“We have been to Senia before and it is always a great experience. The four of us pick several snacks from the top of the menu and fill in with various sides. We have never been disappointed and this time we tried the Roasted Bone Marrow, what a treat! Josh, our waiter said we would pick this every time we come back and he is right! We also loved the mushroom and cheese tarts with the gruyere foam and mushroom powder. There was a discussion about another order but, we had several more dishes coming. Kabocha Squash Agnolotti is a must for the many flavors. Yikes everything was great!“

“TLDR: Melissa is AWESOME! But, if you are gluten free (ie no soy sauce with wheat) or allergic to mushrooms, you can’t eat here.

My husband and I combined have those allergies and Melissa was very kind to ask the chef if we could be accommodated. Unfortunately it wasn’t possible. Melissa was so respectful of how she informed us - aaaaaaand then offered us a complimentary cocktail (which was on point) and a reservation down the road at a nice restaurant that she knew could accommodate our allergies!

I don’t envy her for effectively having to kick us out, but she (and the entire staff) were so gracious to us. Thank you Melissa!“

“Our Perfect Stranger drinks, squid and cornbread appetizers, beet salad, and prime rib were delicious. Our servicer was also very good. My birthday sundae was great and large enough for our party of 4 to share. The only issue is the location on Hotel Street with homeless persons in the area...not the restaurants fault. Just very sad to see.“

“We celebrated a big anniversary at Pai and WOW - they made it extra special. We did the four course menu with wine pairings. The service was top notch. The food was inspired, creative, delicious, and locally sourced. Though the portions of each dish looked small, it was more than enough food and so delicious you wanted to eat every bite! The wine pairings were spot on, absolutely perfect with our chosen courses. The space has such a lovely vibe - clean and modern, but comfortable and well appointed. There really isn't another dining experience quite like this on the island. Justine and Kevin have created such a beautiful place with incredible food and service. Pai is definitely a must-try restaurant. We will definitely be back.“

“I stopped in at Yard House and ordered the small chicken salad along with a side of sweet potato fries. The “small” salad was actually quite generous in size — fresh, well-prepared, and flavorful enough to feel like a full meal on its own. It had a good balance of ingredients, with the chicken cooked just right and served in a way that felt both hearty and light.

The sweet potato fries were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, and they came with a maple syrup dip. That was a first for me, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise — the sweetness of the syrup paired nicely with the savory fries and gave them a unique flavor profile compared to the usual ketchup or aioli.

Service was another highlight. The staff was friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and seemed genuinely welcoming, which made the overall experience more enjoyable.

The atmosphere was lively but still comfortable enough for conversation, with the upbeat energy you’d expect from Yard House. It feels like a great spot whether you’re there for a casual bite, watching a game, or meeting with friends.

Good food, unique touches like the maple syrup dip, and excellent service make Yard House a solid choice. I’d definitely come back to try more menu items.“

“My husband was in search of some good fish in Waikiki. We stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a try. I’m not a seafood person so I got the chicken pasta and he tried snapper for the first time. Both of us were blown away by how tasty everything was. The portions were huge too! Out of all the places we had been to during our trip, this place is at the top. Even as a non fish eater, I loved it! There can be a wait, but it is well worth it. Try it, you’ll love it.“

“It's my neighborhood so I use it often.This is a Whole Foods store in Kahala Mall, right next to Whole Foods, and although it looks like a pub at first glance, the food is delicious. This is a restaurant where you can enjoy just the food without having to order alcohol.The daily menu is a great deal!I often go on ?Taco Tuesday on Tuesdays. The store opens at 1pm in the afternoon.“

After walking up and down the side walk on the east side of Oahu, we decided on this place. So cute and everyone there was so nice and helpful. Only thing we did not know was there was a gluten free option. The green drink & iced teas were served in glass (not plastic) even though we were sitting outside. Both drinks were very good & we were pleased to be handed paper straws vs plastic. Also, another nice touch was the real wooden plates our tasty lunch orders were brought to us on. “I've seen Chrisette Michele and Raheem Devaughn and both artist put on an incredible show. The venue is intimate and nice. There is no bad seat in the venue because your view of the artist will be good. The venue is first come first serve so I recommend arriving early to select your preferred seating arrangements.

The food in my opinion is however over priced but hey, you get what you get.

“While shopping downtown Waikiki, we came upon the Swim Bar at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and stopped in for a meal. The bartender, Kyle, was very personable and he shared his insight after having lived in Hawai'i for over 40 years. We shared a large pizza and it was absolutely delicious. I could have eaten two of them! made the lunch experience most enjoyable and the atmosphere was simply fabulous. I can only comment about eating there at lunchtime but I would be willing to wager that dinner is just as wonderful. Swim Bar is definitely on the rotation the next trip to Hawai'i!“

“Here's the deal with Lucky Strike Honolulu.

If you're at Ala Moana and you want a break from shopping this is a nice place to play some games, have a beer and chill for a while. The food is normal bar type food, be aware the menu is limited. But! They have the best truffle fries that I've found so far. I like the place because they have two pinball machines. Pinball is my game of choice when it comes to arcade games.

If like me, you like drinking at a not so crowded bar. Then head upstairs, yes they have a small upstairs bar and a four lane bowling alley, plus a couple of dart boards. Come by and hang out. It's my favorite place to drink during the week, it's usually empty or close to it.“

“We were actually impressed for a museum restaurant. Prices were about what you'd pay at a regular fast casual restaurant and the flavour was pretty good. My main complaint is the food wasn't very hot at all (actually the pork was basically cold), but it was tastier than I expected for museum food. If you're at Pearl Harbor for a day, this is a pretty reasonable lunch stop.

Service was also pretty friendly and the atmosphere was nice since it wasn't too crowded.“

We walked in on a Father’s Day weekend on a Saturday, expecting no tables for a family of 4. They were able to sit us by the bar. And it was amazing, the food is great we had the MEGAHAWK, oysters, thick-cut bacon, keiki steak plate and very refreshing watermelon sorbet.
