“I was looking for a great Jamaican restaurant in the area and I found it. The food and service were excellent!! I ordered brown stew chicken, rice and peas, cabbage, plantains, beef patty and ginger/fruit punch drink. All tasted authentic, like real Jamaican home cooking. I am Jamaican so I know?. Lorna and her staff are friendly and truly seem to care about the quality of the food they serve. Looking forward to trying everything on the menu.“

“Lunch time is where it's at. I love the music, atmosphere, the vibrant colors and colorful food combinations.Vegetarian options: I had the BBQ Black Bean Burger and it was delicious. It comes with a guava avacado sauce. I was hesitant at first, however, it was made for a great addition.“

“My family and I have been coming here since it first opened and we have absolutely loved eating their chicken! It is currently our favorite and #1 place for pollo a la brasa (peruvian rotisserie chicken) in GA. Although not the best peruvian restaurant overall, it surely beats all others only with their really outstanding chicken. If you want to find even better chicken, you'd have to go many hours away to other states.It's great priced, good quality (mainly the chicken), and well portioned.Pollo a la brasa 9/10- It's really juicy and flavorful! It outranks other peruvian restaurants that offer pollo a la brasa in Georgia through its portion size and notable quality of authentic spices of the marinade flavor. The strong and greatly seasoned flavors from the spices is embedded deep into the chicken meat and is not just skin deep like other peruvian restaurants. It was bursting with all the right flavors but was missing the most authentic one, and that is the wood-fired smoky flavor that comes from using a wood fired oven instead of a regular oven. One thing I enjoyed a lot was that the fries were actually crunchy and not soggy like most other restaurants have them. They are not homemade and seem to be frozen fries but it's better than soggy fries. Like in any other restaurant, it can vary depending on their product inventory and who is cooking the fries. Despite that, the fries were not seasoned and rely on the sauces to make up for it.Sauces 8/10- flavorful but not my favorite. The sauces have good herbal taste but lack other flavors and salt.It's the right flavor but just lacks a special touch. I recommend adding salt and a touch of zest from vinegar or a few drops of lemon. Regardless, it pairs well with the chicken and fries. The salad vinaigrette is delicious and well made.Arroz chaufa side 2/10 - the thing I least recommend here. Although it looks delicious on picture, the flavor is bland.It's lacking everything that authentic peruvian fried rice would offer. They definitely focused on the quality of the chicken more than this side.Kid-friendliness: Which kid doesn't love chicken? If not, there is salchipapas that kids often enjoy.Wheelchair accessibility: No dislevels to reach the restaurant and both the ordering counter and tables would pose no issues for those in a wheelchair.“

“Tasty food, good prices, and friendly service. The lechon asado was like pernil in Puerto Rico. Very delicious. I love getting the fried yucca as well. They do it right. The congris rice was okay, but next time I think I'll stick with yellow rice because the extra calories weren't worth it to me flavorwise. The thin palomilla steak was also tasty, but lacked a bit of salt. Hurricane drink was strong and well prepared. Love it here!“

“The yuca fried was plentiful and delicious. I am not a big fan of the ketchup-mayo dipping sauce it comes with, but another person at the table liked it. The empanadas were tasty and high quality shredded beef inside. The Don Julio margarita I had was strong but not my favorite tbh.The prices here are generally more expensive than going to Papi's Cuban, but Armandos is the only place like this around for a 20 minute drive.“

“The rice and peas are cooked to Perfection and the jerk sauce is nice and spicy. I came because I'm getting my car serviced next door and needed food. The sweet cool gave me plantains and cabbage for free. It's a small family business vibe inside. The staff are really Jamaicans so the food on point. “Nice tuck away Gem in Lawrenceville with delicious cuisine. Bel manner stays true to its Haitian roots, refraining from Americanizing the food. The portion was worth the value. We fed a family of 4 on one order. The customer service was better than expected, and the food came out promptly: I received my food within 15 minutes of arriving. I will definitely go back.“

It also SMELLED clean, you can tell they must clean daily. The young man that served me was very kind and generous. “I had the Caribbean cheese burger with fries and a salad. I love salad. The salad came with a white vinegar with onions and cucumber chunks in the dressing. Amazing meal. “Some of the best jerk I’ve had in America, yes, the entire country. It’s hard to find authentic Jamaican jerk but this place does it. I’ve lived in NY and ATL, this spot gets it right 95% of the time. They sell out a lot but it’s worth the headache lol.“

“I’m not sure what changed at this location but this is usually my go to place for lunch. I got the barbi jerk with rice n peas and the chicken was great but the peas in the rice was under cooked. It was still kind of hard. The customer service was great.“
