“I literally never leave reviews but, I’m southeast asian and I Can’t believe this place isn’t packed ALL the time. Reminds me of monkey68 in downtown Alpharetta, except way better priced.

Everything from the food service, quality of fish, quality of each dish, how authentic each dish tastes, i’m in love and so excited to have moved right down the street.

“I've been here several times over the last few years. Before the pandemic, the food was almost always delicious. For a period during the early months of the pandemic, the food was not up to par...definitely a change in cook. But, I've been back a handful of times in recent months and now it's back on par. Takeout is just as good.“

“Hands down, the best sushi I've ever had. They incorporate truffle oil in some of their rolls and if you like truffle, you cannot go wrong. Very savory. I'd recommend the avocado balls, crunchy spicy tuna roll and the snow crab in miso soup. The truffle aioli salmon appetizer is another hit. The cocktails - Wow! Thai Me Up is a their version of a spicy margarita but they use some sort of oil and it is delicious! I'll be craving that drink for a long time. It's not cheap but if you're looking for a treat or have a special occasion, it's a full recommend from me! “I’m new to the area and decided to give this place a try JP Sushi and I’m so glad I did! The food was absolutely excellent, fresh, and full of flavor. You can tell they really care about quality, and every dish we tried was made with attention to detail.

Being new here, it’s nice to find a spot that feels welcoming, and the staff were friendly and helpful in making recommendations. I’m looking forward to coming back regularly and trying more of the menu!“

“Budi’s is our favorite sushi place, period. The food is always fresh and delicious. They also have a good kids’ menu and variety of options besides sushi in case anyone in the family wants some other type of Japanese food. My kids love that they have Ramune in several different flavors. I ordered more rolls than usual tonight, and they made us this beautiful platter to go. The Orange Dragon roll is amazing and might be a new addition (you can order from their website - not sure about the apps).“

The crab rangoon were perfectly crispy and the miso soup was a great start to the meal and still hot when it arrived home. “We were spoiled while visiting our friends in GA and this is one of the restaurants we were treated to. The menu was extensive and I couldn’t decide so asked the very accommodating waitress to ask the chef if he would make me a spicy platter that my husband quickly wanted in on.Wow!!! Was it awesome!! So beautiful and tasty and fresh and inviting. We thanked them all on the way out and suggested they add this platter to their menu as the ‘Spicy since we are from Canada. 😊. Well done!!“

“I came here for lunch with my husband. There were a good amount of people on the waitlist but everyone was seated quickly - they were on top of getting people seated! There is a huge assortment of sushi and sashimi and plenty of other non-sushi items (some of our favorites were the ginger salad, glass noodles, cream shrimp, and a skewered chicken in sauce which I cannot remember the name of!). We didn’t even have room to try everything there was so much to choose from. Heads up - they have soups in the back corner that look yummy along with prepped bowls of various noodles to start with if you wish. Bonus: chocolate fountain! “Love this restaurant. Fly to PDK ATLANTA every month. The plane lands at 11 and by noon I am sitting with family and friends enjoying one of my favorite restaurants. The serving staff is excellent. Food is always consistently great. I've seen other reviews complain about the prices but I find the prices consistent with other sushi restaurants but the food and service here far exceeds most. Best value, for highest quality freshest fish.

“They have a dollar nigiri special on Sundays and Mondays! The rolls are a bit more, but definitely worth it. It’s a nice, small restaurant, and you get what you pay for. My personal favorite is the spicy salmon rolls—as you can tell from the photos. Definitely a great place to om nom“

“The sashimi platter was delicious, and I appreciated the variety of fish options. However, for someone sensitive to texture, some of the sushi was a bit challenging to eat due to the mix of soft, crunchy, and chewy pieces. Some flavors were incredibly bold and left me craving more. The service was excellent, though I did notice that the prices have increased significantly.

“Very elegant dining room, and an excellent screened in patio. Attentive wait staff, tasty food, wide variety of Japanese food, and not always crowded. Extensive wine selection, and they make the sushi in sight of the dining room. Very fresh food, and they have some that is cooked, if sushi is not the thing for everyone in your party. Someone in our family has allergies, and they were able to accommodate them completely. No letdown of food quality or variety as they made sure it was safe for all.“
