“Great spot to grab some good food! Nothing too expensive either so you could order multiple dishes if you wanted. Good atmosphere and the customer service was excellent. Not crowded at all and I went during lunch. This is definitely a go-to if you're in the area and wanting some good Asian food!“

“I was very shocked to see a negative review for this place because we’ve eaten here 4 times now and it is always phenomenal. The restaurant itself is very clean and open, you can see right back to the kitchen and see that it’s also clean there. The price is very reasonable and you get a LOT of food. They have keiki/mini sizes available for every menu item if you don’t want a huge plate (their sizes are generous). My 3 year old can eat an adult size bowl of ramen and their keiki ramen is big enough for him to get full on. Their mochiko chicken is fried to perfection, crunchy outside and moist inside. The fish katsu is my favorite. Every time I go the quality is perfection, whether it’s a busy Friday night or mid day on a Wednesday. The women working the front are SO kind and helpful, they hold the door open, they helped me out to my car with my big order of food, they come refill waters and check on us during our meal when we eat in the restaurant. Best staff I’ve ever encountered consistently. Oh and the wait time for our food is never more than 10 minutes, so it’s quality food, quickly made, and friendly staff. What a gem. Please excuse the picture, nobody would wait until after u took it to start eating so half the plates already gone!“

“This is a great traditional local store we've been going for a long time. We already have our regular orders, but most foods here are good and very affordable. Nice and attentive staff. The place does get hot inside and there is no AC.
Kid-friendliness: There is one high chair inside. No keiki menu. They usually bring smaller water cups for keiki.“

“Almost like a hole-in-the-wall kinda shop, menu is very similar to Da Ichi Ramen but with more variety. Stopped by here for an after work dinner & enjoyed our meal. Parking is EXTREMELY LIMITED and we almost left because of it.
Servers are always friendly & dote on you. Food is really good, I love Ramen & this was closer than driving to Pearl City for Da Ichi. Portions are great! Got the Special Combo with Ramen, adding shrimp katsu and beef fried rice for my side. Was able to sub out the pork fried rice 😏. Oh and they also got chicken wings that are worth it, so yay!
Overall, pretty good place. My katsu shrimp was a bit overcooked and crunchy but the gyoza and chicken katsu confirmed that they're worth it.
Parking: Parking is tight and limited in front of the building. Then again it's Hawaii, parking lots are not the best.“

“Best ramen on the island. I get the spicy creamy vegan. My fiance always gets spicy tanaka and in his words it's "always money." The place is small and it's cute but there's not enough room to have privacy and intimacy (that's hawaii real estate tho!) Bonus: They have hot sake! The service as always been just-enough-to-keep-us-from-complaining. There's always room for potential, but I recommend this place.“

“We stopped by Daiichi Ramen Kapolei after a day at Wet n Wild. The delicious ramen warmed and put huge smiles on our 3 young kids after an overcast day of surprisingly cold waterslides. I had the combo meal with Japanese curry, ramen, and I forget which type of fried chicken. All 3 were terrific. We will definitely go again, even though they are the totally opposite side of the island.“

“I randomly decided to try out this place and I got the Garlic Chicken plate. The chicken was cooked very well and the service was super fast (I was there at 9 PM). From walking in the ambiance was honestly not there. I feel like if this place had a good feel when you walked in, it could be top tier. I would've given it 4.5 stars if it was possible because it was missing just a little bit of flavor, but I understand that it is primarily a ramen restaurant. I will definitely try it again!“

“Great chop steak, and my wife's fried min was fabulous. Had soup and sandwich. Hadn't been here for a while. Was in the area and de died to eat here because it's one of my favorite places. Cathy took real good care of us. It's always a pleasure. This time, we went for breakfast, and we had the Tanaka's special. It's 3 egg omlete with bacon, tomato, onions, mushrooms, and spinach. I highly recommend it.
Cathy is really on the ball! We also took home a shrimp tempura plate.“

“9/2024
Got a quick order for takeout at this convenient location in Kapolei. Combo Tonkotsu Ramen with side gyoza and side beef curry. Great value for under $20. Can't go wrong. Sorry, I didn't take a pic, but it was worth it. Give it a try! ??“

“Decided to explore something new in the area and stumbled upon this excellent establishment. Visited post-lunch hours, so it wasn't overly crowded. A down-to-earth restaurant offering delightful katsu curries and ramen. The food arrived surprisingly quickly. We tried the spam, chicken, and shrimp katsu curries, all delicious, though the crunch was a bit hard. The combo sets are a great choice; we went for Combo A. The fried rice and mini ramen were spot on. If you crave ramen or curry, this spot is a must-try.“

“The location is nice as it is not crowded. The service is nice and fast. Food is great for its price. We got the combo set and servings are huge! You can share the set combo.
The shoyu ramen is okay. The gyoza is nice and they serve a lot per order. The spam curry is okay as well. I recommend the mixed fried rice and the mochiko chicken. They’re perfect!
All in all, great value for money 👍“

“Aji Ramen is a true gem that every ramen lover must visit! The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home.
Now, let’s talk about the food! The portions are huge, and the ramen here is simply amazing! Each bowl is a perfect harmony of rich, flavorful broth, impeccably cooked noodles, and fresh toppings. Every slurp was a delightful experience that kept me wanting more.
The fried noodles, too, were outstanding – crispy, savory, and just the right amount of satisfying.
But what truly stole the show for me were the crab and cream cheese puffs. I can confidently say they are the best I've encountered at any restaurant in Hawaii! These puffs are incredibly light, bursting with creamy goodness, and filled with a perfect blend of tender crab meat. They are truly a must-try!
I can't wait to return and indulge in more of their incredible dishes! Highly recommend this spot to anyone craving flavorful affordable ramen and delightful appetizers!“

“I visited for the first time yesterday and loved it! I ordered the mochiko chicken, which was delicious. The place was busy, with people waiting outside, but I didn’t have to wait as I sat on the bar-side seating, which gave a great vibe. They also have regular tables, but I enjoyed the bar-style atmosphere. Overall, a great experience—I’ll definitely come back and recommend it!

“I have been here twice; once for breakfast and once for plate lunch. Both were solid meals, good portions and I got out under $15. I had a Portuguese sausage omelet for breakfast and chicken katsu curry for lunch. The picture is half way through the regular size portion. The interior doesn't have a lot of seating but it's clean and air conditioned.. . I highly recommend this Ewa Beach hole in the wall. Plus they cater. Ono-licious.“
