“TLDR: Melissa is AWESOME! But, if you are gluten free (ie no soy sauce with wheat) or allergic to mushrooms, you can’t eat here.

My husband and I combined have those allergies and Melissa was very kind to ask the chef if we could be accommodated. Unfortunately it wasn’t possible. Melissa was so respectful of how she informed us - aaaaaaand then offered us a complimentary cocktail (which was on point) and a reservation down the road at a nice restaurant that she knew could accommodate our allergies!

I don’t envy her for effectively having to kick us out, but she (and the entire staff) were so gracious to us. Thank you Melissa!“

“It's been half a year since we last came. The environment and vibe have not changed so much---very comfortable. They have a new Spring menu with a few new items added to their signature dishes. Tried their Hearts of Romaine salad, which was good with its light dressing. The Steakhouse Salmon was also good with a different kind of sauce. Hubby went for their Ribeye Steak which was not offered before and he also said it was pretty good. It was a pleasant date night.“

“We celebrated a big anniversary at Pai and WOW - they made it extra special. We did the four course menu with wine pairings. The service was top notch. The food was inspired, creative, delicious, and locally sourced. Though the portions of each dish looked small, it was more than enough food and so delicious you wanted to eat every bite! The wine pairings were spot on, absolutely perfect with our chosen courses. The space has such a lovely vibe - clean and modern, but comfortable and well appointed. There really isn't another dining experience quite like this on the island. Justine and Kevin have created such a beautiful place with incredible food and service. Pai is definitely a must-try restaurant. We will definitely be back.“

“I can't figure out why this restaurant isn't busier - it is a hidden gem. Great food, fantastic service, and doesn't feel like you're crowded and bustling all the time like most restaurants in Waikiki. We are here three times, no wait, no complaints.“

“My husband was in search of some good fish in Waikiki. We stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a try. I’m not a seafood person so I got the chicken pasta and he tried snapper for the first time. Both of us were blown away by how tasty everything was. The portions were huge too! Out of all the places we had been to during our trip, this place is at the top. Even as a non fish eater, I loved it! There can be a wait, but it is well worth it. Try it, you’ll love it.“

After walking up and down the side walk on the east side of Oahu, we decided on this place. So cute and everyone there was so nice and helpful. Only thing we did not know was there was a gluten free option. The green drink & iced teas were served in glass (not plastic) even though we were sitting outside. Both drinks were very good & we were pleased to be handed paper straws vs plastic. Also, another nice touch was the real wooden plates our tasty lunch orders were brought to us on. Now we know why this place gets such excellent reviews!“

“An excellent breakfast! I was a little hesitant to go to a generic buffet while vacationing in Hawaii, but it was quite excellent all around. Even had some more local food options. Something for everyone (we had three kids with us). If you’re staying at the Hale Koa I do recommend. You can also try to request a table with the best view. 🌴🏖️“

“First of all, this is not our first visit here for me and my husband. But this time we had our 2 kids with us. We walked in on a Father’s Day weekend on a Saturday, expecting no tables for a family of 4. They were able to sit us by the bar. And it was amazing, the food is great we had the MEGAHAWK, oysters, thick-cut bacon, keiki steak plate and very refreshing watermelon sorbet. “It's my neighborhood so I use it often.This is a Whole Foods store in Kahala Mall, right next to Whole Foods, and although it looks like a pub at first glance, the food is delicious. This is a restaurant where you can enjoy just the food without having to order alcohol.The daily menu is a great deal!I often go on ?Taco Tuesday on Tuesdays. The store opens at 1pm in the afternoon.“

“Has very friendly staff in the operations office and was very helpful with all the questions I had. The facility is well secured and has their employees in their best interest. They even provide shuttle service to and from the facility to the nearest bus stop for those who don’t have a car.“

“The food is amazing and unique with a rotating daily special while also offering their main menu. Service is as fast as you can imagine, even on the busiest time. When you get your plate, you can sit down in a well maintained sitting area that has amazing views. It's definitely a great place to eat on the island. The entrance is inside NOAA.“
