quickly and server took drink orders. Then the world stopped. After waiting 55 minutes we inquired about our order and learned from the hostess there was no “cook” in the kitchen. This became apparent when we noticed only one table in the entire restaurant, both inside and outside, had food on the table. Sadly, the food we did see didn’t look particularly good either. Plenty of other dining establishments nearby…do yourself a favor take a pass on this place! 1/17/23“

“For the exception of ruining my Anniversary celebration that I had planned, everything else was okay. The food was good! Drinks were just strong enough and not just watered down! View was stunning! Service was average, I had called days in advance to reserve indoor window seating to celebrate our Anniversary. I had planned a whole “thing” I was going to do near the stunning view of the window for the wife. When we arrived they pulled our information and one lady asked us “indoor or outdoor?” The other hostess told her the system said “indoor with window seating” and gave her a look of disappointment. As they walked me to my sitting area it was not window seating and table was wobbly. I was unable to do my whole “thing” I had planned and just started off the evening not on a good start, but drinks made up for it 🤷‍♂️😒“

“I went rather late to dinner and when I got there, it took a good little while before someone greeted me and then seated me. Then once I got seated it was a little while before my waiter showed up but he was sweet and took good care of me thereafter. The food was excellent as always. The atmosphere was a little bland. There were a lot of large groups there tonight but they weren't noisy. They just took up the staff's time, energy, and attention. I don't normally go this late in the evening so I don't know if this is normal or not. I would go again earlier in the evening.“
