I will come again to eat this! The food is made after you order, so there's a bit of a wait, but it's not long. You can also use credit cards“

“Wanted to support the local food trucks and glad we did....I had the bean chimichanga and it was big! Filled with beans and cheese...but you can definitely get meat of your choice. My friend had the steak street tacos and said they were delicious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They definitely showed Aloha! We passed by this food truck a few times and glad we stopped to have a bite. If you are wanting Mexican food, definitely give it a try!“

“TLDR: 10/10 recommend the Carne Asada burrito and Carne Asada Quesadilla.Wanted to wait until I was able to visit a few times before making a review. But this place has some of the best burritos in town. 10/10 would recommend if visiting from the west coast and wanting that authentic style burritos. Also they have great homemade salsas to choose from that pair very well with each dish. Also highly recommend the quesadillas if you aren’t in the mood for a burrito.Parking: I recommend parking in the Whole Foods parking lot and walking across the street.“

“Blondie's is the best vegan restaurant on island in my opinion. It's the most similar to vegan comfort food that can be found in places like Portland and is really unlike any other food available on O'ahu. The atmosphere is lovely and the service is always top notch (Cybil is the absolute sweetest!). The restaurant is run by a mother-daughter duo and my heart is warmed every time I think of this. Even my non-vegan friends and family enjoy the food! Blondie's also happens to make my favorite smoothie of all time—the pipeline paradise. I have something of a smoothie obsession and I literally dream of this smoothie constantly. Highly recommend giving Blondie's a try!“

“The entire meal was BOMBBB the rice was the perfect texture, corn was… well you can’t really go wrong with corn lol, even the extra salad was good but the beef was the star of the meal. It was super tasty and the texture was to dieee for. Would’ve got another one but they’re closed for the night.“

“Exploring around O’ahu and found this hidden gem. I love the menu in this local vegan store that is family run, making the atmosphere friendly! I primarily ordered their food, but apparently you can also do groceries with them. You can also order with free delivery around the island too. The food that we ordered was purely delicious and I would not hesitate going back here again (I just wished they were closer to where we were staying!). I also love their “Where are you from?” wall, and coming from Boston area, we certainly were amazed by the different people that have come and ordered vegan meals at the place. They have desserts and coffee too (we ordered the “Nutella” mocha and hibiscus tea), which complimented our meals.“

“Food is amazing now.. way back when food was terrible. Very very affordable.. once you tried it you will definitely come back for more... Braddah man may seem to be rude but he is actually a cool dude, every time you go back for more he will become more nicer lol.. but overall the chicken is onolicious and price is super cheap. Have a bless day y'all and stay hungry. Yeah you!“

“So this place is super close to my condo so I asked my two friends if they'd like to check it out. Oahu is just generally so behind when it comes to quality Mexican food but I had high hopes. Anyway, ordered the three tacos with beans and rice. Two shredded beef and one chicken. The shredded beef tacos were on point, really delicious. The chicken taco was good but not quite as good as the beef. Whole pinto beans, very tasty. Sadly the rice wasn't so good, definitely lacking flavor but mixed with the beans okay. Overall, I was surprised. I've eaten Mexican food all over California, LA, San Diego etc and this was good. The tall guy taking orders I think could have been a bit friendlier, he seemed a little annoyed by some questions I had about the menu. So that and the rice knocked my rating from 5 to 4“

“I am a firm believer that some of the best food you can get in Hawaii comes from small, local food trucks like Flyin' Ahi. I finally got the chance to try them after wanting to go for years. Usually I wouldn't be able to because of work but I took advantage of the Veteran's Day holiday to make my way over. Located in Mililani Tech Park next to other food trucks. The baked crab stuffed Ono with truffle sauce caught my eye. But I also wanted to try their signature kalbi fries, plus spicy ahi poke... Luckily the kind owner was able to combine all that into one fat plate. Everything was amazing! The truffle cream sauce is to die for. The fries were fried up perfectly crispy with a generous portion of kalbi on top. And the spicy ahi was great too, I liked how it wasn't the usual mayo-based sauce.Service was super quick and friendly. The owner was generous enough to add some spicy ahi into the blackened ahi salad we got too. I'll definitely come back to this spot when I have another day off and want to treat myself.“

“Located in The Heart of China Town in Honolulu, we stumbled across Irie Jerk, a Jamaican Restaurant. In about a month we must have visited at least five times. The Mash Potatoes are the best I’ve tasted anywhere, Finger licking Good. We also tried the Oxtail, Jerk Chicken, Curry Chicken and Curry Goat, all served with a choice of rice and peas ,cabbage, Mac and cheese, are all delicious. Not only is the food excellent, the owner Cadeen and the staff are pleasant and courteous. I look forward to my next visit. If you are in Honolulu, please stop by Irie Jerk, you won’t be disappointed.“

“Solid Mexican food. I've had a fair share of Mexican food including street food in Mexico city. Mayita's grill makes great Mexican dishes and Birria Quesadilla I ordered was delicious. I would recommend take out as the area where this is situated (it's just a small kitchen attached to a pickup truck) can be a bit sketchy, especially after sunset.“

