“It had been a while since I last had Church’s Chicken, so when I saw the limited-time Fish Strip combo, I decided to give it a try.
I personally really enjoy their spicy dark meat. Yes, it’s a little oily — but that’s exactly what makes it so flavorful. The skin is crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. This time, it was freshly fried, and the texture was especially amazing.
The fish strips were pretty good too, especially when dipped in ranch sauce — definitely tasty and satisfying.
For sides, I went with coleslaw to balance out the richness, and mashed potatoes, which were comforting and delicious as always.
