“We stopped in the Kea'au deli to try out the food and we were pleasantly surprised with the selection even though we came later in the day so many things were sold out.We settled on two solids, a scone, and a portobello mushroom sandwich, all of which were delicious and the total was $30.There is not a sit-down area in this particular spot, so this is more of a takeaway station. They will heat up your sandwiches if needed, and they do fresh breakfast sandwiches and a variety of baked goods.The salad was really good, it was fig, spring mix, tomatoes and goat cheese with a house vinaigrette and it also comes with a sizable biscuit that was cheddar and rosemary.If you're looking for a quick takeaway lunch, this is great spot!
Vegetarian options: There were vegetarian focused sandwiches such as a portobello mushroom and a bunch of salads.
Wheelchair accessibility: There isn't a great option for wheelchair access, there is a parking spot that would allow offloading that isn't marked as wheelchair accessible, but there isn't a way to easily get into the storefront and items are high up.“

“I don't understand how "Da Bean" down da road is rated 4.8 and this place 4.2 on Google. Fantastic cold brew and Vietnamese Iced coffee and sandwich! All under 20 bucks. Very fast too. My only complaint is their drive through speakers suck I had to repeat my order 83747389384849394848448 times before they got it. Otherwise this place is way better than any other coffee shop around I've found so far.“

“This store has the most recent automated order takers, fast and efficient, hot burgers. The staff is just as rude as any in the area, nothing new here. One word of advice, check your fries to be sure they haven't been recycled, refried and brown. This is completely unacceptable and not expected from McDonald's.“

“We went to Koana to start a birthday celebration and it became the most memorable part of the day! The drinks are amazing, the desserts are incredible, the atmosphere comfortable and charming and the hosts attentive and charismatic. if you want a truly unique experience go to Koana.“

“It may be a food truck, but trust me, these folks take coffee culture to a level that makes Starbucks seem like kindergarten. My only complaint: how do you decide what to order when you literally want to try everything on the menu? Orange blossom or Black sesame latte? Thai iced tea (made with coconut milk) or Lilikoi Cheesecake frappucino? I finally went with the Vietnamese iced coffee. Never had it before, but knew that it would be crafted competently here. I'm not exaggerating when I say that this was the BEST espresso beverage I have ever tasted! Super bold espresso flavor tempered with exactly the right amount of sweetness and cream! Five stars is not enough for this business. I will definitely be a customer for life!

“It's literally the best coffee I've ever had...and consistently. I've been going since last year and it's blown me away every time. And I'm from Seattle...the coffee capital of the world. As well as went to coffee school when I became a barista in Seattle. I really think it has something to do with their like $25,000 machine because the actual coffere isn't specialty. It's really remarkable how crucial the machine is. Best coffee on Big Island, for sure. So much so that I felt I needed to write a review about it after a year of having it. ?❤️“

“This coffee shop is actually connected to the general store its next to from the inside and I think is under the store as well. Prices are normal, coffees good, dude behind the counter is nice, what more do you need? We stopped here for some coffee on our way to the beach.“

“I'm here now and I decided to leave this review right away. This is a courteous friendly crew that made me coming back to Starbucks. It may be me.....coming from Vegas where Starbucks employees are absolutely rude (then stick those payment machines with 15-20-25 percent tip buttons). I tried to tip here where it is well deserved but the cashier said "no tips but thank you for the thought". How's that for being courteous to a customer.“

“Paul's place is a cozy spot especially for brunch!
As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Mr. Paul himself with a bright smile and welcomed us into his place.
As we are in October, the place was decorated with fall decor.
The interior is set for 3 tables and a direct view as the chef cooks our meal right on the other side of the counter. It was a special experience as he explained each of his dishes on the menu and then interacted with us as he was preparing our meal.
We were there fairly early so was able to walk in but highly recommend to call in and set a reservation to ensure seating is available.
We ordered the smoked salmon eggs Benedict with his special aioli sauce instead of the traditional hollandaise sauce.
Also ordered the pasta de Marco which he stated was his signature dish for breakfast. It was a unique dish featuring noodles pan fried with eggs to create a light crispy base topped with salmon, bacon, tomatoes, capers, mixed greens. It was delicious and would definitely order it again.
There is limited parking so may have harder time to find parking.
Paul was a phenomenal host and highly recommend others to come visit and enjoy his delicious creations.“

“Winter Roll is my favorite dish to order. Nobody in Hilo makes this. The nice gentleman always deliver my take out order to my car. Everyone here gives excellent service, everytime I go there!

The drinks are fantastic, the Garden Seating is beautiful and peaceful, it's attached to Mystic Closet which has super stylish clothes and accessories. “Popover is our favorite donut shop in Hilo. Get there early in the day, all the best flavors can get snatched up before mid morning. Some of our favorite flavors are ube, lilikoi coconut, maple bacon and mocha. Save room in your box for some cream puffs- the haupia-filled pastries are three thumbs up!
Parking: Plenty of off-street parking available in their lot.
Kid-friendliness: Kids love the old-fashioned doughnut cases to ogle and choose favorites.

“Starbucks™ at Puainako, is very relaxing and the use of it's free Wi-Fi for those who are patrons of the restaurant is very intriguing! Especially delicious pastries that they have, it's convenient location, and popular with locals. Also, visitors can come and use the amenities that Starbucks™ provides. “Only applies to breakfast and lunch: The food is good to very good, depending on what is ordered, with a decent price/performance ratio. The choices could be a little more, but it's quite normal for Hawaii. The bar itself is hip, a little too dark for my taste, but there are plenty of seats inside and a few outside. There are also public parking spaces nearby.“

We particularly enjoyed the passion fruit filled ones and the savory ones topped with whipped cream cheese and the herbs. Came back for seconds today. Hot, fresh as can be and delicious. I can find any and everything I need at my local Walmart, and with the delivery service and being a monthly member, all my needs are being met in ONE place. “First, food is excellent! They do a very nice job, make it fresh and the place is very cool...right next to two other food counters, also right around the corner from the market. One is Thai, very good as well and another acai bowl place which we also love. I took a star because of the hours, twice now we have gone wanting this and they are closed?? Both times were within what they say open on here, but nothing there but a closed sign, frustrating because we love the food.“

“Excellent coffee and people. Coffee is consistently wonderful. I ran out of coffee and just grabbed another brand at the store, what a waste of money. Horrible stomach acid and not enough sugar in my house to take away the bitterness. Thankful when I got my new supply of Big Island Coffee in. It really is the only coffee I can drink. Thank you for all you do to supply me with my only addiction. I have dealt with this company for awhile and I couldn’t find a nicer bunch of people. They have gone out of their way for me several times. Also, it was so cool what you did for Lahaina with your contribution. The world needs more people showing kindness to their fellow humans. “I tried the Pineapple Mint. Did not taste any pineapple. The flavor kinda reminds me of hibiscus tea and mint. Like I was just chewing gum and swallowed it. The mint stays with you. It is strangely good, and refreshing. Give yourself self a couple swigs to get used to it. Different weird and strange. Gonna try it with Sailor Jerry rum.“
