The food was superb but what was exceptional was our server, Edgar: We mentioned a food allergy and he was proactive about everything we were served reiterating what was safe for the person impacted. Kennedy, the manager was especially attentive and friendly as well. It's so refreshing to experience great food and exceptional service. We'll definitely be back.“

“Beautiful modern venue. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking lot is very dark at night (so the lights don't disturb nesting sea turtles!) so bringing a flashlight to find your vehicle in the dark is recommended. Right on the beach!“

“I’m a very opinionated person and I’m tough to be completely impressed with a restaurant, but this place was awesome. I was at first concerned as my family was would we like the food. Well just to let everyone know if you like trying new stuff or like to experience different food this is the place to go. I’ve never gave a restaurant a 5 thumbs up 👍🏼, but I was so impressed and my 12 year old granddaughter was also as much as my cousin and her 17 year old daughter. The vibe was awesome the waitress and manager made us feel so welcome even the hostess was really friendly. We sat outside and it was so relaxing and cozy. I can’t even brag enough on the food, workers, and the atmosphere there. We are already planning birthday trips and having family join us for the experience. “Although we have been regulars at Reids for the past few years (with a strong attempt at never missing a Sunday dinner!) they really outdid themselves during my 40th birthday! you can always count on their great food, amazing atmosphere, and awesome staff that works on ensuring your whole party finds the experience memorable and that the staff is part of our family. We are moving down to Jacksonville at the end of the month, yet have already made plans to come back routinely for the Reids experience! If you haven't been there yet, it's a must go!“

“I live out of town & go to Brunswick at least once every week & eat at Maggie Mae’s. They are so nice, very fast service, always checking on you & the food is Amazing! I definitely recommend them!! They even serve breakfast all day. I just wish they were open later. Sometimes my appointments are after 2 pm & they’re closed so I miss out but I always eat here whenever I can! Lovely people & great atmosphere!“

“The selection of burgers is great! They offer many options including meat-free. I tried the Greektown burger which has lamb and beef. It was delicious! I definitely recommend this place. Come hungry because the burgers are big! My photo is the Greektown burger and tater tots.“

“We have been going to the island for many years and have never stopped at HDA. What a mistake! My wife and I just wanted a simple meal at a good price. We did not even look at the hours but rolled up at 2:00 pm, their closing time. The ladies were so kind and did not say a word that they were closing. We both got jumbo dogs with the fixings and potato salad. I then noticed the hours and apologized but they were happy to serve us. Food was delicious and we sat on the deck with our lab and watched the world go by. Ladies offered our pup a treat as well. This is now a definite stop for us on the island.“

“Our second trip to GSG was not as pleasant as the first. Our table was plagued with several flies that harassed us our entire meal, I actually dispatched an ant crawling on the table too. Our smoked fish dip appetizer was extremely “fishy” like it was made with mullet or something. It was not good. We each tried one taste and left it alone. The crab stew was great. My triple tail special was great. My daughter’s bacon poached salmon was supposed to be prepared medium, but it was rare…very. So, I wound up trading her a portion of my dinner so she would not have to eat almost raw fish. Overall, I expected much more consistent greatness given the difficulty we have had obtaining a reservation. Disappointed“

“We recently had our wedding reception here. I cannot say enough great things about Benny's! The staff were top notch in every way. The food was amazing, no one left hungry and the dance floor was tore up by us and Ida(a wonderful employee). Our bartenders, Jessica & Angie,were wonderful and very welcoming and an absolute joy to talk to. We had Guests from all over the US and Canada join us. I would give Benny's a 10 out of 10 all day long. ALL of us Loved this place and will always make a point of visiting whenever we are in the area. “The River Bar is a terrific lobby option at The Cloisters Sea Island. The friendly professional staff greets you at the host stand and at the bar. We enjoyed a quick burger and beer our first night at the resort. We especially loved their three appetizer bowl with pickled beans, and two bowls of peanut. The bar area also has ample tables and a gorgeous dining room with a roaring fireplace. Very posh decor.

Staff were friendly and engaging and responded seamlessly to special requests. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. This is the room for those who prefer business casual.“

After waiting 55 minutes we inquired about our order and learned from the hostess there was no “cook” in the kitchen. This became apparent when we noticed only one table in the entire restaurant, both inside and outside, had food on the table. Sadly, the food we did see didn’t look particularly good either. The views are simply spectacular, and to be honest the food,music, and drinks were totally amazing! I was expecting very little with the food and the service, but it was phenomenal. Service was average, I had called days in advance to reserve indoor window seating to celebrate our Anniversary. I had planned a whole “thing” I was going to do near the stunning view of the window for the wife. When we arrived they pulled our information and one lady asked us “indoor or outdoor?” The other hostess told her the system said “indoor with window seating” and gave her a look of disappointment. As they walked me to my sitting area it was not window seating and table was wobbly. I was unable to do my whole “thing” I had planned and just started off the evening not on a good start, but drinks made up for it 🤷‍♂️😒“

“The service and food quality are very good. I had the Longhorn Signature, rib eye, and chop steak. I ate it medium-low and it was cooked very evenly. I ordered mac and cheese, baked potatoes, and mashed potatoes on the side. The mac and cheese was a bit salty, but the rest was delicious.“
