“Last week stopped by Big Shanty Smokehouse in Kennesaw, Georgia. I’ve been going here for years and always has been one of my favorite places in Georgia. Paul Holden of Willingham's World Champion BBQ recently took over as the new owner in August and excited to see what he continues to bring. He’s top notch pitmaster in the competition world but also has been in the restaurant business as well. I got the brisket which was amazing and also some of their signature Turkey ribs (Friday Special) and of course some Brunswick stew and Mac & Cheese. Everything was very good and will be back soon. Currently they are open Wed-Thursday 11am-2pm & Friday-Saturday 11am-7pm. (So stop by and see them.) “I have been going to this place for years. Food is always sooo good. Service is fast and people are friendly.

There are premade breakfast items that you choose and they add to a to-go container. Everything I’ve had is good. Items are regular breakfast items - eggs (multiple ways), bacon, sausage, grits, French toast, etc.

Location does have a couple of tables to sit at but I’ve never seen anyone sit inside, there are a couple picnic tables outside and we sit there.

“This location is nice and clean but also terrible at listening and making our orders correct. I bring an elderly parent here at least twice and week and in eight months of visits, our orders have been 100% correct maybe 25% of the time. Something is is ALWAYS wrong or left off. I’m wondering if someone in the kitchen is literally reading challenged or is everyone just not listening. The East Cobb CSC only messed up once in five years of regular visits and that was because of a computer crash.“

“Stumbled upon this spot while in the area. I'm so glad I did. It has an open inviting dining space and friendly atmosphere. The food was delicious and hit the spot. I ordered the biscuit with fried chicken, goat cheese, and pepper jelly. The pepper jelly gave it just the right amount of kick! I also got a vanilla maple latte which was one of the best coffee drinks I've had in a long time.“

“I've order from here several times and the food is always delicious. My favorites are the baked turkey wings and the kale greens. This would be a five star review, were it not for 2 things. 1. The waitress, while not outright rude to me, isn't the friendliest ay times and seems bothered sometimes. 2. There business hours say they're open until 8pm. On 3 different occasions I've gotten there between 7:30pm and 7:40pm and they were already putting the food away and would not serve me. I even tried calling before 7:30pm to place my order so that it would be ready when I arrived but no one answered the phone. If you're going to start clean up and stop taking orders at 7:30pm then you should change your time of closing to 7:30pm instead of 8pm on weekdays.“

“They got their grandma in the back cooking the food, cause ain’t no way the food taste that good. It taste like something a grand mother will make. flavorful, just rich!. i’ve had indian food everywhere, but this is by far the best indian food i’ve had. Never had chicken butter masala that good! ordered 2 times in a roll over the span of 2 days. i’m suprised they got 4.2 stars.“

“I can't believe I forgot to mention the staff at Bojangles. This was my very first time visiting here . Me and my gf went to Tellus Science Center and stopped in to eat. These ladies here were absolutely the most friendliest down to earth people I've ever had the pleasure to meet at a fast food chain. I wish I lived closer because I would definitely go back. “My party walked in and placed a pretty sizable order. We sat down and realized the restaurant was closing in 5 minutes. I apologized and told the cashier we would take it to go- we had no idea they were closing. All of the staff were genuinely kind and accommodating, inviting us to dine in if we’d like. We did end up taking it to go (with a kind bonus of peach cobbler), and even though the food is outSTANDING- crispy and flavorful wings, juicy ribs, etc- we are impressed with the professionalism of the team working tonight.
