“A brunch all day restaurant is the perfect addition to the southside. I walk here, but there is a nice free parking lot adjacent. The bagels are the real deal, the tots are delicious, great options for everyone. I have loved everything I’ve tried. So far, my favorites: the French toast, the avocado toast with egg, and I love their thin crust pizza. Drinks, coffee drinks, great service - all the things that make me happy!“

“We visited the area for the first time since this gem opened. We had such an enjoyable experience and meal at the chef’s counter Friday night that we sat there again for Sunday brunch. “We had an out of the blue date night last night. My mom came over and we asked to go to dinner with no idea where to go. We decided to give Lakshore Grille a try and WOWWWWW. We were so happy with our decision to come there. We will be back over and over again. The food was some of the best we have had and the entire service staff was so friendly. The cocktails were also yum. You definitely get your monies worth. It seems like a great place to work and a wonderful atmosphere. We can't wait to go back. Great job!“

My husband loves chicken and dressing, your special today, as well as cornbread, so I bought him a portion to go. When I got home, I warmed it up for him, and of course, he loved it too! I was glad that I grabbed some of your baked goods, and so far, we have devoured the HUGE ginger snap cookie!!! The staff were all super friendly and they even made a delayed to-go order so I could take a fresh lunch back to my kiddo when she got out of her practice. It's brightened the downtown scene for the past 40+ years...that's difficult to achieve in the Chattanooga market where the majority of new businesses are unsuccessful which causes them to shut their doors within their first 2 years of operation. CBC has powered through all the diversity to create a unique atmosphere which invites everyone to enjoy quality dinning while playing some pool or throwing darts. It also houses an array of fine cigars to smoke following your meal. It has 2 full service bars which allows you to choose which environment you prefer, downstairs has sports bar feel while upstairs has 12 pool tables with an on-demand jukebox to blast your favorite music. “I’ve only been into this establishment twice and although I was irritated because I was unable to place a call in order so that I could walk in and grab my order, pay and then walk out, I understood that the server was by herself both times.

She completely made up for it all because she was a very kind and professional lady and I was not only impressed with her work ethic but also equally impressed at the fact that although she was overwhelmed she pushed through it all and was a server and a cook that made things happen for the customers.

This woman deserves not only a raise but also some sort of recognition from the company because it isn’t her fault that nobody wants to come to work.

Keep up the good work whatever your name is. I will be back just to see her in action again because she completely knocked it out of the ball park both times that I’ve been into this establishment.“

“After several calls to Rock City Garden (no direct number to cafe), I wanted to check on this location for an anniversary lunch. I was given restaurant hours which included Monday’s. I was reluctantly transferred to cafe for other questions. Interestingly, the chef answered my call responding cafe was closed on Monday’s. Only light hor-d’oeuvre’s served on Monday’s which Rock City Gardens (how convenient when selling $50+ park passes) failed to disclose. The chef was strange up with help (5*’s); not so much with RCG’s. So Beware what’s lurking behind a phone call! Wish there was a way to Cafe 7 without going through a garden, particularly Rock City Garden.“

“We celebrated my daughter's birthday at J.Alexander's near Hamilton Place Mall, and I have to say their carrot cake is one of the best I've ever had—rich, creamy, and a must-try for any dessert lover. “The food was amazing! Compliments to the cook who prepared our steaks exactly how we wanted.
Our server Mary was beyond amazing! She was super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She was very fast with our order and made sure to check on us frequently. I overheard two staff members talking and it was one of the girls first weeks I think, and the other staff member was encouraging her which is always great to hear.
The reason I'm leaving four stars though, is because the manager on shift seemed to be under the influence and was talking about other staff members loud enough for us to hear. Not very professional in my opinion and doesn't set a welcoming environment for guest. You could his frustration with one area not being to his cleaning standards and how the waitress could finish sweeping the rest of the area.“
