“Excellent food and service. My wife and I were there for the Navy’s 248th Birthday Meal. The beef, mashed potatoes, macaroni & cheese, corn, vegetables, and salad were delicious. Good crab legs though a bit salty. Very clean and pleasant atmosphere.“

“I came here on 2 seperate occasions and I have a mixed rating for it.

I would say the food is excellent. Very very good stuff.... but the wait time is atrocious.

I had an aloha smash burger, a loco Dog, and a chicken sandwich on the 2 trips. The food was fresh, great tasting and the fries were outta this world tasty.

Now onto the issues. I work in the food industry and have ran pretty much every cuisine under the sun. I have done so for 15 years and I think the wait times are ridiculous. Both times I went there I literally had to wait 50 minutes one night and an hour and 10 minutes the next night for food.

I would have just gotten a refund and went somewhere else if other places were open because while the food is absolutely top notch, the wait times make it not worth it and there wasnt many people ahead of us either of those times. 7 customers first night, 9 customers the longer night.

I understand they are working out of a small area with limited resources but it seems as though they have outgrown their space. 50-70 minutes for a burger, fries, and hot dogs is ridiculous any way you slice it.

Those guys are working hard and they're ingredients are fresh but from one chef to the next, you need to expand to a new area to allow yourself to grow. Working off of a small flat top and a table top plug in deep fryer will not being able to keep up with the demand and im hoping for the sake of your restaurant, it doesn't tarnish your reputation because as I said above..The food is phenomenal and these guys can cook up a mean dinner.

Only issue is they are holding themselves back from moving to the next level with the small space and crazy wait times.

When you can only do one ticket at a time because of limited space, the current work model isnt going to work out long term. I dont mind a wait for good food but I have to admit, this was the longest wait time Ive ever experienced for food in any setting.

I hope you guys live long and prosper because you know how to cook some great food. Take the risk and jump into a bigger space, I have faith you will be successful.

Only hesitation I have in returning again in the future is placing an order at 9pm but not being able to eat until after 10pm even if the food is phenomenal.“

“We went here for some good poke and it was mostly great. My husband got the spicy ahi and salmon shoyu which were both delightful! I ordered the California ahi and was surprised to find giants chunks of imitation crab meat in it. I do not care for this at all so I picked it all out. I wish there had been descriptions under the options. I did ask about the spice level but I assumed that the different names were related to the sauce. Next time I will ask more questions.“

I had left overs so I signaled her for a box & she came back laughing because I looked like I was doing “baby shark”. “TLDR: Melissa is AWESOME! But, if you are gluten free (ie no soy sauce with wheat) or allergic to mushrooms, you can’t eat here.

My husband and I combined have those allergies and Melissa was very kind to ask the chef if we could be accommodated. Unfortunately it wasn’t possible. Melissa was so respectful of how she informed us - aaaaaaand then offered us a complimentary cocktail (which was on point) and a reservation down the road at a nice restaurant that she knew could accommodate our allergies!

I don’t envy her for effectively having to kick us out, but she (and the entire staff) were so gracious to us. Thank you Melissa!“

“Our Perfect Stranger drinks, squid and cornbread appetizers, beet salad, and prime rib were delicious. Our servicer was also very good. My birthday sundae was great and large enough for our party of 4 to share. The only issue is the location on Hotel Street with homeless persons in the area...not the restaurants fault. Just very sad to see.“

“We have been to Senia before and it is always a great experience. The four of us pick several snacks from the top of the menu and fill in with various sides. We have never been disappointed and this time we tried the Roasted Bone Marrow, what a treat! Josh, our waiter said we would pick this every time we come back and he is right! We also loved the mushroom and cheese tarts with the gruyere foam and mushroom powder. There was a discussion about another order but, we had several more dishes coming. Kabocha Squash Agnolotti is a must for the many flavors. Yikes everything was great!“

“I arrived at 11 am and they were already sold out on all their food except for the beef stew, so I bought the beef stew with once scoop of rice and macaroni salad and green salad, which came to $11. The server was very nice in explaining about what she got left and she gave so much that I was barely able to finish and the food was very good. “My husband was in search of some good fish in Waikiki. We stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a try. I’m not a seafood person so I got the chicken pasta and he tried snapper for the first time. Both of us were blown away by how tasty everything was. The portions were huge too! Out of all the places we had been to during our trip, this place is at the top. Even as a non fish eater, I loved it! There can be a wait, but it is well worth it. Try it, you’ll love it.“

“Head to Halawa and grab some lunch at Bombuchaz. We ordered the hamburger steak plate and the #3 special with beef stew, chicken long rice, and pan laulau. Yummers! The stew uses short ribs which made it even better. The flavors was spot on. We went there at 10:30 so only had about 3 people in line. I've heard they sell out so get there early and get your grub on!“

“I and a couple of other retirees discovered Pur Sina when they opened and have been weekly customers ever since. Their small kitchen limits the menu choices, but what they offer is tasty and reasonably priced. The pleasant customer-oriented staff has made it serve as a home away from home for us, and we have always felt welcomed. If/when they leave, they will be sorely missed.“
