“I walked into this unassuming shop in Anahola market and was instantly met by Abby‘s big smile and beautiful presence. I appreciate her deep connection to her roots to Ethiopia and strong emphasis on all ingredients being purely organic, authentic and sourced from local farms. The meal was divinely DELICIOUS!! so good that I had to eat with my hands~ the traditional way! I believe she offers her love and honors her country in the best way ??“

“Delicious burgers. Great people working there and the food is awesome. The burgers were all great. Fries aren't really worth it IMO. Under seasoned and just plain. The shakes are awesome. Be prepared to wait. Food takes quite a while to be made. Staff is friendly. But it'll take a lot longer than you think for the food to be ready

“This is a very cool little place. Lots of local history. Great food! Great staff. They surve food on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (we showed up Wednesday afternoon, but came back Thursday to try the food. We had the mushroom bombers (must try!) The shaggy roll (got to meet shaggy!) And the fish and chips (wahoo fish, Ono) Everything was delicious! The staff and the other patrons were very friendly. It's definitely worth stopping in when you are in Kapa'a. They also have karaoke, live music and dancing some nights! We define will be going back! Do yourself a favor and check it out!“

It was good and the service was fantastic, but not so good that we made a second stop on our trip. Their service was quick too, so it's a good stop if you only have a short time to eat! My personal favorites are the deep fried mac n cheese or fries poutine appetizers, the duck or lamb dinners and always the cheesecake with bacon toffee or chocolate pudding. Drinks are fantastic and I love the infused smoked effects that can be added or the sweet martini drink on the dessert menu that tastes like drinking a snickerdoodle cookie. “We stayed at the Kauai Beach Resort and went to Shutters the first night to get a drink to have while walking on the beach. It was not high quality. I saw the "bartender" go to the cooler and grab a premixed "manhattan" in a glass and pour it into a plastic cup for us to go out to the beach area. My wife had a mai tai. I think that one was at least mixed when it was ordered. Mine tasted like it was - tired, a bit diluted, and clearly made long before I drank it. If that were the end of the story, I would be arguing about whether to do 2 or 3 stars, but the best part is what came next. We were wandering around in Hanapepe and ended up buying a fresh dragonfruit from a little store. When we came back, I went to the bar to see if they could give me a knife. I expected a plastic or maybe butter knife, but the busboy got me a steak knife, which was so much better. Next night, we had some left over poke and I asked for whether they had soy sauce, and the busser came back with packets for us to take to the room. The staff definitely went out of their way and I would give 5 stars for that, but I cannot ignore the bad drinks. Did not get to try the food.“

“The Valentine's Day buffet was absolutely incredible - I was looking for a place that was offering seafood and at least one potato dish, some of my wife's favourite foods, and Naupaka delivered! We arrived about half an hour before our reservation and were invited to check out the property. There were hula lessons happening, then a Polynesian dance group, and then live music. The variety of food was great! The poke was the best I've ever had, the steak, while all cooked medium or more, was tender and juicy, and there was enough variety that almost anybody would find something they'd fall in love with, and the dessert selection - which included fresh chocolate covered strawberries - was enough to tempt you away from filling up on just entrees. My wife, who hates coffee, wants to give a special shoutout to the mocha mousse, which she snuck out a second of to save for later!“

They were very good and the gave spicy mayo and a taco sauce in squeeze bottles to add as well as the salsa from the free chips. Great value. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Bathroom on side of building but clean and accesable only by key. Tuesday I had Chicken tacos special and wife again had the chicken salad. Tacos were not as good as the salad but were ok. Good food for reasonable price. Way better food than Kalypso or Kountry Kitchen.“
