“We stopped by Daiichi Ramen Kapolei after a day at Wet n Wild. The delicious ramen warmed and put huge smiles on our 3 young kids after an overcast day of surprisingly cold waterslides. I had the combo meal with Japanese curry, ramen, and I forget which type of fried chicken. All 3 were terrific. We will definitely go again, even though they are the totally opposite side of the island.“

“Visited this place twice and enjoyed it both times. Their menu suggests a recommended extra topping for each ramen, which I think is worth the extra 2 dollars or so. The first time, I had a chicken soup ramen with wontons and chili oil (the extra topping). I enjoyed the wontons and the fried onions. The spicy ramen went well with the calpico drink I got, which was sweet with a yoghurt flavor. The second time, I had calamari appetizer with spicy mayo, and the tanaka classic ramen with parmesan cheese powder (the extra topping). It had a very creamy tonkotsu broth with char siu pork and lots of fried onions as well. The cheese mostly sank to the bottom of the soup but that was alright. The food is on the salty side but quite delicious overall. Had a strawberry ramune with that, which is a soda with a marble covering the top.“

Got a quick order for takeout at this convenient location in Kapolei. Combo Tonkotsu Ramen with side gyoza and side beef curry. Great value for under $20. Can't go wrong. Sorry, I didn't take a pic, but it was worth it. Give it a try! ??“

“Remarkable ramen. They nailed the chashu, the noodles were great, and the TanTam broth was nice and clean. The apps tasted nice and clean. They could step up their sauce game but with their price and ramen quality I surely can not complain.“

“I randomly decided to try out this place and I got the Garlic Chicken plate. The chicken was cooked very well and the service was super fast (I was there at 9 PM). From walking in the ambiance was honestly not there. I feel like if this place had a good feel when you walked in, it could be top tier. I would've given it 4.5 stars if it was possible because it was missing just a little bit of flavor, but I understand that it is primarily a ramen restaurant. I will definitely try it again!“

“Decided to explore something new in the area and stumbled upon this excellent establishment. Visited post-lunch hours, so it wasn't overly crowded. A down-to-earth restaurant offering delightful katsu curries and ramen. The food arrived surprisingly quickly. We tried the spam, chicken, and shrimp katsu curries, all delicious, though the crunch was a bit hard. The combo sets are a great choice; we went for Combo A. The fried rice and mini ramen were spot on. If you crave ramen or curry, this spot is a must-try.“

“The location is nice as it is not crowded. The service is nice and fast. Food is great for its price. We got the combo set and servings are huge! You can share the set combo.

The shoyu ramen is okay. The gyoza is nice and they serve a lot per order. The spam curry is okay as well. I recommend the mixed fried rice and the mochiko chicken. They’re perfect!

“I have been here twice; once for breakfast and once for plate lunch. Both were solid meals, good portions and I got out under $15. I had a Portuguese sausage omelet for breakfast and chicken katsu curry for lunch. The picture is half way through the regular size portion. The interior doesn't have a lot of seating but it's clean and air conditioned.. . I highly recommend this Ewa Beach hole in the wall. Plus they cater. Ono-licious.“

“Aji Ramen is a true gem that every ramen lover must visit! The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home.

Now, let’s talk about the food! The portions are huge, and the ramen here is simply amazing! Each bowl is a perfect harmony of rich, flavorful broth, impeccably cooked noodles, and fresh toppings. Every slurp was a delightful experience that kept me wanting more.
The fried noodles, too, were outstanding – crispy, savory, and just the right amount of satisfying.

But what truly stole the show for me were the crab and cream cheese puffs. I can confidently say they are the best I've encountered at any restaurant in Hawaii! These puffs are incredibly light, bursting with creamy goodness, and filled with a perfect blend of tender crab meat. They are truly a must-try!

“I visited for the first time yesterday and loved it! I ordered the mochiko chicken, which was delicious. The place was busy, with people waiting outside, but I didn’t have to wait as I sat on the bar-side seating, which gave a great vibe. They also have regular tables, but I enjoyed the bar-style atmosphere. Overall, a great experience—I’ll definitely come back and recommend it!

“More value for money! Awesome food, big savory portions! It’s also a family-friendly place! They recently added toys and a stuff toy vending machine for the little ones. If you are dining in, the ambiance is cozy, they have their own restroom. Tables are big and can accomodate bigger groups if needed. I always order from them either from Uber Eats or in-person at the restaurant for dine-in or take out! Staff is very friendly! I love going to this restaurant. It’s also close to Long’s and Foodland so if you have errands to run, everything is in one location! :)“

“I was very shocked to see a negative review for this place because we’ve eaten here 4 times now and it is always phenomenal. The restaurant itself is very clean and open, you can see right back to the kitchen and see that it’s also clean there. The price is very reasonable and you get a LOT of food. They have keiki/mini sizes available for every menu item if you don’t want a huge plate (their sizes are generous). My 3 year old can eat an adult size bowl of ramen and their keiki ramen is big enough for him to get full on. Their mochiko chicken is fried to perfection, crunchy outside and moist inside. The fish katsu is my favorite. Every time I go the quality is perfection, whether it’s a busy Friday night or mid day on a Wednesday. The women working the front are SO kind and helpful, they hold the door open, they helped me out to my car with my big order of food, they come refill waters and check on us during our meal when we eat in the restaurant. Best staff I’ve ever encountered consistently. Oh and the wait time for our food is never more than 10 minutes, so it’s quality food, quickly made, and friendly staff.