“Last night we went to a dinner party and they had a tray of the pork sisig and the soup. Ive never eaten something that was so simple and that good that came in an aluminum tray. It was so delicious that we went today to get some for ourselves. Crunchy and sofy, savory and citrusy, spicy and comforting.“

“This is a cute little truck/stand and the food is EXCELLENT. I got the Aloha burger and it was everything I was hoping for. Both the burger and fries were hot even after walking back to my hotel. And even though I couldn’t finish the burger in one sitting it tasted just a good the next day. If you’re looking for a burger I would definitely recommend these.“

“This is a nice little shave ice stand near the Leonard’s. The ice is very fine, the way a shave should be. I suggest getting the “snow cap” added to your order, which is the condensed milk. This place is cash only, so be sure you bring some when you swing by.“

“I came here because they said it was the main store, but it is definitely fluffier and softer. It's nice to have warm malasada donuts. If you take out, you don't have to tip, and the cream is less sweet than I thought, but I still think the original and cinnamon are the best.Lihing has an interesting slightly salty taste.“

“This is a hidden gem in an area that's going through gentrification. I visited the Milky Way Hawaii Ice food truck on a recommendation from a local. Both the Azuki Bean snow and the Baba Golden Milk drinks are hands down the best I've ever had. Why can't I get this type of quality and price in my home town of Vancouver? Highly recommended for anyone who can venture out to the food truck's location.“

“If you want a local "homestyle" breakfast, you can count on Lee's Breakfast Wagon. I work in Waipio and it is parked right outside of Costco on Ka Uka Blvd on most mornings. I call their number (808) 800-1630 before I leave my house and it's ready by the time I get there (about 15 minutes). I keep coming back because no matter how busy they are, they always answer the phone. Nice local guys working this wagon. Old school charm where they recognize you after little while haha. Hard to find places like that nowadays. FYI, they only accept cash so go prepared! Might be a deal breaker for some but nothing major to me. Cash is king. They provide condiments at the wagon (ketchup, sriracha , Tabasco, shoyu, pepper etc.) so you can put whatever you want on your plate. Ditch your local deluxe platter, spend a little bit more and get a loaded breakfast plate from Lee's!“

“My boyfriend and I ate here more than any other place both of our visits to the island. I mistakenly got the Ribeye Steak and I could not believe how dang amazing it was! Happiest mistake ever and for $22 on a 10 oz? Come on! We love the outside atmosphere, so was no big deal eating outside during the day or the evening. So good, and love the staff they work very hard! Mahalo“

“Passed by Tapas Kitchen in a hot afternoon. I was craving for a cold drink then so I decided to try mango smoothie. The smoothie is all made of fresh mango cuz I found mango pulp in it. It tastes so good and fresh. And I love its presentation. The frozen bear looks so cute on it. And probably cuz I was the only client and it was less busy then, the owner even generously offered to fill up my cup with the remaining smoothie in the blender.I will definitely come back not only for smoothies but also for food.———UpdateWas craving for some comfort food so I went today for fried chicken wings. This chicken wings exceeded my expectations. Very tasty. When I placed the order, I assumed I would get the ordinary fried chicken wings. (You know those wings sprinkled with salt and pepper.) The second I opened the container, I smelled a very nice fresh citrusy aroma from lemon zest on the chicken wings. The wings are crispy outside and tender inside. Very flavorful and not greasy at all. I really like the spices used for the wings.I would give the wing a 9/10. It would be perfect if it was a little bit more juicier. (It’s not dry at all though)“

“Such a cute coffee shop with great coffee and friendly baristas! We got an iced vanilla latte w/ oat milk and an iced brown sugar latte. Both lattes were refreshing and tasted wonderful! We also got the chocolate chip cookie and it was fantastic! Soft, chewy, and rich with a hint of sea salt made for the best cookie to eat with our drinks. Additionally, the views of the mountains while sitting on the patio with your coffee is to die for!“

“Such an unassuming truck I almost missed it! Only options available were half and whole, no quarter. Delicious huli huli chicken with a Peruvian twist. The chicken was charred to smoky perfection while still remained tender and juicy. The Peruvian twist were the strikingly umami, peppery, and herbaceous flavors infused in the chicken. The mustard sauce was a great addition to balance the dish's intensity with some creaminess.“

“I was the very last order of the night. They were getting ready to shut down when I walked up. I never knew this food truck was here. Korean food sounded great. They accommodated me. I order bulgogi. It was hot, a hefty portion with salad rice and kimchee. It also tasted great. Highly recommended and if I'm ever in this area again I know what to eat. Thanks so much.“
“I love the decor of this beautiful cafe. The music was soft and soothing so I was able to focus when studying. It has a nice open feel, not overcrowded. Ordering was very easy and we received our order very quickly. The Pineapple Snow Ice was so yummy! The pineapple was fresh and the lemon jelly wasn't tart; it was just perfect. Before we left because we just had to have more, we ordered the Milk Tea Snow Ice and Wintermelon Tea with boba and grass jelly. I was pleasantly surprised that the grass jelly was not overpowering. The boba was just the perfect texture! There are so many more things I cannot wait to try on our next visit!“

