“Jordan C was our server and made our experience! Easily some of the best service I've had in Atlanta in a LONG time. Shout out to him. Outside of that this place is really cool and vibey. The ambiance helps curate the experience and the food and drinks are delicious! The jerk chicken was so good! A little spicy but really flavorful. The curry and roti were also delicious as well!“
“This place was amazing!! As a Jamaican I can say this food is truly cooked by the hands of a skilled Jamaican chef and I saw her back there making magic!! Crystal was an excellent server and very nice and attentive. The ambiance was spectacular, they played Caribbean music most of my visit and had images of the island on the big tv as well as sports on the smaller tv behind the bar. I’ll be back for sure, many blessings!“
“Went for brunch and arrived a little after 11am. We were seated immediately & greeted by a wonderful & attententive waitress. She made great food recommendations & even informed us of which items contained coconut due to food allergy. The mimosas were delicious as well as the food we ordered. Dj arrived around 12:30 & played a great selection of music. We plan to visit again with more friends.“
“Such a cute vibe here and absolutely love the servers. They remember my children with each visit. Nice to enjoy a good meal that even my kids can enjoy. Small inside but never too crowded and gives a nice island vibe. Food is always fresh and never seems like it just sits under a hot lamp.“
“I am so glad I found this gem!! I just moved to Atlanta from Boston (where there’s Haitian food everywhere) so I was little bummed out that there aren’t really Haitian spots out here. But my girlfriend found this place on IG and sent it my way. I ordered online and got the griot plate which comes with the diri kole (rice and beans) and the banan peze (fried plantains) with a side of salad and pikliz. Also ordered a side of the j*** chicken pasta which came with some delicious bread, my order also came with a lemonade and it was one of the best lemonade I ever had. EVERYTHING was delicious the griot was cooked very well still nice and tender people tend to overcook griot but this here was perfect! Portion is great! It’s a 10/10 for me and will not mind making that 30+ minute drive in Atlanta traffic to get it.My only suggestion would be to give the sauce on the side as opposed to putting it on the rice and having Dressing for the salad.Thank you Ted for a great meal, you definitely have a frequent customer now.“
“Had lunch here today and it was amazing ! The Mac & Cheese was fabulous and the staff is very attentive. The chocolate chip cookies are like no other I’ve ever tasted ! They’re open Fri, Sat & Sun this week and adding Thursday next week. A fabulous addition to the Alpharetta food scene for sure! The patio is beautiful too. Highly recommend!“
“The food is really good & fresh! I ordered the pick any 3 (Loaded chicken nacho fries, side of jerk chicken taco & red beans & rice. With 2 jerk chicken egg rolls) The jerk chicken is just right not too spicy! The red beans & rice is the best red beans & rice I have ever had! I highly recommend them!“
“People! This place is just so good!Chill music to enjoy a perfect brunch!Food… OMG… let me tell you… you have to try the sweet potatoes with fried chicken ??And the drinks?! Just asked! They have the perfect one for you!100% recommended.“
“Yes and YES and YES AND YES!!!!!!! When you see the grill outside you know what’s up! After attending carnival 2022 and being disappointed with the food…We were on the hunt for some great Jamaican food to settle our tummies. After reading reviews all the local Islanders stated this was the spot. And boy were they on point! Customer service was absolutely amazing and these were the best oxtails I have ever had and that’s a high bar to reach! We also got fried chicken and baby they had the graces ketchup!!!! If you know you know! The jerk chicken was amazing as well. The main thing that I really loved about this food was it was truly authentic no water down flavor and the spice was on point! We have deemed this spot Our Jamaican go to whenever we are in Atlanta!“
“This place was great! Vibes and drinks were impeccable. They made my sister feel like she was the only birthday girl in the world that night. We had fun the DJ was great too. 10/10. The owner is just an awesome he helped he cleaned wow all around great guy. I will definitely come back.“
“We visited here Sunday for the very first time to try the oxtail quesadilla we saw posted on Instagram. My husband did not want to wait, so we bought the oxtail pasta instead. The oxtail pasta was VERY TASTY. It was flavored very well. I wish I could have had a couple of more pieces of meat, but otherwise, it was DELICIOUS. I only gave a four star rating since I did not get to try the oxtail quesadilla. AND, I did not find the music (explicit) was appropriate, especially on a Sunday. But if all the food is going to be seasoned as well as that oxtail pasta, you can't go wrong. I will definitely go back to try the oxtail quesadilla!“
“I love coming here. I order ahead online because this place is very popular. I only gave 4 stars because of the cabbage. It used to be amazing but now bell peppers are being added and it throws off the taste. Please remove bell peppersParking: Open parking lot due to the location of the restaurant so it’s never a problem.“
“Today I went to One Luv Cafe because I pass it everyday to and from work. I tried the oxtail, rice and peas and cabbage and it has been the best Jamaican food I've eaten to date. The owner was kind and friendly. She took out the time to go through self order kiosk. I will definitely be a regular from now going forward.“
“I’ve been missing my hometown Brooklyn,NY and I finally found a place that taste like home. I had the curry chicken roti and the portion did not disappoint I heard they do it bigger in Georgia and they lived up to the hype. The food was seasoned so good it took me 2 years to find a place that has not watered down their recipes and this place taste exactly like the vendors from eastern pkwy during the Labor Day parade. The aroma was so good I forgot to take before and after pictures lolKid-friendliness: The staff was very nice to my daughter even while she changed seats a million times.“
“?️ Every item on the menu is so Tasty; you will not be disappointed. I’ve been coming here to buy spapper, shrimp, and conch fritters for 7 years now and the food has been consistently superb. Great food and friendly service => Chefs Kiss“
“Food is really good. Not over spiced or oily. Perfect cross between salt and spices. Establishment was very clean, I didn’t see a spec of anything on the floor. It also SMELLED clean, you can tell they must clean daily. The young man that served me was very kind and generous. I got there an hour before closing so no rice and beans or plantains, but oh my the white rice was SO GOOD. I didn’t know white rice could taste so yummy haha. I got the curry goat and cabbage. Great prices, great portions, and great food. 5/5 for sure. Thank you guys!!!“
“My daughter kept going on and on about this Jamaican spot that was sooo good. When I decided to throw her a birthday party and asked what kind of food she wanted, of course she said Dat Fire Jerk Chicken! The food was everything she said it was...it was ready when I arrived to pick it up, everyone was super nice and that jerk salmon...OMG!! I would most definitely recommend them and will be coming back myself!!“
“Our family has been coming here for years and the food & service has been consistently amazing! I always see the same ladies and they’ve always been so friendly & kind. Their black bean noodles and spicy seafood noodle soup is hard to beat. This is our go to spot everytime!“
“I sadly came in at the end but I still received great service and the owner was a true gentleman upon me leaving. I will happily honor him asking to leave a nice review as I got home and tore my oxtails, white rice and cabbage up. I could not have asked for a better meal to end my day. Would go back since I missed the patties and desserts“
“A successful live music, cigar, and wine night. Cozy lil' hidden gem in sandy springs. The band was amazing and the sound level was perfect. It's a small bar though so you may end up standing if other tables are not willing to share a booth or table. It was only ONE waitress at the time on a Saturday night. Turkey burger sliders are so darn good and only enough for one person. Decent ventilation system, too.“
