“The gyoza were tasty and cooked just right—same with the noodles, too! Lots of vegetables and other goodies along with the pork: DeLIcious! What a great chef and kind service! Even the bathroom was very nice and clean. Four thumbs waaay up!“

“Visited this place twice and enjoyed it both times. Their menu suggests a recommended extra topping for each ramen, which I think is worth the extra 2 dollars or so. The first time, I had a chicken soup ramen with wontons and chili oil (the extra topping). I enjoyed the wontons and the fried onions. The spicy ramen went well with the calpico drink I got, which was sweet with a yoghurt flavor. The second time, I had calamari appetizer with spicy mayo, and the tanaka classic ramen with parmesan cheese powder (the extra topping). It had a very creamy tonkotsu broth with char siu pork and lots of fried onions as well. The cheese mostly sank to the bottom of the soup but that was alright. The food is on the salty side but quite delicious overall. Had a strawberry ramune with that, which is a soda with a marble covering the top.“

“Ramen Ya is awesome. Very casual place to eat when you don't know what to eat for the night. Servings are more than enough for one person. If you buy a single item that's not in a combo, prepare to share because it is worth it. Even the ramen sets are sharable and a great deal as it's only $16 for basically three separate meals. The servers are nice. For a franchise brand, Ramen Ya is still good at delivering quality and I love to eat here when I feel sick. Again it is cheap. Yummy for the price.“

“Delicious pastries! I love their Pork Vegetable Fried Noodles. And their pork broth is so good, and so different from the other ramen places that I’ve been to.“

“I cannot believe it took me over SEVEN years on island to finally eat here—like, how did I miss this?! This spot in Aiea is a total hidden gem and exactly what I’ve been craving ever since my trip to Singapore. It’s similar to mala tang in that you get to pick your own veggies, meats, seafood, etc. to build your soup. The broth options are a little different though—no mouth-numbing mala like you’d find at YGF Mala Tang—but honestly, I didn’t mind one bit.
The spicy pumpkin soup base was perfection: creamy, flavorful, with just the right kick. It didn’t overwhelm my palate or leave me feeling heavy, and it tasted cleaner (less oily) than other broths I’ve tried. If you’re into creamy soups, the pumpkin base is a must-try!
Service was solid too. They refilled my water without me asking and even let me choose my seat (I was the first customer before the evening rush lol). The space was roomy, spotless, and you can tell it’s a true mom-and-pop operation—genuine care for both the food and the customers.
I’m already planning to come back this week because I cannot stop thinking about that pumpkin soup.
Oh, and if soup isn’t your thing (or if Hawaii’s heat has you craving something else), they’ve got chicken katsu with curry, stir fry, and other specialty dishes too.
VISIT. Seriously.“

“I came here with two of my girlfriends for a very anticipated late night dinner after a long day. We all liked our food— I ordered the vegetable ramen with miso broth, my friend got the spicy pork ramen, and my other friend got the tonkatsu— the portions were good, price was good, and the service was stellar. They played a small game with me at the end after I paid for the check, where I won a bar of soap & I thought that was so cool and a cute way to end the meal!!!! I would definitely come back here again. One of the few places open late on this side of the island as well!“

“Searched a local mom n pop shop, came across this for a quick bite, loved it, get the combo, you can split rice and ramen and get 4 gyoza on top of it for about $16 bucks. Got very busy after and they were still able to serve and get food out to everyone probably withing 5-7 minutes. Would come back !“

“Decided to explore something new in the area and stumbled upon this excellent establishment. Visited post-lunch hours, so it wasn't overly crowded. A down-to-earth restaurant offering delightful katsu curries and ramen. The food arrived surprisingly quickly. We tried the spam, chicken, and shrimp katsu curries, all delicious, though the crunch was a bit hard. The combo sets are a great choice; we went for Combo A. The fried rice and mini ramen were spot on. If you crave ramen or curry, this spot is a must-try.“

“Such a good experience! The portion sizes are huge! Especially the Aji ramen bowls so it’s very easy to share. We brought our vegetarian friend as well and the staff made sure to make the broth safe for her to eat. The staff was very friendly and the food came out quickly.“

“I have been here twice; once for breakfast and once for plate lunch. Both were solid meals, good portions and I got out under $15. I had a Portuguese sausage omelet for breakfast and chicken katsu curry for lunch. The picture is half way through the regular size portion. The interior doesn't have a lot of seating but it's clean and air conditioned.. . I highly recommend this Ewa Beach hole in the wall. Plus they cater. Ono-licious.“

“We frequently get spicy ramen at this restaurant, and it's always delicious. The flavors are perfect and the heat isnt overpowering. I genuinely love this place not only for the delicious food but also for the welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive. Additionally, the prices are pretty reasonable given the quality of the food, and the portion sizes are generous. Whether you're a ramen junkie like me or trying it for the first time, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.“

“More value for money! Awesome food, big savory portions! It’s also a family-friendly place! They recently added toys and a stuff toy vending machine for the little ones. If you are dining in, the ambiance is cozy, they have their own restroom. Tables are big and can accomodate bigger groups if needed. I always order from them either from Uber Eats or in-person at the restaurant for dine-in or take out! Staff is very friendly! I love going to this restaurant. It’s also close to Long’s and Foodland so if you have errands to run, everything is in one location! :)“

“Impeccable service, it took less than 8 min from when we walked into the door to us getting our delicious, steamy plates. Despite the restaurant being full, our glasses were always filled and it wasn't too noisy. Food was rlly good and price was decent.
Much love from Montreal🇨🇦❤️“
