The portion size was small compared to the pricing. However, the quality and taste was outstanding. They automatically add a 20%tip to the bill, this is mentioned on the menu so it was not a surprise. The staff worked in such harmony that the differently earned the 20% and more.If you are looking for a place with friendly staff and great food this is the place.“
“We were told of this place by a friend! We went to the Italian Place owned by the same owners only 50 feet away and it was an experience ad well! Top Notch for the West Side! The server Tim was AMAZING but OREATHAS.... speechless. The Chef Lucky and the Bartender Bre were great! My Seafood dish was unavailable at the Italion spot so I wanted food, I order the Crawfish Fries but their is a fancy name I can't remember but it was great! “Stumbled across this hidden gem in Marietta and so glad I did. This place is BOMB! This is the best soul food I’ve had in ATL. Very reasonably priced and the food quality is amazing. I had the smothered porkchops, Mac n cheese, collard greens and cabbage. The first bite of smothered pork chops made me do a little jig they were so good. Sides were super good too lol. “Barrio ATL is an entire VIBEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! I ended up here on a Thursday. I was in the Cascade area and in the mood for tacos. After a search on Yelp Barrio ATL popped up and was where we headed for the night. As a heads up, Barrio ATL sits in the corner of the strip plaza. As such, the parking can be a bit tight so be sure to choose a space accordingly. Upon walking in, the ambiance puts you in the mindset of a trendy hookah lounge. Wall seating, chairs, and tables are to the left, and a VIP area style is to the right. The DJ is directly to the left of the VIP area and the bar area is to the left of the DJ. The building is medium-sized and build rectangular so there is ample length as compared to the width. There was no one at the Hostess booth when I walked in, however, the young lady got up from one of the tables in the back, greeted me, and quickly took us to our table. Once seated, the waitress assigned to our table came over and was super nice and welcoming. She introduced herself as Shay and went over the specials for the night. As the ambiance is more than just a casual bar, Shay’s service was superior. Her personality shined and she enhanced the overall experience of the night. Thank you, Shay! Based on the specials for the night I decided to go with the 3 Chicken Birriia Tacos for $9 (this was a great deal as they are usually $20) and a side of fries. As they didn’t have Sweet Tea on the menu I ordered a bottle of water. Shout out to Barrio ATL for serving Fiji. Ha. Babeeeeeeeeee… Here me when I tell you… I don’t know what kind of potatoes these fries were made with but they were the BOMBBBBBBBB. They were thick, perfectly fried, golden to perfection, and well seasoned. For the record, I would go back for the fries alone. LoL! The birria tacos were good as well. As this was my first time having them I don’t have anything to compare them to, however, I enjoyed the experience. The crunchiness of the taco shell with the well-seasoned chicken. The birria consomé was well seasoned and definitely enhanced the flavor of the taco, as such, for my first birria experience I enjoyed it. Furthermore, if the chicken was this good, I can’t wait to try the beef. Overall Barrio ATL is def one to add to the checklist when you are looking for a vibe. The DJ was on point, the ambiance was hittin like it needed to be, and the overall flow of the environment was ideal for a kick it/unwind/grab a drink type of vibe.“

“Amazing BBQ. Anytime you find a food establishment that only opens on the weekends. 9 out 10 it's going to rock your world lol. It doesn't disappoint here. It's a "pick up and go" type of spot. So don't plan on staying. But it's a must try in my opinion. Ribs fall off the bone. Mac and cheese is on point. And the Collared greens are very well seasoned. The cajun fries are so good there is a saying. When anyone that's been to Frank's asks " where you get the fries from?" And you say Frank's? They will be like " o yeah that makes sense.'' It's a must try if you're in the area when they are open.“

“The food is awesome. Best soul food anywhere near powder springs. We had wings, pork chops, mac&cheese, mashed potatoes, rice&gravy, yams, and rolls! All of which were delicious. I’ve been there twice in the last 2days. But even more impressive than the food was the customer service i received. They forgot my yams and i didn’t realize until i got home. So i called and instead of just apologizing and Puting my name on the list to get when i ordered next time around. Carzell himself delivered the yams to my house stating “if he messed up the order he was going to fix it.” I was highly impressed and they have earned my business indefinitely!“
“Today I went to One Luv Cafe because I pass it everyday to and from work. I tried the oxtail, rice and peas and cabbage and it has been the best Jamaican food I've eaten to date. “New in town and wanted some soul food/comfort food.I came across this small almost mom and pops spot and the food looked pleasing. I searched the address and it's located inside a Shells gas station. I ordered the rib tips,Mac and cheese and cabbage. The dinner also comes with two corn muffins. My boyfriend had the fried whiting and fries,his also came with two cornbread muffins. Everything was exceptional and fresh. The rib tips were cooked perfectly and the sauce was *chefs kiss*. Customer service was great and he explained that the menu options change during the week. We will definitely be back soon!“