“Peruvian food in Kaka'ako...Super easy to find this cute white food truck on Cooke Street right along side Mother Waldron Park every weekday (Monday thru Friday) 10am to 3pm and though I have no idea exactly what Peruvian cuisine are so I decided to check them out.Menu choices are small though each dish seems quite labor intensive with beef seems to be the protein of choice...Antichos (skewers), Hawaiian Juane (turmeric rice with teriyaki beef) and sides including empanada and Crab Causa all with pics and descriptions it's a matter of preference as each dish has some solid flavor qualities.Since I've already eaten I decided to keep it simple with an Empanada and though it's a decent size $7 is a bit leaving your wallet hungry considering just awhile ago they were selling it for $4 though generously filled with beef and various veggies which I taste potatoes, onions, roast peppers and raisins as this hearty bite is topped with huacatay sauce which was a nice herb and lime sauce that was just spectacular. The flavor explosion the put into just the empanada I can just imagine their main plates...gah!!! The gentleman was just a delight feeling on my unfamiliarity greeted with the usual "let me know if you have any questions" was just a delight asking it comes with a sauce and if I wanted it on top or the side and if I needed any utensils...all are very appreciated as I constantly leave forgetting it. Will definitely be back for their main entrees as El Gallo dishes out some serious flavors!Thank you!“
“Jeremy is still going strong with his lunch wagon. But you people really need to get out of my way because I dislike waiting in that long line (J/K). Scoopers had to raise their prices for all plates by one dollar (come on people, you can afford to pay another measly buck) due to rising costs but it is still incredibly affordable, and the quality hasn't dipped at all. Unpretentious old school plate lunches hit the spot. Always.“
“My friends and I decided to swing by for dinner. When we showed up they warned us that since we were a bigger group (5) it would be a little bit and asked if we were okay leaving a number. They asked us if we had any food allergies, which I was shocked by, and were extremely kind. As we ordered they engaged us in conversation and over all were just so kind and attentive to our orders. We walked around for 10 minutes before they called and very excitedly told us out food was ready! When we finally chowed down the food was great! Great quality for the relatively low price ($14 for a whole meal that left me with leftovers). 10/10 absolutely would recommend.“

“My friend suggested I try this food truck/tent at Kapolei's night market and I was glad she did. The food was amazingly delicious that we ordered a second plate and the price is pretty reasonable. The chicken isaw taste like the ones in the Philippines so that was very much worth it. And the customer service is super great!!!! Definitely will go back again. “Me and my wife go here every time we get chicken cravings! Uncles Chicken is the BOMB! If it's your first time, try the Garlic Chicken! Crispy, flavorful, and juicy chicken. The price is fair and is much cheaper than your fast food chicken chain restaurants. As for the service, Uncle is always kind, when we sees both me and my wife, he always adds a little extra to our plate, which is awesome. “Not much to catch your eye when you drive by, but the service was top notch and the food was delicious (first time having garlic shrimp and yes, it was rich and creamy). Also had the coconut shrimp. I was reading reviews closer while eating and wish I would have tried to the steak instead of the coconut shrimp as it seems to be a fan favorite. The black cat is a fan of the garlic shrimp - highly recommend sharing what you have leftover with the little buddy.Parking: Parking was limited, but there are 5-6 spots behind the food truck.“

“Food was amazing!! We are visiting from California and made this stop a priority during our vacation.SO good. Between seven of us, we tried several breakfast sandwiches, the chilaquiles burrito, the bagel with a ton of goodies, and the cinnamon sugar French toast. Plus that coconut iced latte - so incredible. We had a huge order and they got it out to us super quick. “No Ka' Oi Thai Food by Nattaya is absolutely legit! Food Truck is located up Kaahumanu St by the Waiau Fire Station / District Park. The ladies are super friendly and their food is "over the top!" We tried their Gai Tod (fried chicken), Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and Khua Kai. Needless to say, everything was super onolicious! Everything is made-to-order so be prepared wait for your order - well worth it! Payment is cash but if you use a credit card, tax will be added to your order. Biggest problem is No Ka Oi being open for business only on Thursdays and Fridays from 11 am - 4 pm. Warning - if you come after 1:00, they are often "sold out" and will close early. So come early and enjoy!“
“Oh boy!! If you're in the west side of the island, make sure you look for this delicious truck! We had 2 huge plates of yummy food for a really reasonable price! I had a special of the day, stuffed salmon ($20), husband had their chopped ribeye steak & garlic chix combo ($22) Both came w/a toss salad & rice. The steak was stir fried & had red peppers & onions in the mix . The meat was very tender. My salmon was stuffed with/the fake crab in a creamy binding w/a topping of furikake Be sure to check out their instagram page for updates, locations, & menu. Luckily I had texted them when we arrived & found out that they would be closed for a few days for a private event. Whew!! They were gonna be open the day before we head back home! I hope they're still here on our next trip to Ko Olina Not kidding, go check them out!!“
